"Second Skill, Mind Annihilation!"
"It's useless, mental abilities are ineffective against me!"
Yinhu took a step back, exerted force, and swung his fist, the size of a sandbag, towards Su Zhongren!
"Who said this old man was trying to control you!?"
Facing the fist that was inches away, Su Zhongren was completely unfazed.
He even made Yinhu feel as though he had missed, but in the end, that punch smashed the old man's head to bits.
"Huh?" Yinhu was a little taken aback, then he laughed: "Haha, the old man really knows how to be mysterious." As he laughed, he saw something was wrong on the faces of the old man's companions; they didn't seem concerned at all.
Something out of the ordinary must be a sign of something strange!
That headless corpse didn't fall; it directly embraced Yinhu. Boom! A deep pit immediately exploded on the ground.
"Brother Tiger!"
The sound of the explosion came, and the two of them exclaimed in alarm.
Taking this opportunity, Su Wuyi launched a fierce attack. Water droplets gathered into countless water blades, cutting through the void and shooting towards Yan Chi and the Nine-Lives Cat.
"Smelly woman, don't be so arrogant! Second Skill, Flame Python Coiling."
As soon as the words fell, a strong flame erupted around them, protecting them like fire snakes.
"Second Skill, Time's Passage!" Seeing this, Su Momo also launched an attack, emitting a beam of light with a single hand. Any skills hit by her beam would be returned to the caster, consuming their spirit. No defense skill was invulnerable before her.
"Elm Thorn Thicket!" Facing that strange light, the Nine-Lives Cat also revealed its beast-like mechanical body, its mask cracked, revealing a face crisscrossed with scars. He stomped the ground, his whole body covered with a layer of mechanical body, and his butt even had an alloy tail spike. The tail spike bloomed like a chrysanthemum, spewing out several steel needles to intercept the light beam.
"Damn it, how are there so many Third Orders?"
Those who could release group attacks from a distance were undoubtedly Third Orders. Among them, the one who controlled fire was the weakest, but even the weakest was still late Second Order, far beyond the capabilities of the two rookies behind her.
Hiding under the bridge, Song Qiming and Zhao Ziming were seeing the battle of ability users for the first time. They were somewhat dumbfounded. This kind of battle was not something they could participate in at all. It had nothing to do with level; they completely lacked practical combat experience. Even if they weren't afraid, going up would only cause trouble.
"Miss, let me watch over you. Don't go up unless it's absolutely necessary!" Su Wu, a Healer, though only Second Order, was far less powerful in combat than ordinary Second Orders and could only hide behind and act as a healer.
The smoke dispersed, and Yinhu's mask fell off. His entire body's muscles were blown to a bloody pulp. He spat out a mouthful of blood and stared fixedly at Su Zhongren, who was slowly walking towards him.
"Old man, you're really insidious. You almost killed me."
"Hehe... you're quite impressive, young man, capable of instantly strengthening your body a second before the explosion. Too bad, my substitute was only First Order."
"Clatter~"
The glass on the second floor of the teaching building was shattered, scattering on the ground. Then, a person tossed two corpses down with a single hand. The one wearing the black shadow mask, standing on the window, shouted, "What? Still haven't dealt with it?"
"M-my...lady, this subordinate is incompetent..."
Both of them were covered in blood, their limbs gone, barely clinging to life.
"Su San! Su Qi!"
Su Momo knelt down, tears welling up in her eyes.
After all, they had been her subordinates for many years; it was impossible not to be heartbroken.
Su Wu knew that if he didn't intervene at this moment, those two would really die. No one could stop their bleeding.
So, he said to the two people beside him, "You two watch the person upstairs and protect me!"
The two of them nodded, still shaken.
"Miss, I'm here!" Su Wu hurried over, and leaned down. His hands glowed with a crystalline green light, which he slowly infused into the two of them.
"Hmm? Healing Type!" Yinhu licked his lips, but wasn't in a hurry to make a move. Even if those two grasshoppers were saved, without limbs, they'd be no different from the dead.
"Please..."
Su Momo's hanging heart relaxed a little. The peak of the Healing Type could defy the heavens and change fate. With Su Wu's ability, it wouldn't be a problem to save the two.
For now, they needed to quickly deal with these people!
With a cold face, she said to the two white-clothed youths behind her, "Watch the people above, and protect Su Wu."
The two of them looked up at the person, whose mask was covered in bright red blood, and who was still holding a human arm in his hand.
The sight alone was enough to make the two newbies swallow hard. They were thinking, shouldn't they start with some Zombies to get a feel for things?
The sounds of battle also attracted the Zombies from other classrooms, and they began to swarm towards them.
Both sides realized they needed to finish this quickly.
Building 8, third floor.
A group of Zombies stood at the door of a classroom, they seemed to notice Ye Xin's arrival and all let out a screech.
"Perfect, time to test out the new skill! You stay back, you little dummy~"
"You're the dummy... Hmph..." Su Duoduo obediently hid in the stairwell, afraid this guy would go crazy and get blood all over her newly changed clothes – that would be a waste.
After Su Duoduo moved away, Ye Xin took a half-step back with his right foot and bent down to gather power. With so many Zombies gathered, he naturally had to unleash a big move to strike at the heart of the matter.
[Sima Yi's Third Skill Activated, Reaper's Descent!]
The shadows at his feet writhed violently, as if alive. They crawled up his body, enveloping him. He kicked off the ground with both feet, black as night, and slammed into the zombies like a cannonball. The moment he touched them, they exploded into pieces. The concrete of the corridor shattered, and the classroom walls and windows were blasted open, leaving several human-shaped holes.
Two boys standing near the wall jumped back in fright.
"Ahhhhh!!!!!!" A girl screamed, her voice surprisingly powerful. Even the girl who complained about being hungry all day seemed to have gotten a burst of energy, and ran towards the other side of the wall. Everyone huddled together in the east and south corners, clinging to each other in helplessness.
"Wan'er... are we going to die here..." Xia Nan and Xie Wan'er were hiding in the innermost corner. She glanced at the window; jumping was the only option left.
"Don't be afraid..."
"Don't worry, I have superpowers, I'll protect everyone." To project a good image for his classmates, or perhaps to show off in front of Xie Wan'er, Huang Zitao stood at the front, his legs trembling uncontrollably.
Damn... whose intestines are dragging on the ground, and can still crawl... Is this a virus...?
He regretted it. A zombie, not yet dead, had been dragged in, intestines trailing as it crawled towards them.
"Zitao, hurry and kill it!" Cao Yong, the man with glasses, shouted. As an intellectual, he naturally didn't believe in ghosts, but what was happening before his eyes defied common sense, and there was more than one.
Could it be that the government's talk of a virus was a lie, and people were really turning into zombies?
Originally, they had placed a pile of tables in front of the doors and windows to block the infected, but now they were just a pile of rubble and obstacles to their escape.
Five or six zombies crawled up from the debris, their faces mangled from the impact, making them even more terrifying.
"Waaah... We're going to be eaten by monsters..."
"Class monitor, use your superpowers..."
"I...I..." Behind him were classmates full of hope, in front of him a group of terrifying monsters. Huang Zitao's legs trembled uncontrollably, his teeth chattering, and finally, he gave up, crawling to the window and shouting, "I'm sorry... everyone..."
After saying that, he really jumped. This was the third floor, after all!
Two boys climbed to the window to take a look. The ground was concrete. Huang Zitao walked away as if nothing had happened, looking dejected.
"Damn, this bastard didn't die after jumping!"
"Damn it, I trusted him so much!"
"Classmates, pick up anything you can and try to charge out! One at a time!"
With a voice to rally around, Cao Yong took the lead and picked up a chair, smashing it at a Zombie. The chair shattered, but the Zombie was unfazed and pounced towards him.
He retreated a few steps, finding that the Zombie's movements were slow. He recognized a few of them…
"Shu Zhen, Li Huan, I'm your math teacher. Do you remember me?"
The two of them shuffled forward with zombie-like steps, each movement accompanied by a roar.
