Two teenagers stood side by side, framed by a smooth marble backdrop emblazoned with a discreet but unmistakable crest of one of the city's oldest mafia families.
They were twins.
The boy stood on the left and he was pretty tall for his age with a straight and unstiff posture. His black hair was neatly combed back with a single loose strand falling across his forehead as if deliberately left there.
His face was sharp and well-defined with high cheekbones, narrow eyes, and a calm expression that made him look older than seventeen.
There was no smile but he looked quite confident.
He wore a fitted dark suit with his hands clasped behind his back and gaze directed slightly downward toward the camera like he was already used to people looking up at him. The faint glow in his eyes which was barely visible, hinted at dormant power held carefully in check.
The kind of person who didn't need to raise his voice to be obeyed.
Then the camera shifted slightly.
The girl stood beside him.
West froze with his food in his mouth the moment he saw her face...
She was… striking.
She had long deep silvery-black hair, that cascaded over one shoulder in smooth waves, framing a face that seemed almost unfairly refined. Her eyes were bright and piercing, a cool displaying a calculating gaze that carried intelligence and quiet amusement in equal measure.
Her lips curved into a faint cold smile that made West a little suspicious.
She wore a tailored uniform jacket modified just enough to accentuate her figure without crossing into excess.
She was utterly stunning and hot.
West stared for a moment longer than he meant to.
Then scoffed quietly and looked away.
"Different world," he muttered.
Their powers were announced—impressive, of course—and the anchor spoke reverently about their future.
West turned the TV off.
He didn't feel jealousy.
Just more… motivation.
Besides, this was the mafia... somehow they always had awakened individuals. The chances of being awakened worldwide was like 1 to a 100,000 and yet, every single person in the mafia family was awakened unless they were underaged.
That couldn't he coincidence.
West decided to throw all that to the back of his mind for now.
He headed to his room and lay back on his bed, staring at the ceiling.
Tomorrow, he'd flirt more.
Tomorrow, he'd push further.
Tomorrow, he'd hunt CP.
Just as his eyes began to close—
The system suddenly tinged.
<[ Achievement Unlocked: Complete Your First Quest ]>
West jolted upright in astonishment.
[ Rewards Granted => ]

His heart pounded.
"+5 added to all substats? And a new skill?" he whispered.
He swiftly checked the system panel and scrolled down to Sub stats.

West was in awe. They all really did increase.
However, he didn't feel any much different but he believed this was enough increment to really test whether the Cuckhold system was real or it was all in his head.
West jumped to his feet, and looked around.
"If my strength was at a 2 before and now its at 7, it should mean I have more than twice the strength now..." West was well aware that he wasn't physically fit right from time but an increment like this would no doubt have a difference if it was real.
He proceeded to head to the living room to look for something heavy to lift.
He looked around... the TV? The dining table? The vase?
None of them were suitable.
His eyes then flicked to the three seater sofa.
"Perhaps this will do..." West proceeded to place his fingers at the base and lifted with all his strength.
The entire sofa came rushing up in an instant, so quickly that it nearly tipped over.
"Woah..." West froze and pulled it back down before it could.
He stared at his hands in shock. "No way... I couldn't do that before... not without help..."
Although, he had been playing along with the system since he got it a week back, there was still a feeling of doubt as any sane person would have.
The only reason he gave the system the benefit of the doubt was because there was already the existence of awakened—people with supernatural powers, so it wasn't exactly crazy to suddenly get a system.
Now this was proof that it was all real...
West proceeded to head back to his room and jumped onto his bed gleefully.
He checked the system notification again.
<[ New Skill Unlocked ]>
It was time to find out what the new skill was...
...
...
The weekend passed faster than West expected.
Not because it was fun.
Because it was busy.
For the first time in his life, West Einstein treated improvement like a task instead of a hope. He didn't just scroll aimlessly or lie on his bed staring at the ceiling.
He read, watched and practiced.
Books on confidence.
Articles on body language.
Videos breaking down tone, posture, eye contact.
He learned what not to do just as much as what to do. Learned that flirting wasn't about lines... it was about timing. That confidence wasn't volume... it was stillness. That people reacted less to what you said and more to how you occupied space.
And in between all of that, he shopped intentionally.
Clothes that fit properly. Colors that contrasted instead of blending. Layers that added presence instead of bulk. He learned how fabric moved when he walked. How a longer coat changed the way people looked at him before they even processed his face.
By Monday morning, West didn't feel like a different person.
He felt like a clearer one.
When he stepped through the school gates, more heads turned in surprise.
Today, West wore a long open black coat over his uniform. The fabric swayed faintly with each step, drawing attention without screaming for it. His hair was styled sharper than before and the white-tinted strands caught the morning light just enough to stand out.
He walked like he knew where he was going and that alone made people look twice.
"…Did he get taller?"
"No way, right?"
"Wait—was he always that—"
What they didn't know was that something subtle but meaningful had shifted.
The five points added to all stats that the system rewarded him with was the reason.
Five points wasn't overwhelming.
It didn't turn him into a god.
Didn't make people fall over themselves.
But it had effect...
His charm was higher.
His aura carried more weight.
His confidence didn't waver as easily.
Small improvements... but visible ones.
Enough that a girl standing near the lockers stared a second too long.
She walked straight into a pillar.
The dull thump echoed through the hallway.
"Ow—!"
Her face flushed bright red as she tilted backward, completely losing her balance.
Before anyone else reacted, a hand shot out and caught her.
The hand had a firm grip with the arm steadying her shoulder and bracing her back just enough to keep her upright without pulling her closer than necessary.
"Careful," West said smoothly.
Her eyes widened.
"Oh—! I—I'm sorry," she stammered as her cheeks burnt. "I wasn't—"
"You're fine," West replied, gently straightening her posture before stepping back. "Just watch where you're going."
She nodded quickly. "Th-thank you."
As she hurried off, still flustered, West didn't notice the ripple he'd caused.
Other girls had seen it.
The timing.
The composure.
The way he hadn't made it awkward.
Whispers followed him again but this time, they sounded different.
"Since when did he become hot?"
"Was he always like that?"
"Am I crazy or—"
Caleb arrived just in time to hear it and his mood soured instantly.
