Armed with the life-draining katana Shadowfang, an enchanted pistol, and an arsenal of void magic, he stalks the night alone—until the surges grow too organized, too intelligent, to be random. When whispers of a long-sealed, lich-ascended Necromancer reach the streets, the Hunter's Guild issues its highest bounty yet: a Tier S contract worth millions. Chapter 1 - Into the Depths

Rain poured down on the neon-lit streets of Neo-Eldoria.

Malcolm pulled his hood lower, his red eyes scanning the dark alley. He checked his phone. The Guild message glowed: Zombie nest in Sector 7 subway. 5,000 credits.

Malcolm: Credits are credits.

He dropped into the abandoned tunnel. His elven sight cut through the darkness. Moans echoed ahead.

Three zombies shambled out—a former cop, a businessman, and a kid.

Malcolm: "A kid? This city never stops."

The cop-zombie charged. Malcolm dodged, drawing Shadowfang.

Malcolm: Shadow strike!

The blade sliced clean through its neck. The businessman lunged next. An enchanted bullet from Malcolm's pistol exploded its chest. The kid-zombie hesitated, moaning softly.

Malcolm: Sorry. Rest now.

A void arrow from his hand ended it quickly.

The ground shook. A massive alpha zombie burst from the wall—stitched horrors, bone spikes, glowing core.

Alpha Zombie: "FLESH... MAGIC... CONSUME!"

Malcolm: "Finally, something worth the bounty."

He vanished into shadows. The alpha swung, smashing concrete. Malcolm reappeared behind it and drove Shadowfang deep. The alpha grabbed him, slamming him against the wall.

Malcolm: (coughing blood) "Enough games. Umbra vortex!"

Shadows swirled, crushing the beast. Malcolm fired his pistol. The core shattered, and the alpha crumbled to dust.

Malcolm: "Hunt over."

His phone buzzed: Bounty claimed + bonus.

Malcolm: (smirking) Back to the streets.
