Chapter 97 - Ma Hongjun is Crippled

"Since Yu Xiaogang isn't here, I will vent my anger on you."

The Sword Douluo's eyes were sharp as he suddenly unleashed the crushing pressure of a Titled Douluo.

Bang!!

With a loud thud, Ma Hongjun fell to his knees. His hands slammed onto the ground as his body was forced down, nearly flattening him against the earth. A trace of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth; he had clearly suffered significant internal injuries.

Ma Hongjun had only recently broken through to the Soul Elder level, and his martial soul had been severely damaged. How could he possibly withstand the pressure of a Titled Douluo?

Without hesitation, Flender rushed forward, shielding Ma Hongjun behind him to block some of the oppressive force.

Facing the pressure of a Super Douluo, even Flender felt the strain. He pleaded, "Sect Master Ning, Your Excellency Sword Douluo, he is still a child!"

These words, however, only enraged the Sword Douluo further.

If they were comparing ages, Ning Rongrong was even younger. And how could a brothel regular like Ma Hongjun ever be worthy of approaching his precious Rongrong?

Although the disgusting act hadn't actually happened, the mere thought of it filled him with shock and rage.

Immediately, the Sword Douluo's eyes widened. The Seven Kill Sword materialized in his hand, pointing directly at Flender. He spoke coldly, "Get out of my way, or I'll take care of you too."

Seeing the Sword Douluo's unwavering stance, Flender felt a bitter taste in his mouth. He had truly been betrayed by his "good brother."

After all, Ma Hongjun was his former direct disciple, and Flender bore some responsibility for the boy's current predicament. If he hadn't blindly trusted Yu Xiaogang's theories, he wouldn't have let Ma Hongjun change teachers.

Driven by guilt, Flender decisively stood his ground to protect Ma Hongjun, hoping to at least ensure the boy's survival.

Just as Flender was racking his brains for a solution, Liu Erlong stepped forward. She said loudly, "Sword Douluo, Xiaogang is a direct descendant of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. The Upper Three Sects stand together as one family. Why resort to killing over such a trivial matter?"

As one of the Upper Three Sects, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan was still somewhat feared, even by the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, despite the latter having two Titled Douluos.

As expected, the Sword Douluo hesitated slightly.

This matter involved the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. If things went too far, it could easily provoke a conflict between the two sects, which would be detrimental to the stability of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.

Ning Fengzhi, however, seemed unconcerned. He spoke meaningfully, "If I remember correctly, Yu Xiaogang was expelled from the clan twenty years ago. By the way... aren't you and Yu Xiaogang cousins?"

As the Sect Master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, it wasn't difficult for him to uncover such secrets.

Having her secret revealed, Liu Erlong's expression changed slightly. The reminder of that absurd and painful past made her emotions incredibly complex.

Since the incident between Xiaogang and her disciple, she had spent every day in heartbreak. At first, she couldn't accept it at all, but as time went on, she had convinced herself that Xiaogang had no choice, that perhaps he was willing to do such an absurd thing just to protect her innocence in some twisted way.

After a moment, Liu Erlong suppressed her emotional turmoil and said firmly, "Even if Xiaogang is expelled from the clan, he is still the Clan Leader's son. That is an unchangeable fact."

Hearing this, Ning Fengzhi hesitated.

Undeniably, crippling or killing Yu Xiaogang would surely provoke Yu Yuanzhen's retaliation.

Although the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect wasn't afraid of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, a fight between two tigers would inevitably result in one dead and one injured.

Considering the "offense" hadn't actually been committed, starting a large-scale sect war over it wasn't worthwhile.

"What you say makes sense, but you've overlooked one issue."

After a pause, Ning Fengzhi revealed a gentle smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Yu Xiaogang is the Clan Leader's son... but this kid isn't."

"Uncle Sword, cripple him."

As soon as the words fell, a streak of sword light flashed past. It moved so fast that neither Flender nor Liu Erlong had time to react.

A moment later, Ma Hongjun let out a bloodcurdling scream as blood seeped from his crotch.

Hearing the incessant screams, Flender's lips curled into a bitter smile. The matter was settled; even the most powerful Healing System Soul Master would find it difficult to regenerate a severed limb like that.

He looked up at Ning Fengzhi, finding the man's gentle smile rather chilling.

"Sect Master Ning, Hongjun has already been punished. How about we leave it at that?"

Flender knew when he was beaten. Even all the teachers combined couldn't contend with the Sword Douluo, let alone with Ning Fengzhi assisting him.

Besides, Ma Hongjun was already crippled; any further argument was pointless.

"Dean Flender, thank you for taking care of Rongrong during this time. I won't trouble you anymore; I've already planned to transfer her to another academy," Ning Fengzhi said firmly.

After this incident, he naturally didn't feel comfortable leaving Rongrong at Shrek Academy. He had only intended it as a temporary placement, but it had almost led to disaster.

Just then, Ning Rongrong came running over from a distance, excitedly throwing herself into Ning Fengzhi's arms.

"Dad! Grandpa Sword! What brings you here?"

Ning Rongrong was unaware that her bodyguard had already informed them of the situation. She was still planning to tell her father and two grandfathers about the incident herself when she returned home.

Just as she finished speaking, she noticed Ma Hongjun lying on the ground like a corpse, with a pool of blood forming around his groin.

Seeing this, she immediately realized that her secret bodyguard must have reported the incident. However, she hadn't expected Ma Hongjun to be the one to suffer the consequences.

In her heart, the one who deserved to be crippled the most was Yu Xiaogang.

"Dad, Grandpa Sword... you both know?"

"Yes. Thankfully, you're alright." Ning Fengzhi's eyes softened instantly. He said gently, "Rongrong, I'm planning to transfer you to another academy."

"Is it the Heaven Dou Royal Academy?" Ning Rongrong asked excitedly.

Ning Fengzhi nodded slightly. Given the relationship between His Highness the Crown Prince and Lin Mu, arranging for Ning Rongrong to join the Royal Fighting Team shouldn't be a problem.

Upon hearing that Ning Rongrong was transferring to the Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Oscar's expression changed drastically. He hurried forward and said, "Rongrong, you said you wanted to stay at Shrek Academy!"

"Hmph! This young lady doesn't want to be disciplined by that damned 'Grandmaster' anymore."

Ning Rongrong raised her swan-like neck, revealing a disdainful expression. Compared to Lin Mu, Yu Xiaogang was simply trash.

Next, the Sword Douluo took Ning Fengzhi and Ning Rongrong away on his flying sword.

Watching Ning Rongrong's figure gradually disappear into the distance, Oscar was completely dejected, his resentment toward Yu Xiaogang growing stronger by the second.

Dai Mubai, on the other hand, felt a bit of schadenfreude. His fiancée had already run away, and he didn't want to see Oscar living a better life than him.

He was actually happy about Ning Rongrong's departure. After all, he and Ning Rongrong had never gotten along. If it weren't for the backing of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, he would have tried to deal with her long ago.

"Sigh... what a mess!"

Flender sighed deeply, his face full of worry. Of the original "Five Little Monsters," only three remained.

No, to be precise, it was effectively two. Ma Hongjun was basically ruined.

In his view, it was all Yu Xiaogang's fault.

That guy was simply insane; he actually wanted Ning Rongrong to relieve Ma Hongjun's lust like a common prostitute. Luckily, it didn't actually happen, otherwise, the entire Shrek Academy would probably have been wiped off the map by the Sword Douluo today.

After all these events, Flender seriously doubted whether he had been mentally unstable in the past to actually believe Yu Xiaogang was a genius.

If it were just a problem with his theoretical abilities, that would be one thing. But this guy actually planned to have Liu Erlong relieve his disciple's lust previously, it was utterly depraved! His image of his "good brother" was completely shattered.

However, for Erlong's sake, Flender felt he could only choose to endure it.
