Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Class Monitor? Not Even Dogs want to do it!

Chen Yansen watched Song Yuncheng's flustered retreat and chuckled softly.

The campus was bustling with freshmen, long lines forming at the telecommunications booth, all eager to get their campus cards.

Several pretty girls lingered near Chen Yansen, curiosity glinting in their eyes.

"Asking so many questions… do you want to be my girlfriend?" he said, feigning annoyance.

Most girls blushed furiously and shook their heads. Only one dared to speak.

"Senior, I want to be your girlfriend. Is it a reservation or a waiting list?"

Chen Yansen turned, spotting a tall girl in a light green T-shirt and fringed skirt, her hair tied casually in a bun. Pale, delicate features, a tiny beauty mark by her eye—she was unmistakably confident.

"Let's introduce ourselves first. See if our horoscopes match," Chen Yansen said, unbothered. He'd seen countless girls as the CEO of Feiyu Technology; she wouldn't intimidate him.

"I'm Su Meiling, from Luzhou. Journalism major, freshman. My birth date is on your registration form," she replied with a graceful smile.

Chen Yansen blinked. That name… he knew it from his past life. Tang Zhenzhe had pined over a class monitor named Su Meiling for four years!

"Sorry, junior. My mom won't let me date girls named Su," he said helplessly, earning laughter from the surrounding students.

Su Meiling flushed, then laughed. "Then, senior, can you ask my aunt which surnames are allowed? If not, I'll go change mine at the police station!"

"Sure! I'll call you once I figure it out," Chen Yansen replied with an 'OK' sign, returning to work.

Relieved, Su Meiling melted into the crowd.

By 10 a.m., Chen Yansen received his first "roommate proxy"—Song Yang, shy and awkward, was surprisingly the first to arrive.

"You, a rich kid, competing with poor students for food?" Chen Yansen asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Brother Sen… can't I do it?" Song Yang stammered.

"Of course. But do you even know the music academy, the girls' dorms, or the best cafeteria?" Chen Yansen shot back.

Song Yang's excitement faded instantly, replaced with a mix of awe and anxiety.

Chen Yansen handed him 10 campus cards and the "Virtual City Academy Freshman Guide."

"Memorize this in an hour, then sell all these cards today."

"Thanks, Brother Sen! I'll do my best!" Song Yang said sincerely, a gratitude unlike before in his voice.

Tang Zhenzhe, Zhu Xiaopeng, Meng Xibo, and Wang Zhengqiang arrived one by one. Each received 10 cards, enough to start selling even without official welcoming staff vests.

By 5 p.m., the crowds thinned, and Chen Yansen tallied the numbers. "There are 13 agents who haven't reported. If they sell all their cards, we'll hit 4,160 new activations in two days."

Gu Wenwen frowned. "You should be happy—you earned hundreds of thousands. I, on the other hand…"

"Buy two apartments?" Chen Yansen teased, earning a laugh from her.

She blushed. "I'm 18!"

"Good to know," he replied, leaning closer in a low, teasing voice.

Gu Wenwen quickly changed the subject. "Manager Zhao wants to meet you at Galaxy Star tonight."

"I have a class meeting. Tell him tomorrow," Chen Yansen replied calmly, then checked the new group chat '8302' Song Yang had made.

"Brother Sen, there's a class meeting at 6 p.m. They're electing class monitor. If you run, you're basically guaranteed," Meng Xibo tagged him.

"Brother Sen, Li Wenhao from the next dorm has been campaigning all afternoon. Keep an eye on him," Zhu Xiaopeng added.

"Brother Sen, I saved you a good seat in the classroom," Song Yang said.

Chen Yansen smirked, typing:"Class monitor? Not even a dog! @Tang Zhenzhe, you interested? Full support from me."

Tang Zhenzhe stared at the screen, dumbfounded. Question marks flooded his mind—and his chat reply.
