Chapter 89: The True Identity and the War of Light
The envoy of the gods, named Lilian, hovered in the center of the vault, her brilliant white wings illuminating the darkness. She looked down at Volt and sneered, "You, a mere student named 'Von,' how dare you lay a finger on the Demon King's relic? This blade belongs only to the Heavens!"
Volt pulled back his hood, revealing his true countenance as his eyes flared with the intensity of hellfire. "I adopted a name to toy with your fragile minds, but the game is over. My name is not 'Von'... I am Volt, the sovereign you feared a millennium ago."
Lilian's face drained of color. "Volt? Impossible! You were eradicated!" She raised her staff, unleashing thousands of crystalline light-arrows directed straight at him.

Volt didn't flinch. As the arrows neared his frame, they vanished as if striking an invisible void-shield. "Is this the extent of your divinity?" Volt stepped forward, his hand finally closing around the hilt of his lost blade, the Void Reaper.
The moment his fingers touched the cold metal, a cataclysmic explosion of black and violet energy rocked the entire Academy. The mana-chains shattered into dust, and the blade let out a triumphant hum in Volt's grip.
Aki and Rena watched the terrifying display from the shadows. Aki whispered, "Sai, don't you think our Lord has become... a bit too terrifying?"
Sai didn't answer; he simply dropped to one knee. He knew the True King had finally returned.
Volt turned toward Lilian, resting the massive blade on his shoulder. "Go back to Artemis and tell her... Volt has returned to reclaim the crown built upon his blood."
