Silence.
The enormous tavern fell into a deathly stillness.
Over a hundred pirates stared blankly, eyes bulging, their faces twisted with fear and disbelief.
Their gazes were glued to the man lying like a dead mutt on the floor—
Bellamy.
Just seconds ago…
These pirates were full of confidence, convinced these intruders were doomed.
But now…
They were struck dumb.
It was too brutal.
Bellamy—
their boss, a Devil Fruit user, a 30-million-Berry pirate, the feared "Hyena"—
had been one-shot.
They could not comprehend it.
A Devil Fruit user?
A high-bounty pirate?
Defeated instantly by… a boy?
Impossible.
Unscientific!
But the crater in the floor didn't lie.
The blood pooling beneath Bellamy didn't lie.
Their leader really had been annihilated in a single move.
"D-Did I hallucinate…?"
Some pirates pinched their thighs.
Pain shot through them.
Not a dream.
"Bellamy… Bellamy-boss was… one-shotted…!"
"Completely crushed…"
"It wasn't a fight—he was executed!"
The pirates trembled like frightened animals.
Bellamy, whom they thought was untouchable in East Blue, had been folded like paper.
If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes, they would never believe it.
But reality was right in front of them—
Bellamy lay half-buried in the floor, broken and bleeding.
Hack exhaled, shaking his head at the sight.
"Wasn't even strong… yet insisted on showing off so much. All that build-up, just to get one-shot… embarrassing."
Why add so much dramatic flair if the end result was the same?
A complete waste of time.
Hack suddenly frowned.
Hopefully Bellamy wasn't dead—
They still needed someone to interrogate.
Ryukawa released Bellamy's skull and looked around, sweeping the room with calm, cold eyes.
"Only one needs to stay alive."
"The rest…"
"Kill them all. No witnesses, no leaks."
His voice was flat—
but it struck every pirate like a knife to the spine.
Ryukawa lifted his wooden sword.
And then—
Massacre began.
His wooden blade darkened, Armament Haki coating it like obsidian armor, radiating a chilling sharpness.
One man. One sword.
That was all he needed.
"No—! NO!"
"Spare me! I'll pay you—!"
"Please—!!"
Their cries went unanswered.
Heads flew in clean arcs, blood mist spraying across the tavern.
Some heads spun several full rotations before hitting the ground.
SPLAT.
SPLAT.
SPLAT.
Blood rained.
Sword aura tore through the room, piercing walls, furniture, even the ceiling.
Sunlight streamed through the holes Ryukawa had casually carved into the tavern.
When the slaughter ended…
Corpses.
Corpses everywhere.
Blood pooled on the floor like a red tide.
The tavern—once noisy and lively—was nothing but a silent graveyard.
Ryukawa calmly flicked his blade.
Blood dripped off the edge, rolling down into the gore-soaked floor.
Standing among hundreds of fresh corpses…
His clothes remained spotless.
He looked like a death god who had walked through hell—
and emerged untouched.
Hack felt his scalp tingle.
"This kid… is a real monster."
"Killing over a hundred pirates without blinking… and every strike was aimed to kill. Fast, ruthless, decisive…"
"How did that gentle dojo master end up teaching a disciple with such a terrifying killing instinct?"
Even as a battle-hardened revolutionary warrior, the sight left Hack's heart pounding.
