Chrollo, still blissfully unaware that danger was creeping up on him, was sitting on the deck trying his best to keep it together.
I'm rich. I'm actually, filthy rich!

As expected of a high-stakes mission like stealing the Heavenly Tribute—it netted him 100,000 points in one go!
Chrollo spotted some Troupe members on deck and kept his face a mask of stoic calm. He walked back to the captain's quarters with steady steps, completely ignoring Bonney as she tried to say hi.
The members watched him pass and nodded in silent approval. The Boss is as steady as ever, they thought. A world-shaking event just happened, and he doesn't even blink.
Once he was inside and the door was double-locked, Chrollo's face split into a grin that practically reached his ears. Finally, he could let out a real laugh!
"Ha… ha—"
Knock, knock, knock!
The laughter died instantly. Chrollo's face went flat. He opened the door to find Bonney leaning against it.
"What is it?"
"Did you really pull it off?! Did you actually steal the Tribute?!" Bonney was so excited she was practically vibrating.
Chrollo gave a short nod and shut the door.
"Ha… ha—"
Knock, knock, knock!
A vein twitched on his forehead. Chrollo swung the door open. It was Uvogin.
"I heard there's good booze this time?"
Chrollo reached into his [Fun Fun Cloth], pulled out a bottle of premium sake, handed it over, and slammed the door again.
"Ha… ha—"
Knock, knock, knock!
Chrollo's face was turning darker by the second. He opened the door to find Shalnark standing there.
"Boss, I was hoping to get some of those raw materials from the locals for research."
Chrollo handed him some of the ores from the third ship and asked tonelessly, "Anyone else?"
"Nope, just me."
"Good."
Slam. The door shut.
Then it flew open again immediately. Chrollo stood there and told Shalnark, "By the way, tell everyone else not to bother me unless it's an emergency. I have… important things to think about."
Shalnark nodded solemnly, thinking the Boss was already plotting their next move, and hurried away. Finally, peace and quiet.
"A-HAHAHAHAHA!"
His laughter echoed through the room. Eventually, he turned it into a muffled chuckle so no one outside would hear him.
I've really hit the jackpot this time—

Chrollo's eyes were practically glowing. The shop didn't disappoint!
The famous blade Shigure? Perfect for replacing Nobunaga's current weapon. You can't get far as a swordsman in the pirate world without a legendary blade. Bought!
Armament Haki? Absolute must-have. He was right—"Ko" is basically a prerequisite for Haki. Once he learns it, he can teach the rest of the Troupe. To survive on these seas, they need a way to actually hurt Logia users. 80,000 points is a steal. Bought!
Treasure Tree Adam fragments? Just what he needs to upgrade the Black Whale so they can mount the Sea Prism Stone. Plus, every Pirate King needs a ship made of this stuff. Bought!
As for the last two… what the hell? How many zeros is that? A million points for a pair of panties? He'd have to take down an entire Emperor's crew just to afford that. Being a man of high moral character, Chrollo obviously had zero interest in something like that.
The last item was the manga, "Sora, Warrior of the Sea." A pirate world comic? Pfft, kids' stuff, he thought while immediately hitting the buy button. He'd never admit he just wanted to read it. He was buying it to "analyze the underlying cultural influence on the world's youth." Yeah, that sounds right.
By the time he was done, his hard-earned 120,000 points had dwindled down to a measly 2,500. It hurt, but he was happy.
While Chrollo was on his spending spree, Tashigi was waking up on a Marine warship about five hundred nautical miles away. She fumbled around her bedside until she finally found her glasses under the bed. She put them on, restoring her vision—and her beauty.
She reached under her pillow, but her eyes suddenly went wide. All traces of sleepiness vanished.
"Where's my sword?!"
Meanwhile, at a certain floating restaurant in the East Blue, a young man named Sanji was shouting at the top of his lungs.
"Where's my comic book?!"
