Victor frowned slightly, taking it as if it were nothing more than another work call. He listened for a few seconds, his expression turning colder and more serious. His voice dropped, calm but commanding, as he quickly gave several instructions.
"I'll be there in a while," he said at last. "Have someone wait in the reception room."
Then he hung up.
Isabella was still slightly stunned. She hadn't invited Victor to the art exhibition at all. His appearance today had been completely unexpected… and the chaos that followed was even more unexpected.
Victor lifted his gaze and swept his eyes around the reception room. His tone was polite, but the pressure behind it was undeniable.
"I'll borrow your person-in-charge for a few minutes."
