After another hour went by, the doorbell rang.
West opened it and paused...
Nina stood there holding three framed paintings.
She had said one initially but she was hoarding three...
West found that interesting.
She wore a soft cream blouse tucked neatly into a high-waisted navy skirt that ended mid-thigh. Her massive watermelons perked out from underneath the blouse, pushing against the fabric like they were imprisoned in a space too small to hold them.
The skirt hugged her hips before flaring slightly. Black stockings traced the length of her legs, and ankle boots completed the look.
Her hair fell neatly over her shoulders, slightly curled at the ends.
She looked… breathtaking. There was no doubt that effort had gone into this.
West stepped aside.
"Come in."
She walked in carefully, placing the paintings against the wall.
He studied them briefly.
Three different pieces... all abstract—but all carried faint, recognizable silhouettes.
West's smirk deepened.
