Mary nodded. "Yes."
Olivia was frozen in shock again. "How?" She didn't understand what was happening. Summoning? Superpower?
Right then, Cleo, sitting nearby, couldn't help chiming in, "Hurry up and eat. Master made it herself."
Who exactly was this Miss Mary? Some sort of alien, like Superman? Or some woman with a superpower, as those fantasy fictions depict? Her head spun in confusion and a myriad of thoughts. However, she kept her thoughts to herself and continued to eat, knowing that if they were a part of some secret society, it was better for her to just accept it and not question too much.
Olivia forced herself to calm down. She slowly got off the bed, sat across from Mary, and picked up the bowl.
The first bite made her eyes sting.
It was delicious. The most delicious meal she had ever eaten in her entire life.
