****Yuri's POV*****

Adrian dropped the files on the table with a dull thud.

A lot of files. Too many for something that was supposed to be simple.

"Sit," he said. "And don't interrupt me."

I already failed at that.

I picked up the first file before he even finished speaking.

Inside were photos of Sienna and her father. Old ones. New ones. Some looked like they were taken without them knowing. Another page followed. Documents. Locations. Dates.

Her father's last known place before his death. The memory of that day made my fists clench.

Adrian leaned back. "Keifer thinks Sienna is up to something," he said casually, but I felt the weight of it immediately.

"She is" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm.

Adrian replied. "But let me finish." He shifted, opening another folder. "Also… when Keifer went to Sienna's house, he went to a room. One room. And it had pictures… pictures of Keifer, Jay, you, and basically all of Section E. He was shocked."

"And not just pinned," Adrian continued. "Some of them were crossed out. With red paint."

That made my blood go cold.

I tapped the table. "Red paint means obsession. Or revenge."

I froze, a chill running down my spine. That explained a lot of Keifer's strange behavior lately.

"Whyyyy," I muttered.

Adrian didn't look fazed. "Yes, and there's more. Keifer also thinks Sienna's father looks familiar. You've seen the family photo? That's why he keeps bringing it up."

I nodded slowly, connecting the dots.

I leaned back, rubbing my jaw. "Jay only said one thing. That Sienna's dad looked familiar. That's all she knows."

"Yes," Adrian replied. "But Keifer knows more."

I looked up. "Of course he does."

Adrian raised a finger. "May I continue?"

"Continue," I said, leaning forward, hungry for every detail.

"He saw Sienna holding Jay's phone the day Jay went missing. He also knows Jay didn't push Sienna during the vacation incident. Keifer… he thinks her plan is working. That she's manipulating everything, making herself look innocent."

Adrian nodded. "Exactly. But here's the problem… Keifer doesn't know the full picture yet."

I smirked, a plan forming.

I went to the bed where Keifer was sleeping, mouth slightly open. A mischievous idea hit me. I grabbed a glass of water, quickly poured pepper into it, and walked back.

I knelt beside him, opened his mouth, and poured half the glass into him.

Less than a second later, Keifer shot upright, coughing, eyes blinking wildly. Seeing the glass still in my hand, he grabbed it and drank the rest, thinking it was normal water.

I started laughing uncontrollably. 😆

Keifer stormed to the kitchen. "Where's the real water?" he shouted, grabbed another glass, and drank it quickly.

He turned back, confused, pointing at me. "What was that?!"

I smirked. "Water."

"I… I've never drunk spicy water before!" he said, slapping his chest.

"It's only for people like you," I said.

Keifer froze, staring at me, then muttered, "I guess you know everything."

I laughed again, shaking my head.

Meanwhile, Adrian had finally had enough. "I'm going," he said.

"That's all?" I asked.

"Yes. I have class in 30 minutes. Please, don't bother me again."

I ruffled his hair, and he sighed, nodding once before leaving.

I looked around the room. Two empty beer bottles sat on the table. Keifer was clearly exhausted still mumbling nonsense under his breath.

I glanced at him, red paint and crossed-out pictures in mind. My thoughts drifted to Sienna.

"She's up to something… isn't she?" I murmured.

Adrian's words echoed in my head as I watched Keifer slump back onto the couch: the day after Keifer went to Sienna's house, everything had started.

And now… we were only beginning to understand how deep her plan really ran. 🩸💧
