The moment the gun fired, runners exploded forward.
West on the other hand, pushed himself forward and the world slowed.
His first step tore into the track...
On his second step, he accelerated explosively.
By the time the others hit their third stride, West was already two meters ahead.
Gasps erupted from the stands.

He leaned forward slightly, maintaining controlled breathing as his body shot forward by nearly eight feet any time he took a step.
His stride length was longer and by the first curve, he was five meters ahead.
By the second straight, the gap widened further.
