Chapter 4: Exploring new Powers
"I didn't know I had an underground area where I could test if I have power or not." I said to no one in particular. After having the meal Martha left to take care of the company as today she was supposed to take 2 rounds of interviews with a few candidates which I wasn't interested in.
And from Jotaro's memory there was an underground facility where his step mother had created a bunker if something unforeseeable happens.
So today I was exploring that. "In a world where humanity resisted the attempts to be eradicated or wiped out by entities, humans can wield power like god. It will be a disappointment if I have no powers."
Picking a bottle of soft drink and opening it up I drank some of it as I walked down my throat feeling dry. "Focus on this." I muttered and put the bottle on the ground, my closed eyes and mind concentrated to feel anything.
He waited for a sign. Specifically any sign. But nothing happened. Second turn minutes and minutes to hour. He used his mind, intended, any vibe or sensation but nothing came out or nothing happened.
'I gave up for today.' I thought about it and started to play music to lighten the mood. "Perhaps, when it is an extreme situation I can unlock my power if I have them in the first place." I, being an optimistic person, said to myself and hit the music.
"I always knew where I stood" I repeated the lyrics of the random music my phone started playing.
"I tried to be so good" The base hit me hard.
"Look at me now" Even the melody was perfect.
"I don't know how" I nodded my head and danced a little.
"But I'm a real hero" I snapped my finger once, as I felt like it.
"Huh? What was that?" I ended the music and closed my phone as I noticed the bottle was changed from a 3D object to 2D into the ground in the form of painting with some graffiti.
"That's strange." I muttered in fascination and looked at the packet of chips lying on the floor. With another snap I thought what happened a few seconds ago would happen again.
But no. "What the hell, it's gone." This time the pack vanished completely and I don't know where. "Can…can I manipulate dimension's." I speculated with the best of my analysis based on what just happened.
"I should try again." I didn't have enough experience or understanding of my power so I can't reach a conclusion of what my power is yet so the best thing right now would be to use it as much as possible to grasp what it is without harming myself.

This time the packet of chips was back in my hands and the cold drink bottle was also back in 3D form, things were making no sense for me but one thing was sure I could control the dimension to some degree.
With that said for the next few hours I spend on figuring out the powers nonstop. I didn't take any breaks or touch my phone away from all distractions.
Few hours later:
"This shit is unbelievable, I need to name both of my supernatural abilities something good…." I claimed calmly, because of the previous 8 hours of exploring I fortunately unlocked 2 abilities.
It was a complete coincidence, or perhaps the requirement for unlocking other power was to learn about the first one.
"I will call the first one, 4th Dimension. As it allows me to manipulate four different dimensions in any manner I like." I said thinking about the usage of the first power.
"The second one will be Aura. The power to manipulate and manifest aura as some sort of energy but for a limited amount of time compared to the 4th dimension which works on stamina." I differentiated the nature and application of powers.
I manifested Aura around my fist and punched the cemented concrete wall and with an ear -defining sound the 50 meter long and tall wall was severely damaged and cracked like spider webs everywhere.
"All I know about this aura power is, it drains something from me, a sport of energy and is another form of energy which enhances my power while staying colorless. And continuous use makes me focused yet tired quickly." I explained as I reached a confusion to both of my powers.
"So I explore more or take a break…. On second thought I deserve a long break." With how sweaty and exhausted I was it was impossible for me to continue what I was doing for another hour.

Afternoon
I was chilling in my bedroom watching some anime and then my phone rang. Someone was calling me. "Yes, It's Jotaro speaking." I responded first, ready to hang up, if some insurance or loaning bank was disturbing me.
"Hi, Jotaro. It's me Martha, I wanted to ask you if you are free right now. I want you to take an interview of some candidate I have selected. After all, you are the legitimate owner." Martha on the other side of the phone greeted and requested.
"Well I can do that tomorrow if you don't mind." I responded after thinking for a few seconds. As I was mentally and physically exhausted to do such important things in my current state.
"Hmm, okay. I will inform the candidate to come tomorrow." Was all she said before ending the call.
