Chapter 75 - Chapter 71 — The Smile Behind the Frame

Sienna's POV

I didn't stay long at the university.

There was no reason to.

Everything that needed to be set in motion already was.

By the time I got home, the house felt the same as always. Quiet. Polished. Heavy with memories that refused to stay buried. I slipped out of my shoes and walked in just as Jeff, my father's assistant, stepped through the side door.

Right on time.

He bowed his head slightly. "Miss Sienna."

I smiled. "You're late."

"Traffic," he replied carefully.

I waved it off and sat down, crossing my legs. "It doesn't matter. Everything is moving smoothly."

His eyes sharpened with interest. "So the plan is progressing?"

I nodded, slow and satisfied. "Very well. Section E is already cracking. They just don't know it yet."

Jeff hesitated. "And Jayjay?"

My fingers curled slightly. "Confused. Hurt. Exactly where I want her."

"And Keifer?"

That made me laugh. Soft. Almost fond.

"He's easier than I expected."

Jeff said nothing. He never did when I smiled like this.

After a while, I stood and walked toward the hallway, stopping in front of the large family photo hanging proudly on the wall.

My father stood there. Strong. Untouchable. Alive.

I stared at his face for a long moment.

"Don't worry, Dad," I whispered. "I'll avenge you."

The words tasted sweet.

"I'll make the whole so-called Section E pay dearly. You would still be here if it weren't for Keifer and Jayjay." My voice hardened. "I'll separate them. I'll destroy their little family from the inside."

The house stayed silent. It always listened.

Behind me, footsteps approached.

"Miss," a man said nervously, keeping his eyes low. "The package has been delivered."

I didn't turn. "Good job."

I finally glanced over my shoulder. "You may see Jeff for your payment."

Relief flooded his face. He bowed quickly and left.

Perfect.

I went upstairs to my room.

Walls covered in photos.

The boys of Section E. Smiling. Laughing. Protecting each other.

And in the center, the one that mattered most.

Jayjay and Keifer.

I picked it up slowly.

Then I took the knife from my desk.

The blade was cold. Steady.

With one clean motion, I drew a sharp line between them.

You don't belong together, I thought, smiling softly.

And I'll make sure you never do.

The picture fluttered slightly in my hand.

So did my satisfaction 🔪📸✨
