Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Magia Booster

After Kagura's breathing gradually stabilized, Tike looked at the sky and estimated that there was still some time before dinner. He then proposed, "Alice probably hasn't finished her business yet. How about you accompany me to try my new magic again?"

"You have a new move again?" A trace of curiosity flashed in Kagura's eyes, and she nodded readily: "Sure, bring it on! I'll take it properly!"

Tike waved his hand and explained with a smile, "This time it's not a spar, and what I want to test isn't an attack magic. Hmm... it should be considered a kind of support magic."

"Support magic?" Kagura tilted her head in slight confusion, a wisp of hair falling playfully. "Besides Healing Magic, do you know other support magic?"

"Probably, so I want to try and see if it can succeed."

Tike wasn't too sure either, answering somewhat ambiguously.

"Then how do we test it?"

Tike didn't answer directly but asked back:

"Can you still use magic now?"

Kagura sensed the little magic power left in her body and nodded: "Mm, recovered a little just now, barely enough to use magic one more time."

"That's good."

Tike reached out and held Kagura's palm, fingers interlacing, ten fingers tightly connected.

Feeling the warmth from his palm, Kagura felt a bit shy.

"Ti... Tike, what are you doing?"

Tike didn't notice Kagura's strange behavior. He was concentrating fully on recalling the vague impression of this magic in his mind, trying to guide the magic power.

"Seems to be used like this. Try casting magic on the open space nearby."

"Okay..."

Although puzzled, Kagura still gathered the remaining magic power in her body and released Gravity Magic toward the open space Tike pointed at.

The moment Kagura's magic was released, a small black sphere suddenly appeared on the originally empty ground.

Immediately after, a suction force powerful enough to be irresistible erupted from the center of the black sphere.

In an instant, the surrounding trees were uprooted and flew toward the black sphere. Upon contact, they were devoured completely, vanishing without a trace.

Even Kagura herself could clearly feel her body being pulled uncontrollably.

Fortunately, Tike held her hand tightly all the time, giving her immense security, preventing her from being sucked into the darkness that seemed capable of swallowing everything.

When the black sphere disappeared and everything returned to calm, Kagura looked at the bare ground around her, her eyes filled with disbelief.

Normally, the little magic power left in her body would have difficulty even maintaining basic flight. How could it have such destructive power right now?

Unlike Kagura's shock, Tike wasn't surprised by the result before him.

"As expected, this is magic that can strengthen magic."

Since learning from his conversation with Grandma Porlyusica today that his magic could enhance the efficacy of potions, Tike had been pondering this question.

If his magic really had this ability, why had it never had such an effect when he was in other worlds before?

Why was it only effective on Porlyusica's potions—no, more accurately, on the potions of this world?

He had thought of a possibility and verified it with Porlyusica.

The medicinal herbs they used now, like the human bodies in this world, contained trace amounts of magic particles called Ethernano.

Potions concocted from these herbs, in a sense, were equivalent to a special kind of magic.

Then, could his magic not only affect potions but also affect all magic?

Through this experiment with Kagura just now, Tike finally successfully verified his conjecture.

(Speaking of which, did I use it like this before?)

A vague memory surfaced in Tike's mind, but he couldn't recall it clearly for a moment. He could only vaguely sense that he had unconsciously used this ability before.

Kagura blinked, suddenly thinking of something.

"Then if you use this ability to strengthen your own magic, wouldn't you become even more powerful?"

"I'll try."

Tike felt this idea made a lot of sense. If it could affect his own magic, couldn't he continuously stack amplification effects, turning himself into a stat monster, beating whomever he wanted?

He immediately mobilized his magic power, tapping his finger lightly, releasing a most basic water magic.

Compared to usual, this magic didn't change at all, nor did its power increase.

"No, 'Magia Booster' can't affect my own magic."

Tike shook his head with slight regret, while also naming this newly discovered magic.

Since such a restriction existed, he had to make other plans.

Tike's biological mother, the powerful and beautiful Moon Dragon God Selene, had been heavily injured since the first time he saw her.

The Healing Magic Tike mastered could temporarily alleviate her pain but couldn't fundamentally cure her severe injuries and restore her to complete health.

Although he left his mother's side because he felt uncomfortable, Tike had never let go of his worry for her.

After all, she loved him. Tike could never watch someone who loved him die.

So, as early as when he left his mother, Tike had made up his mind that when his Healing Magic reached mastery, he would definitely go back to treat her.

And the reason he learned potion concoction from Porlyusica was precisely to make one more preparation for this goal.

(The fruits left for Mom can still last for two years. If my magic hasn't reached the level sufficient to cure Mom's injuries within these two years, then I'll go ask Grandma Porlyusica. If that really doesn't work, I'll have to go replenish some fruits for her again.)

Grrrr~

A slightly abrupt sound interrupted Tike's thoughts.

Kagura lowered her head slightly, hands gently covering her stomach, a faint blush appearing on her face.

Coincidentally, Tike was hungry too.

"Let's go back and have hotpot!"

---

In the boys' dormitory, Simon appeared exceptionally happy after learning that Kagura had also learned magic, constantly showing off his sister to people around him.

Watching Simon's proud demeanor, Tike felt somewhat surprised.

Normally, as Kagura's biological brother, Simon should have known about Kagura learning magic long ago.

However, these were not Tike's current focus.

At this moment, a group of similarly aged children sat around a large round table, staring intently at the steaming large iron pot in the center of the table.

The so-called dining table was also an invisible battlefield!

Especially when eating hotpot!

To fish out more fresh and delicious fish meat from the boiling hotpot, a magic war began!
