Chapter 116 - Chapter 116: Descent to the Underworld (4)

Activating Blade Dance, I moved as if I were performing a choreography, lopping off the heads of three administrators in an instant.

"To think they'd challenge me with just this much... it's truly laughable... isn't it?"

[Guegh... Gehk... Aaaargh!!!]

An administrator trying to ambush me from behind launched an attack, but it was easily blocked by my Limitless. Soon after, his entire body was carved into seventeen pieces by the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.

"Whew... even with the Great Sage's support, it's tough in many ways without the Six Eyes..."

I could somehow use Limitless with the Great Sage's support, but it was only just barely usable. There were still issues with fine-tuning the manipulation and the amount of cursed energy consumed, which was a shame in many respects.

"Now then... shall we keep going?"

Looking at the countless administrators and a few Cerberuses charging from afar, I let out a smirk and raised my mana.

[Activating Skill: Giant's Right Arm LV 1.]

The right arm, expanding at a rapid pace, became as massive as the actual arm of a Giant.

[The Giants sealed in Tartarus take notice of your presence.]

[The judges of the Underworld are appalled by your mana.]

"Now... let's see you try your best to dodge this..."

Soon, my massive and sturdy Giant's Right Arm slammed down onto the administrators of Tartarus.

[W-What kind of monster is that...]

[Is that truly the power of a newly-born Constellation...]

[This... is impossible for us...]

They were Aeacus of Mercy and Justice, Minos of Wisdom and Legislation, and Rhadamanthus of Strictness and Integrity.

They were the judges of the Underworld responsible for judging souls entering the realm. While all the judges were Fable-grade constellations, they hadn't built up the status of a Fable themselves; rather, they maintained their Fable-grade status by borrowing the status of the Hades couple.

They were currently aghast at the battle before their eyes. No, to be precise, it wasn't a battle—it was nothing more than a one-sided massacre.

As his fist slammed into the ground, Tartarus shook, and cracks began to form in the bedrock and walls. Seeing this, the administrators grew frantic and desperately tried to stop him.

However, he suddenly vanished without a trace, only to reappear behind the administrators, shredding them with daggers so large they could be called swords.

Every single attack he swung struck the administrators' vital points, and the daggers he threw pierced their hearts with pinpoint accuracy.

"Return."

With those words, the daggers returned to his hands, pulled by an invisible force.

"Winds, howl!"

At his command, a powerful wind began to swirl around him. Soon, the wind turned into a massive tornado that spat out sharp blades.

[Kuaaaargh!!!]

Dozens more administrators began to die under that attack. Unable to watch any longer, a Cerberus bared its teeth and lunged at him, but—

"Shut it!"

"K-Kai!"

It was immediately punched in the head and knocked unconscious.

On top of that, one administrator managed to close the distance and swing a weapon, but the attack couldn't reach him due to some strange force. Another administrator managed to land a hit, but the attack didn't even work properly because of his monstrous endurance.

"Ah... I'm starting to... get bored..."

As he muttered that, black flames gathered in his hands, which had suddenly increased in number. The black flames then flew out in all directions. Countless administrators hit by those flames were helplessly burned to death, scattering as ashes in the wind.

The biggest problem was that this madman was just destroying everything in sight, meaning even the sinners within Tartarus were being caught in the crossfire.

Boom! Bang!! Ka-boom!!!

Explosions went off all over Tartarus.

[The structure of Tartarus is becoming unstable.]

[The Giants slumbering from ancient times take notice of the anomaly in Tartarus.]

[A large number of constellations are watching the Underworld.]

Fearing the worst-case scenario, the three judges immediately rushed toward him. And then—

[Gugh!]

[Kehk!]

[Aaargh!!]

In an instant, they were struck by his attacks and sent rolling across the floor or smashed into the walls.

[The constellation Queen of the Darkest Spring is looking at Tartarus.]

Seeing that Tartarus had turned into a complete mess, Persephone realized that things would get truly out of hand if she left it any longer, and she moved quickly.
