Chapter 84: Elbaf Village
"It's Chief Dorry and Chief Brogy…"
"They're back!"
"This is my first time seeing the two great chiefs!"
The surrounding giants were all stirred, their voices filled with excitement and joy.
"Ding-hihihihi… we're back!"
Dorry roared with laughter.
One of the giants immediately turned around and ran toward the village.
Two kilometers away stood a village filled with enormous houses.
"The chiefs are back…"
"The chiefs are back…"
A giant with golden curly hair sprinted back to the village like a charging colossus, shouting as he ran.
"Jinmussen, the chiefs have always been in the village—what do you mean 'back'?"
A towering eighteen-meter-tall giant, bare-chested with muscles like coiled dragons, rumbled out in a deep voice.
He held a massive war hammer in one hand, a single-horned helmet resting on his head.
"Uncle Kaba, I… I mean Chief Dorry and Chief Brogy."
The young giant Jinmussen shrank his neck nervously as he explained.
"What? Really?"
Kaba shouted, taking a heavy step forward.
"Yeah, yeah—Sikai and the others are still over there!"
Boom!
Kaba slammed his hammer into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Then he strode off in the direction Jinmussen had come from.
The little giant blinked for a moment before continuing to shout.
"Chief Dorry is back!"
"Chief Brogy is back!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Giants began pouring out of their colossal homes one after another, until the entire village square was filled with them—some tall, some short.
The tallest reached nearly twenty meters, and there were well over a hundred giants gathered.
And this was only one giant village—there were others, and even a Giant Kingdom beyond.
At the front stood two twenty-meter-tall elder giants. Both wore bull-horned helmets, black cloaks draped over their armored bodies, and their white beards were so long they trailed down to the ground.
Thud… thud… thud…
The earth trembled as heavy footsteps echoed from the forest, drawing every giant's gaze.
Dorry and Brogy emerged from the trees, followed by a group of young giants and the middle-aged Kaba. Their faces were alight with excitement and reverence.
"You've finally returned, Dorry, Brogy!"
One of the elder giants called out.
"We're back, Elder Yaruru, Elder Joruru!" Dorry grinned wide, flashing a row of white teeth.
"Ka-babababa…"
Brogy burst out laughing.
"It's good to have you home—good, good! Ku-babababa!" Elder Joruru laughed heartily in return.
"Chief Dorry, we've waited so long for your return."
"Yeah! Kashi and Oimo went out searching for you two, and there's still no word from them."
"Chief Brogy, are you setting sail again?"
The surrounding giants all called out questions, one after another.
"Ding-hihihihi… This time, we're back to rebuild the Giant Warrior Pirates!"
Dorry laughed loudly.
"I—I want to go to sea!"
"Me too!"
A few little giants barely five or six meters tall raised their hands, shouting eagerly.
"Ka-babababa… You're still too young to go sailing!"
Brogy bellowed with laughter.
In Elbaf, five- or six-meter-tall giants were still considered children—elementary-school-aged, with no fighting ability. Most of the battle-ready giants over ten meters tall came from Elbaf Village itself.
"Since Dorry and Brogy have returned, let's hold a feast tonight! Ku-babababa…"
"Yo-hehehe! A feast!"
"Yeahhhh!"
The giants all roared in delight, their voices rumbling like thunder across the island.
