Chapter 29 - Tang Yuehua, a Brother-Complex (Brocon)

Tang Yuehua surveyed the three people in the room, her gaze finally settling on Lin Mu, the eldest, with a hint of quiet scrutiny.

Lin Mu stood up, his posture neither humble nor arrogant. "Greetings, Madam Yuehua."

"Your Excellency mentioned the son of an old friend..." Tang Yuehua bowed slightly, her eyes revealing a hint of suppressed urgency.

In fact, she already had a vague guess in her heart. Judging by the timeline, her second brother's child should be around twelve years old.

Lin Mu didn't rush to explain. Instead, he reached into his storage bracelet and pulled out a jet-black token engraved with six distinct Martial Soul patterns.

"The Sect Ranking Token!"

The moment she saw the token, Tang Yuehua's pupils dilated. Forgetting her carefully cultivated elegance, she hurriedly took the token from Lin Mu's hand, her fingers trembling with a mix of disbelief and excitement.

Spirit Hall had once bestowed these tokens upon the three upper sects, and the one Tang Hao held was a symbol of his status as the successor of the Clear Sky Sect.

The Heaven Dou Royal Academy was an elite institution reserved for nobility. Lin Mu, as a commoner without a noble title, could not directly enroll Tang San there. This was the primary reason they had come to Yuexuan.

While Tang Yuehua was not a powerful Soul Master, possessing a mutated Level 9 Soul Power that could never break through, as the Master of Yuexuan and a confidant to the Imperial Family, sending someone to the academy was a simple matter for her.

With Tang Hao's token in hand and the sight of Tang San, Tang Yuehua was nearly convinced.

Seeing the opportunity, Lin Mu beckoned Tang San forward.

Tang Yuehua's brows furrowed as she examined the boy from head to toe. Her eyes almost overflowed with emotion. "Child... what is your name?"

"This junior's name is Tang San," he replied honestly, though he was still confused by the woman's intense reaction.

"Tang... Tang San," she murmured, the name tasting like a long-lost memory. Suppressing her tears, she asked eagerly, "Could you... let me see your Martial Soul?"

Tang San looked at Lin Mu, who gave a slight nod. Tang San then slowly raised his right hand.

Driven by his Soul Power, a stalk of Blue Silver Grass sprouted from his palm. Its surface shimmered with a pale golden halo, a mutation resulting from Lin Mu's guidance, making it look far more regal than ordinary weeds.

"It really is Blue Silver Grass..."

A brief hint of disappointment flashed in Tang Yuehua's eyes, she had hoped he might have inherited the Clear Sky Hammer, but it vanished instantly. The presence of the grass combined with the token confirmed everything. This was indeed the child of her second brother, Tang Hao.

Overwhelmed by news of her long-lost brother, Tang Yuehua stepped forward and grabbed Lin Mu's arm, her voice trembling. "Where is his father? Why didn't he come with you?"

Seeing the dignified, world-class beauty so distraught and clinging to his arm, a strange light flashed in Lin Mu's eyes.

'This woman is truly a brocon.' Lin Mu thought to himself, then immediately dismissed it. This was the "Continent of Love," after all; unusual devotions were par for the course.

Tang San, standing nearby, looked utterly bewildered. He couldn't imagine his disheveled, alcoholic, and blacksmith father knowing such a refined and noble woman.

"I'm sorry, I don't know his current whereabouts either," Lin Mu replied.

Tang Yuehua's eyes dimmed with disappointment. She took a deep breath, smoothing her dress and regaining her composure. "May I ask your name?"

"My name is Lin Mu. Xiao San is my disciple."

Lin Mu's gaze remained calm. Even a woman as stunning as Tang Yuehua held no allure for him, especially given the political baggage she carried.

Hearing this young man claim to be Tang San's teacher, Tang Yuehua was struck with astonishment. Lin Mu looked to be in his early twenties, hardly older than Tang San himself. At an age where most were still students, he was already taking disciples.

"Mr. Lin Mu... may I ask what your cultivation level is?" she asked hesitantly, worried about offending him.

Lin Mu saw right through her. She was worried he wasn't strong enough to guide the scion of the Clear Sky Sect.

"I am a mere Soul Saint," Lin Mu said in an extremely flat, calm tone.

Now that he possessed the power of a Titled Douluo, there was no harm in revealing a fraction of his true level to gain her cooperation.

"A Soul Saint?!"

Tang Yuehua's pupils dilated, and she felt a sudden wave of dizziness. A Soul Saint in his early twenties? It was unheard of. Even Tang Hao, the youngest Titled Douluo in history, hadn't reached Level 70 at such a young age. This wasn't just genius; this was a monster.

In that moment, she realized her brother's wisdom. Such a talent would inevitably stand at the peak of the world. By having Tang San study under him, the Clear Sky Sect would be tied to a future powerhouse who could help them return to their former glory.

Tang Yuehua's gaze toward Lin Mu shifted from simple curiosity to profound respect.

"Mr. Lin Mu, please, stay at Yuexuan as my guests. Allow me to fulfill my duty as a host and make up for the years Xiao San has missed."

Lin Mu shook his head decisively. "That won't be necessary. We aren't suited for the refined environment of Yuexuan. We came here specifically to ask for Madam Yuehua's assistance."

"Please, speak freely. I will do anything in my power to help."

"Little San is of school age. I plan to enroll him in the Heaven Dou Royal Academy, but as a commoner, I lack the necessary connections to get him past the gates. As the Master of Yuexuan, I'm sure you have the influence to facilitate an introduction."

"Consider it done," Tang Yuehua promised with a gentle, relieved smile. "I will arrange everything immediately to ensure Tang San enters the academy without issue."

"Master... and Xiao Wu too?" Tang San whispered, looking at his sister.

Lin Mu glanced at Tang Yuehua. "Is adding one more student isn't a problem?"

Tang Yuehua looked at the silent, pretty girl and instantly guessed the nature of her relationship with Tang San. She nodded warmly. "Of course. Two students are just as easy as one."
