Chapter 083 Conflict in the Restaurant, the Fake Gyaru Group is Truly Too Weak

Hikigaya left his room a bit late, and by the time he arrived, most of the students were already seated in the restaurant.

The first floor was a large buffet restaurant offering all kinds of food, focusing on quantity and filling everyone up. Hikigaya found it too noisy, so he went up to the second floor. It was a high-end Western restaurant where the environment was supposed to be relatively quiet... right?

"Wow! Cutting steak on the spot, it feels so high-class!"

"Looking at these prices, they definitely aren't cheap. You don't think they'll send us an astronomical bill afterward, do you?"

"Stay calm. Look, people from other classes are eating too, it'll be fine."

The three speakers were the "Fake Gyaru Group" from Class D: Karuizawa Kei, Sato Maya, and Matsushita Chiaki.

Originally, there was also Shinohara Satsuki, but since the latter had grown close to Ike Kanji, her relationship with Karuizawa and the others had become more distant.

"The menu is all in English. What do we do if we can't read it?" Sato Maya held the English menu, looking completely bewildered and at a loss.

"How should I know? My English is barely at a passing grade," Karuizawa Kei replied, also looking like she had a headache.

"..."

Matsushita Chiaki's eyes flickered slightly.

Coming from a wealthy family, her foreign language skills were quite good; a mere English menu naturally wouldn't trouble her. The problem was that she was intentionally hiding her true level to keep a low profile. If she stepped up now, wouldn't everything be exposed?

"Hey! You people, you're from Class D, aren't you?"

The person speaking in a reprimanding tone was none other than Totsuka Yahiko from Class A. He was elegantly cutting his steak while nonchalantly scrutinizing the Karuizawa group.

"So what if we are?" Karuizawa Kei raised an eyebrow, sensing a hint of malice in his tone.

"Listen well. This isn't a place where trash like you from Class D can come," Totsuka Yahiko mocked superciliously.

"Huh? This shouldn't have anything to do with which class we're in, right?" Karuizawa Kei furrowed her brows.

"Gyaru bitches are better suited for eating junk food. Scram back and eat a hamburger." Totsuka Yahiko's words were sharp; his mindset belonged to the classic conservative faction,

strongly rejecting anything "non-mainstream." Therefore, he held a natural hostility toward Karuizawa Kei and the others dressed in gyaru fashion.

"...!"

Karuizawa Kei was suddenly incensed. What did he mean by "bitch"? She was clearly still a virgin, okay?!

"Calm down, Kei. Most of the people here are Class A students," Matsushita Chiaki whispered, scanning the surroundings to remind her.

"Kei, maybe we should just go eat somewhere else..." Sato Maya looked timid.

There was no helping it; fakes are just that weak.

At that moment, a discordant voice suddenly rang out.

"Yahiko, you're being naughty again. Eating shit without wiping your mouth, spraying it everywhere."

An opening statement that was maxed out on aggression! It successfully grabbed the attention of all the Class A students in the restaurant.

"Hikigaya-kun?!"

The eyes of the three girls in Karuizawa's group lit up, as if they had seen a savior.

"It's you and those dead-fish eyes again!" When enemies meet, their eyes blaze with hatred. Totsuka Yahiko was furious.

"I told you, you aren't allowed to just call me by my name!!"

"I truly hope you can change your name. The name 'Totsuka' is really a waste on you," Hikigaya suggested seriously.

"You bastard!"

Now it was Totsuka Yahiko's turn to reach a "red-temp" boiling point on the spot. He stood up, wanting to get into a scuffle with Hikigaya.

"Stop it, Yahiko! Even though we are on vacation, we might still have points deducted based on our lifestyle attitudes," Katsuragi Kohei lectured with righteous indignation. At the end of his sentence, he gave Hikigaya a deep, meaningful look. "Have more self-awareness as an elite of Class A. Don't fall for someone else's provocation so easily."

"..."

Totsuka Yahiko immediately lowered his head and admitted his mistake submissively, like a child who had done something wrong.

Hikigaya casually picked an empty seat and sat down, giving a look to the three girls who were still standing there blankly. "Aren't you going to sit down and eat?"

"No, after something like that happened, how could we have the face to stay..."

Just as Karuizawa Kei was about to refuse, Matsushita Chiaki beside her actually agreed without a second thought. "Yeah, then thank you, Hikigaya-kun."

Matsushita Chiaki sat down next to Hikigaya without being polite.

"Likewise." Hikigaya returned a "you know what I mean" look to her.

'Eh? Eh?! What's going on now?' Karuizawa Kei was totally confused.

Sato Maya, on the other hand, didn't think much of it. After letting out a long sigh of relief, she laughed broadly. "Hikigaya-kun is so amazing! You took care of that arrogant Class A guy in just a few sentences!"

"Just lucky, that's all." Hikigaya looked indifferent and didn't bother to explain.

The Evening Meeting

After the lavish lunch ended, the three girls invited him to go to karaoke. Hikigaya decisively refused. Since there was no homework to do, why go to a karaoke room? Given the free time, he would rather go back to his room to read or play games.

And that is exactly what he did... lying flat in his room until evening.

Only then did Hikigaya leave his room, still wanting more, to go to the restaurant to find food. After enjoying dinner alone, he originally intended to go back to his room to continue lying down.

However, his phone received an emergency message from Kushida Kikyo.

Following the directions in the message, Hikigaya arrived at a secluded protrusion on the deck. A few extra-long fishing rods remained in a wooden barrel on the ground, suggesting this area was intended for guest fishing services, though it had been abandoned for some reason; even the streetlights on the pier were not lit.

"Hikigaya, you're here." Kushida Kikyo stood in the dim shadows; her calm voice sounded a bit eerie.

"Coming all the way to a place like this... Kushida, you couldn't hold it in anymore, could you?" Hikigaya hit the nail on the head regarding her thoughts.

"Ah, yeah...!" Kushida Kikyo stepped forward quickly. "I feel like I'm about to explode!"

It looked like she planned to kick the railing violently, just like last time.

"I suggest you calm down a bit." Hikigaya quickly spread his arms to block her. Although the cruise was large, students from all four classes were wandering around; there was no guarantee someone wouldn't appear nearby.

"I can't... calm down at all!

Do you know?

That idiot Yamauchi actually confessed to me in public! He even specifically brought a group of people to cheer him on, trying to use the atmosphere to coerce me into agreeing..."

Kushida Kikyo's face grew darker as she spoke.

Hikigaya instinctively asked, "So, did you agree?"

"DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!"

Kushida Kikyo's expression suddenly became terrifying. Hikigaya retracted his question in a split second. "Okay, I take it back."

"Disgusting!

Pah!

He should take a piss and look at his own reflection!" Kushida Kikyo cursed through gritted teeth.

However, verbal abuse alone wasn't enough to fully vent the irritation in her heart. She still wanted to kick something...

"Absolutely not! Bang bang bang—the noise is too loud. It'll easily attract other people's attention." Hikigaya used his body to protect the poor railing-kun.

"Hikigaya-kun~~ (^O^)~~"

Seeing Kushida Kikyo's face suddenly shift into a gentle smile in a split second, Hikigaya felt an extremely bad sensation!

"Wait?!

You aren't going to..." Hikigaya's face was full of horror.

"Don't worry~ I'll take off my shoes~~"
