----------

A bar belonging to the Black Organization.

Amuro Tooru walked into the private room punctually at the agreed-upon time.

Cigar smoke and alcohol hung heavily in the air.

Gin and Vodka had already arrived before him.

Gin stood with his back to the door, his iconic silver hair falling loosely, holding a glass of wine and drinking.

Vodka sat opposite him, smoking a cigar.

"Gin," Amuro Tooru walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down, "You called me so urgently, is there a new mission?"

Gin did not directly state the mission content, but instead pushed a half-full glass of wine towards him. "What's the rush, Bourbon. Not everyone has arrived yet."

Someone else is coming? It seems like a big mission.

Amuro Tooru looked at the wine glass Gin pushed over, not drinking it immediately. Instead, he habitually sniffed it, and then took a small sip.

"Low-alcohol white wine?" Amuro Tooru put down the glass and looked at Gin, "Sweet and refreshing, with fruity and floral notes. Since when did you become interested in such mild wine?"

Amuro Tooru asked casually.

He didn't believe Gin would drink such low-alcohol wine for no reason.

Within the Black Organization, codes for hard liquor generally refer to males, while low-alcohol fruit wines refer to female codes.

Did Gin suddenly order this low-alcohol wine imply the appearance of a new code-named member, and that it was a female?

"Your tongue is as sharp as ever." Gin's mouth twitched slightly. He didn't explain, only commented faintly.

Just then, the door to the bar's private room was pushed open again.

The crisp sound of high heels tapping on the ground came, Click, Click, Click.

Amuro Tooru looked in the direction of the sound, only to see Vermouth swaying gracefully as she walked in, a mysterious smile on her face.

And beside her, followed an unfamiliar young woman.

The woman was tall, with an earring in her left ear, her highlighted long hair simply tied back, and her features were delicate and beautiful.

Amuro Tooru gaze suddenly paused as he scanned her features.

This face... He had seen it!

Not now, but a long time ago, during police academy!

A blurry image flashed through Amuro Tooru mind: during a joint training session at the police academy, he had seen this girl.

She was an upperclassman. What was her name again... Jane Doe? Yes, her name was Jane Doe!

This memory was extremely vague, if he hadn't seen this face with his own eyes, he might never have remembered it!

How could she be here?! Could it be... she's also an undercover agent for the Black Organization? Who sent her?

Amuro Tooru mind was in a mess, but he remained outwardly calm.

His gaze briefly lingered on Jane Doe before shifting to Vermouth.

"Vermouth, it seems you're late."

Gin turned around, his gaze passing over Vermouth and looking at Jane Doe beside her.

"Is this the 'Muscat' you highly recommended?"

"Of course." Vermouth sat down elegantly, her posture languid, "Muscat, this is Gin, this is Vodka, and also Bourbon."

She introduced them briefly, then looked at Gin, a hint of boastfulness in her tone, "How is it, Gin? I told you she is very outstanding, the time it took her to get a code name set a new record for the Organization."

"Hmph, set a record?"

Gin let out a cold snort, scrutinizing Jane Doe.

"That word reminds me of Akai Shuichi. The speed at which he got his code name also set a record back then."

He leaned slightly forward, sniffed, and said with blatant threat:

"I seem to smell a trace of a rat on you... Muscat. I hope... my nose is mistaken. Otherwise, you will know the consequences."

Jane Doe remained neither humble nor overbearing, without any panic on her face: "Gin, you must be joking. My loyalty to the Organization is beyond doubt. Perhaps it's the smell of something else in the bar?"

Vermouth's smile sharpened.

"Gin," she added coolly, "I've heard you have your own problems lately."

"Rum mentioned a rather… interesting video involving you. Perhaps that's what's lingering in the air."

A brief silence fell, then after two seconds of silence, he decisively changed the subject.

"Let's get to business." Gin tapped the table, took out a newspaper, and pointed at a person's image on it, "Shigehiko Nomiguchi, that old man, you all know him, right?"

Everyone nodded.

Shigehiko Nomiguchi, a veteran Lawyer, highly influential in Japan.

"He is one of ours, but he's gotten into big trouble recently."

Gin's voice was filled with murderous intent.

"He's suspected of massive bribery and is being closely watched by the police. The investigation has entered a critical stage. That good-for-nothing didn't hide his tracks well. Once he's officially arrested, given his cowardly nature, he's highly likely to reveal things he shouldn't, in exchange for a reduced sentence."

He paused, his tone chilling. "So, before he can speak, we must silence him permanently."

"Pisco has already received his orders." Gin continued, "Two days from now, at the memorial service for the late director Sakamaki Akira at the Beika City Hotel, Nomiguchi will be present.

That will be the best time to act. Pisco will stage an accident to send that old man on his way."

"Pisco?" Bourbon raised an eyebrow slightly, "I remember he's Old. Can he still handle it?"

He wasn't concerned about Pisco, but rather wanted to sabotage the Black Organization's plan and have Shigehiko Nomiguchi arrested.

"That's why I called you all here."

Gin looked at Bourbon and Muscat,

"Pisco is indeed old, and I don't trust him. I need you as insurance, to blend into the memorial service. Ensure the mission is foolproof. If Pisco fails, or if any unexpected trouble arises, you will be responsible for handling it."

Vermouth took over the conversation at the opportune moment. "The security at the memorial service is not low, and invitations are strictly controlled. However, my public identity, Chris, has also received an invitation."

She looked at Jane Doe, "Muscat, you will enter the venue with me as my assistant."

"Understood." Jane Doe nodded slightly.

Amuro Tooru pondered for a moment and made a decision. "Then I'll disguise myself as a venue waiter. This identity will make it easier to move freely and observe within the venue."

"Very good." Gin picked up his wine glass with satisfaction and drained it, "That's the plan. Pisco will know your identities, and he will contact you if necessary. Remember, there is only one goal—to silence Shigehiko Nomiguchi permanently. Clean and swift. I don't want to hear any unexpected news."

His gaze swept over Bourbon and Muscat again, warning. "Two days from now, Beika City Hotel. Don't disappoint me."
