Chapter 10 - chapter-9 Spirit Pagoda

The morning sun streamed through the curtains into the room. Fang Yang woke up early, had a simple breakfast, and then headed to Hongshan Academy.

The day's classes passed uneventfully until the afternoon dismissal bell rang.

As Fang Yang walked out of the classroom, a familiar figure came into view.

Na'er was standing quietly in the corridor, dressed in a light white dress, her silver hair glowing softly in the setting sun.

Fang Yang quickly walked over, his eyes full of surprise: "Na'er, why are you here?"

"Hehe, I missed big brother!" Na'er's face broke into a sweet smile, and she stepped forward to link her arm through Fang Yang's.

Fang Yang subconsciously asked: "Does Mom know you came to school?"

"I asked Mom to bring me!" Na'er explained obediently, "Mom is still busy, and I saw it was almost time for school to end, so I came over by myself to wait for you."

Hearing this explanation, Fang Yang finally relaxed.

He was about to take Na'er and leave when a familiar voice suddenly came from behind him.

"Fang Yang, this is...?" Tang Wulin walked out of the classroom.

His gaze was involuntarily drawn to Na'er.

For some reason, the first time he saw the silver-haired girl, a strange sense of familiarity welled up in Tang Wulin's heart, as if they were meant to know each other.

"Wu Lin, this is my younger sister Na'er." Fang Yang noticed Tang Wulin's unusual gaze, and he subtly shifted his body, quietly shielding Na'er behind him.

"Younger sister Na'er, hello, I am Tang Wulin." Tang Wulin showed a friendly smile.

Na'er just nodded politely, without speaking.

"Wu Lin? What's wrong?" Seeing Tang Wulin lost in thought, Fang Yang patted his shoulder.

Tang Wulin snapped out of it, scratching his head a little sheepishly: "Sorry, I didn't mean to."

Fang Yang said: "Wu Lin, it's alright. By the way, didn't you say you were going to Mang Tian's studio to learn forging? How's it going?"

At the mention of this, Tang Wulin's eyes immediately lit up: "Grandmaster Mang Tian thinks highly of me and has officially accepted me as his disciple!"

As he spoke, his gaze unconsciously drifted towards Na'er, as if he especially wanted to show off in front of her.

However, this boastful tone was a little different from his usual self.

What disappointed Tang Wulin was that Na'er remained unresponsive, with no discernible ripple in her purple eyes.

As someone who had been through it before, Fang Yang immediately saw through Tang Wulin's little thoughts.

However, as Tang Wulin's friend, he still said: "Wu Lin, congratulations."

"Thank you." Tang Wulin smiled honestly.

The two chatted for a few more sentences until Tang Wulin checked the time, saying with some reluctance: "I have to go to the studio. Let's talk again when we have time."

With that, he left.

It wasn't until Tang Wulin had left that Na'er, sensing something, gently tugged at Fang Yang's sleeve, a mischievous glint in her purple eyes: "Big brother, don't you like that Tang Wulin?"

Fang Yang was slightly startled, then shook his head in denial: "No, it's just..."

He paused, his voice unconsciously dropping a few octaves, "I don't want him to get too close to you."

"Oh~"

Na'er drew out the sound, a hint of slyness flashing in her eyes: "Big brother, you're jealous."

"Na'er, don't talk nonsense, I'm not." Fang Yang's old face flushed, and he quickly denied it.

Seeing Fang Yang's flustered look, Na'er couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Alright, alright, I promise big brother, I'll stay away from that Tang Wulin from now on."

For some reason, hearing Na'er's words, a warm current surged through Fang Yang's heart, as if a hanging stone had finally fallen.

After leaving Hongshan Academy, the two strolled along the street.

Before long, Na'er suddenly stopped, pointing at a candy store by the roadside, her eyes sparkling: "Big brother, I want a lollipop~"

She swayed Fang Yang's arm coquettishly, her silver hair fluttering with the movement.

"Okay, whatever you want." Fang Yang dotingly ruffled her hair. Then, holding Na'er's hand, he walked into the candy store.

After a while, Fang Yang carried a bag in his left hand, filled with various flavors of candy and snacks, while holding Na'er's hand with his right.

"Big brother, where are we going next?" Na'er asked curiously, eating a lollipop.

Fang Yang's gaze turned towards the majestic building in the distance.

He softly replied: "To the Spirit Transfer Pagoda."

Aolai City has a branch of the Spirit Transfer Pagoda, located in the city center. It is a three-story tower-shaped building, which is the lowest Rank of Spirit Transfer Pagoda branch. The Spirit Transfer Pagoda in medium-sized cities will be seven stories high, and in large cities, it will be thirteen stories high.

As for the headquarters of the Spirit Transfer Pagoda, located in Shrek City, after years of renovation, it boasts eighty-one stories and is known as the most magnificent building on the Douluo Continent.

The Spirit Transfer Pagoda itself is an organization founded by Spirit Ice Douluo Huo Yuhao ten thousand years ago, and because of their groundbreaking research—artificial Soul Spirits.

Today, the Spirit Transfer Pagoda's influence has even surpassed that of the Tang Sect and Shrek Academy, becoming a super-power spanning the Sun Moon Federation, Heaven Dou Empire, and Star Luo Federation, with countless powerful individuals under its command.

When Fang Yang and Na'er arrived at the entrance of the Spirit Transfer Pagoda again, the familiar young female staff member immediately recognized him.

"Little friend, it's you!" Her eyes lit up, a smile appeared on her face, and she quickly stepped forward to greet him.

She remembered this child clearly; when he came alone to find Grandmaster Su Tao last time, his composure and politeness, beyond his years, left a deep impression on her.

Fang Yang bowed politely: "Hello, Big Sister."

The female staff member smiled gently: "Long time no see. Is this lovely little girl your younger sister?"

Her gaze fell on the silver-haired girl beside Fang Yang.

Na'er heard her and shyly hid behind Fang Yang.

"Yes, this is my younger sister Na'er." Fang Yang smiled and ruffled Na'er's soft silver hair, then his expression turned serious, "Big Sister, I'm here this time to find Grandmaster Su Tao to perform a Soul Spirit Fusion."

The female staff member was stunned, the smile on her face instantly freezing.

She looked at Fang Yang in disbelief. Only a few days had passed since the Spirit Awakening Ceremony, and this child had already reached the Realm where he needed a Soul Spirit Fusion?

Her professionalism quickly allowed her to adjust her expression, putting on a professional smile again: "Please follow me, I will take you to see Grandmaster Su Tao now."

Fang Yang nodded, tightly holding Na'er's small hand, and followed closely behind.

Under the guidance of the female staff member, Fang Yang entered the Spirit Transfer Pagoda and was led to a familiar reception room.

"Please wait here, I will go inform Grandmaster Su Tao now." The female staff member bowed and exited, gently closing the door.

Fang Yang first placed the items in his hand on the coffee table, then sat on the sofa with Na'er, who curiously surveyed the room's furnishings.

Before long, the reception room door was pushed open, and a middle-aged man in a dark blue robe entered.

Su Tao's voice was deep and powerful, and his gaze fell on Fang Yang: "Are you planning to perform a Soul Spirit Fusion?"

Fang Yang stood up and answered without hesitation: "Yes, Uncle Su Tao. I came here this time precisely for a Soul Spirit Fusion, to Breakthrough to the Spirit Master Realm!"

"Good, but before that, I'll take you to test your mental force level."

Then, Su Tao turned and gestured: "Follow me."
