"I cannot interfere directly; otherwise, unimaginable complications will arise," Asura Lin Mu said succinctly.
Upon hearing this, Di Tian's heart skipped a beat. He immediately lowered his head, not daring to utter another word. Although this senior had only appeared a few times, he had accurately predicted every event, seemingly possessing an absolute precognitive ability.
Back when he first encountered the senior, Di Tian had unleashed his strongest move, the Dragon God Claw, only for it to be effortlessly dodged. When the senior reappeared, he was already standing behind him. It wasn't just speed; it was true spatial teleportation. The difference between the two was like heaven and earth.
Immediately following that, a wave of dizziness had washed over him. Before he could react, the senior had transported him directly to the Lord's resting place. This was absolute suppression! Without a doubt, this senior's strength had reached the level of a god, perhaps even surpassing the Nine Great Dragon Kings. For Di Tian, the Dragon Kings were the pinnacle of power; he didn't dare speculate on what lay beyond.
However, he remained wary. Most of the top dragon experts had perished, and even their Lord was in a deep sleep due to severe injuries. Yet, this senior was completely unharmed, making it unlikely he was a member of the dragon race. Ruling that out left only one possibility: this senior was human. And if a human was willing to help their Lord recover, he must have ulterior motives.
Even so, Di Tian was helpless. He was no match for this senior and could only pray that the man harbored no ill intentions.
Seeing Di Tian treat a stranger with such reverence, Bi Ji, who was already skeptical, grew even more bewildered. "Di Tian, who is he?" she asked.
Although the two sets of armor looked vastly different, she had a nagging feeling this person was related to Lin Mu. She had never seen anyone else possess an armored Martial Soul, and Lin Mu had manifested various sets; perhaps this was simply another one.
Yet, a fatal flaw undermined that theory: she had personally watched Lin Mu leave the forest. Unless he had traveled from the future, but how could that be? Not even a god should possess such an ability.
Faced with Bi Ji's questioning, Di Tian hesitated. He tentatively looked at the senior to ensure he wouldn't object before explaining, "Bi Ji, the senior is here to help us."
Bi Ji frowned. This man was too mysterious to be trusted; he looked like someone plotting to steal a great treasure. Given Di Tian's submissive attitude, she feared they were being sold out while being asked to count the gold for their captor.
Asura Lin Mu ignored her doubts entirely. He reached out, grabbed Di Tian's shoulder, and instantly vanished from her sight. In the blink of an eye, the two arrived at the Silver Dragon King's resting place, a secluded space protected by a barrier designed to shield it from the outside world. To Asura Lin Mu, clad in the Asura Armor, this barrier was practically nonexistent.
"Senior, I entrust my Lord to you," Di Tian said. He didn't dare offend his master's sanctuary, but he was also powerless to stop the senior.
Asura Lin Mu said nothing and headed straight for the core of the space. Soon, a gigantic silver dragon cocoon appeared before him, radiating immense elemental energy. This was the Silver Dragon King, Gu Yuena, in her healing state.
Asura Lin Mu remained calm. He had seen this before and had even awakened her with his will once. However, due to the severity of her injuries, she had quickly succumbed to sleep again. He took out the colored crystal, and under his control, Soul Power saturated with pure elemental energy flowed into the cocoon.
After a while, the cocoon began to pulse like a beating heart. A clear, cold voice echoed from within: "You've come."
"Hmm." Sensing her awakening, Asura Lin Mu communicated telepathically. Their spiritual powers were so vast they could perceive each other's true forms. Gu Yuena was curled inside the cocoon, her long silver hair draping over the floor like crystalline silk.
Her pale skin was flawless, and her purple eyes were clear and transparent. She possessed a beauty that defied description.
While they communicated, Di Tian waited anxiously outside. He feared this senior intended to abduct his Lord. If that happened, the Soul Beast race would lose any hope of turning the tide. Only when their Lord recovered would they have a chance to stand against the God Realm.
Meanwhile, Lin Mu had already left the Star Dou Great Forest. He didn't return to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well immediately, but instead found a safe location to absorb his new soul bone.
On a mountain peak with a sweeping view, Lin Mu sat cross-legged and examined the left leg soul bone. "I expected a Soul Bone from Di Tian's clan, but I didn't expect it to be Wind attribute. A pleasant surprise. Though the energy fluctuations are weak from being left for so long, it's still far superior to an ordinary 100,000-year soul bone."
Finding no issues, he placed the bone against his left leg. Due to the perfect attribute compatibility, there was no rejection. The fusion was even smoother than his experience with the Scarlet King's soul bone.
Before long, the fusion was complete. His Soul Power surged, breaking through to Level 97 in one fell swoop.
"Could it be a million-year soul bone?" Lin Mu's eyes flashed. To increase soul power by such a margin with only residual energy suggested it was likely a million-year soul bone, perhaps a relic of the Wind Dragon King, one of the Nine Great Dragon Kings.
Suddenly, Lin Mu thought of the remains of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings in the Yin Yang Well. He could use them to condense a Water-attribute soul core. The Ice Dragon King was essentially the Water Dragon King; ice and water were just different forms of the same element.
However, he planned to condense a Wind-attribute soul core first to maintain a three-way balance before moving on to Water. This was the more prudent path. With the power of this new soul bone, he felt extremely confident.
Generally, condensing two soul cores was the limit for a soul master. Three soul cores were equivalent to entering the realm of a god. But Lin Mu was an anomaly. His goal was to condense five soul cores and forge his own godhood!
He acted immediately, positioning the new core to the lower left of the Fire-attribute soul core, near the position of his left leg bone.
