Chapter 114 - Chapter 116 The Plan Begins, The Erotic News

Chapter 116 The Plan Begins, The Erotic News

at the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters.

Aoki and Ubuyashiki Kagaya sat facing each other.

"The head of the Ubuyashiki family seems to be in good spirits today," Aoki said.

"Ms. Tamayo's medicine is very effective,"

Ubuyashiki Kagaya said with a smile, "We have to thank Mr. Aomura Kazuhiko for this."

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Aoki got down to business.

  "Is everything ready?"

Ubuyashiki Kagaya asked seriously, "Don't worry, Mr. Aomura Kazuhiko, everything is ready.

All three locations have been set up, and there are backup options near each location."

Aoki then asked, "How does the head of the Ubuyashiki family plan to spread the news?"

"How about the Erotic News?" Ubuyashiki Kagaya said.

  Aoki nodded slowly.

  "Not bad."

Gossip is human nature, and Erotic News is always the easiest topic to generate gossip.

Hiding the real information in Erotic News allows for rapid and subtle dissemination.

Ubuyashiki Kagaya asked, "Mr. Aomura Kazuhiko, is there anything else you'd like to add?"

Aoki shook his head: "Let's begin the plan!"

  ...

Muzan Kibutsuji walked alone down the street, expressionless.

The surroundings were bustling with people, incredibly noisy.

Lately, his mood had been extremely bad.

Since that monster's death, he had never experienced such a period of misfortune.

There was no news of the Blue Spider Lily, and the Ubuyashiki clan continued their relentless pestering like cockroaches.

Six of the seven Upper Moon

demons were dead. Demons were dying in droves.

Moreover, he was utterly helpless against his enemies.

It wasn't that they were particularly strong; he could easily crush them with a single step, but rather that they were like scurrying rats, impossible to catch.

His search for demons that could counter the abilities of traitors had yielded no results.

  Suddenly,

Muzan Kibutsuji stopped and turned to look at the izakaya (Japanese pub) beside the road.

The izakaya was small and not doing much business, with only two customers: a middle-aged man with a thick beard and a bald man with a greasy nose.

  "Anything interesting happening lately?"

"Interesting? What's interesting in this damn world!"

  Both were drunk, muttering curses.

  "I did hear something interesting,"

the bald man with the greasy nose burped, "Apparently, someone discovered a patch of blue flowers on the mountains north of the city!"

"Blue flowers? That's bullshit!" the bearded middle-aged man cursed, downing his drink in one gulp.

The bald man with the greasy nose grinned lewdly, "Hehehe, don't be so hasty. The blue flowers themselves aren't the real issue; the key is that there are three people near those blue flowers…hehe…"

"Three people?" the bearded middle-aged man looked up.

The bald man's grin widened, "One man, two women."

"Two bitches!" the bearded middle-aged man cursed.

The bald, bristly-nosed man suggested, "Want to take a stroll through the red-light district later?"

Muzan Kibutsuji glanced at the two indifferently, then turned and left.

There weren't many blue flowers, but there were a fair number as well.

Over the years, he had received countless intelligence reports and seen many kinds of blue flowers, but none of them were blue spider lilies.

"Let me tell you, next to those blue flowers, those three people..."

Muzan Kibutsuji paused, turning his head to look.

It was a woman speaking, huddled together with three other women, whispering amongst themselves.

Muzan Kibutsuji turned and entered a small alley.

He didn't hold out much hope for this information, but he still needed to investigate.

  A moment later...

A figure appeared, kneeling on one knee.

  "My lord!"

Muzan Kibutsuji said indifferently, "Go to the mountains north of the city and find a blue flower!"

  "Yes!"

The figure dared not ask any further questions, only daring to raise his head after Muzan Kibutsuji had left.

"Blue flower on the mountains north of the city!"

  He quickly departed.

Muzan Kibutsuji lingered some attention on this subordinate.

Although he didn't think it would be the Blue Spider Lily, what if it was?

  ...

  A day quickly passed.

"Still haven't found it!" Muzan Kibutsuji grew impatient.

  What a waste!

Not a single one is useful!

He should have sent more demons.

Just then, Muzan Kibutsuji froze, his face suddenly turning grim.

  The connection was lost.

The demon he sent to find the Blue Spider Lily was dead, killed instantly without even seeing a glimpse of the enemy.

  That demon was powerful.

To do something like this, one must either be a Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps or a defector.

A brutal killing intent flashed across Muzan Kibutsuji's face.

The Demon Slayer Corps, the deserters—one day, he would kill all that scum!

One by one, the demons arrived, lined up, and knelt before Muzan.

Once he confirmed they were all there, Muzan's arm suddenly split open, transforming into tentacles that pierced the demons' bodies.

A torrent of blood poured in, contorting the expressions of all the demons.

  "Ah!"

Suddenly, one demon's body began to uncontrollably swell and disintegrate, finally collapsing into a puddle of mud with a "bang," then turning into black smoke and disappearing.

  Muzan watched this scene coldly.

To receive his blood was an honor for these worthless trash.

Those who couldn't withstand it didn't deserve to live.

Other demons who witnessed this felt a chill run down their spines.

Unfortunately, they couldn't stop it now, even if they wanted to.

  Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three more demons succumbed, their bodies collapsing and dying.

In the end, only two of the eight demons survived.

Their auras were greatly enhanced, in no way inferior to the Lower Moon among the Twelve Demon Moons.

However, this violent method of accelerated growth caused drastic changes to the appearance of both demons.

Before receiving the blood, their appearances were largely human.

But now, one's head resembled a giant goblin, and the other had completely lost its human form, its head covered in eyes.

Their bodies were equally bizarre and twisted, completely unrecognizable as human.

Muzan Kibutsuji coldly said, "Go, bring me the blue flowers from the mountains north of the city! If you encounter any Demon Slayers, kill them all!"

Lower Moon demons were nothing to him. Only those

who could grow into Upper Moons were of any use.

Unfortunately, over the years, only six had grown to Upper Moons on their own, and now only Kokushibo remained.

  "Yes!"

The two demons' eyes were bloodshot, filled with savage killing intent.

The large amount of blood not only destroyed their bodies but also severely distorted their minds.

  Muzan Kibutsuji's figure disappeared.

The two demons also quickly ran out of the city.

Two enormous monsters squeezed out of the narrow alley and ran wildly down the street.

Fortunately, it was late at night, and there were hardly any people on the street. Only one drunkard witnessed the scene and was so frightened that he wet his pants.
