Chapter 18 - Netherpeak's Netherworld entrance! Gathering of outer and Inner disciples

Compared to before, Wang Li appeared even more unfathomable.

His blood and Qi were capable of rivaling early Martial Origin Realm experts.

It was also the reason, he couldn't be able to breakthrough.

His cultivation on the other hand was also still in place. He couldn't take that step to the Seventh level of Martial Genesis realm.

The reason was simple, he had little accumulation of Qi and blood at the moment. Quality failed to meet the need for quantity as his body potential had been enhanced by thousands of times due to the Ancient technique he incorporated in the Mountains and Seas Art.

The amount of resources he would require for this is astronomical. He was very much willing to visit the Netherworld that his master praised so much to see exactly what benefits this place had for the Martial Genesis realm cultivators.

Wang Li stood outside of the Tidal Abyss and felt a sense of being watched from within the miasma poison.

"I'll be back when my strength is enough!" He thought to himself, as his figure turned into an after image headed to the Sect.

His speed was faster, and even his shadow could barely be seen as it moved.

In just four hours he was standing at the sect.

Before he could even call for Wang Lu, a voice sounded in his mind.

"Good Disciple! Where have you been all this time? This is not what you promised me when I let you leave the sect!"

"Huh! You actually dare to ask me where I have been? Seriously, do you believe in yourself?" Wang Li murmured lightly.

But the angry voice brought him back to reality.

"Hehe! What did you just? Repeat that for this old lady?"

Turning his head, Wang Lu was standing at the side watching him with half a smile.

"Pei!Pei!Pei! Look at what my mouth is saying. Master why are you here? " He moved faster and held her arm as they walked towards the sect entrance gate.

"Master! Disciple was just wondering how you have been all this time? Have you been eating well? Did you sleep well?" Wang Li was shameless as ever.

He clearly didn't have the guts to repeat what he had just said.

"Hehe! You even care about this old woman's sleep?" Wang Lu asked sarcastically.

"If the master doesn't have enough sleep, she will really end up getting old!" Wang Li had not finished speaking when he was knocked flying.

"Master! Why?" He asked as he struggled to stand up.

"Sigh! Accompanying the master is like accompanying a tigress. One wrong move and you will turn into food!" Wang Li complained out loud.

It was clearly intentional.

"Good Disciple! What did you just say?" The voice sounded but she wasn't around.

Even so, she still didn't fail to deliver as Wang Li was sent flying again.

"Come back quickly, this old woman has something to tell you before the Netherpeak entrance to the Netherworld opens!" Hearing Wang Lu's voice he smiled helplessly.

'Master! You have made it impossible for this disciple to walk.' even as he complained, he dragged his numb body back to the tenth Peak.

When Wang Li arrived, Wang Lu was sitting at the stone steps watching him.

"Not bad! With your current strength it should be possible to gain some benefits in the Netherworld. Actually in the Netherworld, resources are living creatures. You kill locals of the Netherworld and they kill as invaders too as resources." Wang Lu dropped such a large bomb on him at the start.

He ignored what she mentioned about his strength, he knew she was just getting even with him. He focused his attention on the mention of resources.

"Master means the bodies of Netherworld inhabitants are a treasure?" Wang Li asked for confirmation.

"Well! To be specific their blood. Once on the battlefield, every time a Netherworld creature dies, it will turn into a drop of deep grey drop. That is the essence of accumulated from the creature's vitality as well as power. Refining it speeds up the accumulation in the Martial Genesis realm. The only problem that blocks anyone from advancing is lack of realm accumulation. By realm accumulation I'm obviously talking about the level one has comprended their technique to." Wang Lu smiled as she explained.

"Disciple! For you entering this place other than watching your own back, it should be a smooth ride to the pinnacle of the Martial Genesis realm. In the Netherworld, don't put focus anywhere else unless you have reached the pinnacle in all aspects of the Martial Genesis realm and can't advance further." Wang Lu gave some advice.

"Oh! I wanted to give you a gift!" She made a grabbing motion, and seven coloured energy converged at the palm of her hand.

Looking closely, a saber was slowly taking shape in her hand.

When the saber became completely solid, a saber chant sounded.

Within her left hand, a sheath appeared and she pushed the saber inside before throwing it to Wang Li.

Watching all the theatrics she was performing, he became very vigilant with that blade.

"This is a saber that once accompanied your master back then. Don't let this saber down!" She said with a smile.

Wang Li on the other hand kept inspecting it just in case she had produced a counterfeit.

"Disciple why don't you say something!' she asked seeing his actions, Wang Lu had no idea whether to laugh or cry.

"It's sharp and tough! It seems authentic." Wang Li replied.

"Rebellious disciple! What do you mean by authentic?" She asked as she glared at him.

Seeing her expression, he hurriedly said "Thank you master!"

He shrewdly held the saber firmly in case she regretted her decision.

Wang Li suddenly remembered he had taken three techniques from Wang Lu but had yet to look through them.

"By the way master, when will the entrance appear?" He was interested in a specific time to see if he could focus on learning something from the saber techniques.

"It's already open. You should also probably head to the Netherpeak. I have already made some arrangements for you. Just go and wait for the opportunity to arrive." She said impatiently clearly unhappy this disciple wasn't cooperating.

"Okay master!" Wang Li hurriedly run away with a saber in hand.

Wang Li had trained in saber techniques, but they had yet to be fused in the Mountains and Seas Art.

He had suspected they were too weak, now that he had them, he lacked time. He needed a quick fix, but he had been too focused on enhancing his foundation.

Walking down the peak, Wang Li unsheathed the saber, stroking it lightly.

"What a fine saber! It would be a shame to lack the proper skill to use this kind of weapon." He sheathed the saber.

He then walked alone towards the Netherpeak.

The moment he arrived at the peak, it felt completely different.

The place was very cold, and each time he walked up the peak, he felt the temperature drop even lower.

"What kind of techniques do those from this peak cultivate?" He became curious about the Netherpeak as he walked further up the mountain.

When he was feeling the changes in temperature, he heard a sound from the top. It was several meters away from him.

"Senior sister Cao! Why are we going up there to suffer?" A female disciple asked as she dragged her feet.

"Junior sister Mei! I don't remember asking you to accompany me, right?" The Cao woman countered fast.

"I'm just curious! The master said that some outer disciples will be participating to get the inner disciple status faster. I just want to see who is bold enough to do such a thing." Junior sister Mei replied helplessly.

"Newbies don't know the immensity of heaven and Earth. What is there to see?" Senior sister Cao replied casually.

They had also been outer disciples and didn't think much of them.

When they were engrossed in their discussion, Wang Li walked by them without much as a hello. He didn't know them and from their uniforms, they weren't outer disciples.

Wang Li heard what they were discussing and their thoughts about outer disciples as such he didn't want to waste his time with them.

"Senior sister Cao! Is that an outer disciple? Is he among those who don't know the immensity of Heaven and earth?" Junior sister Wei said it deliberately to elicit a response.

Wang Li on the other hand didn't think much of them as such he ignored such childish indirect taunts.

His figure completely disappeared from their line of sight.

When he finally reached the peak, he realized disciples had grouped themselves in batches. Wang Li looked around and located an isolated raised rock.

"It seems that the entry will take some time. Might as well check out one of the saber skills the master gave me!" He was indeed aching to check them out.

He stood out with his outer Disciple uniform. Some inner disciples were tempted to seek trouble but seeing the purple token hanging by his waist restrained themselves.

Wang Li jumped on the rock and sat down cross-legged.

He held the saber on his thighs as he retrieved the saber manuals, he looked at them, and chose one casually.

"This one should do!" He picked up an interesting technique with seven forms. Throwing the rest back into the storage bag, he focused on reading completely unconcerned with the outside world.

Inner disciples gathered and kept watching him, but not all of them cared about him.

"Why are you guys focused so much on an outer disciple? Don't tell me it's because they decided not to wait for the assessment like you did?" An elite Inner disciple asked with disdain.

"Senior brother Long! How come you make it sound as though we are targeting outer disciples. We are just doing what is best for them. Think about it, the level of danger in the Netherworld is just too high. It's best for them to realize their place quickly and just honestly take the assessment." A sly fat guy stepped.

"Long! Do you even believe what you are saying? Get lost, don't cause trouble here! Since the sect didn't oppose this arrangement they have their own plans." Long looked at them with a sneer.
