Inside the Dragonflame Pirates' ship.
"Ba wang, what do you think about the ship?" Jiang Qize asked.
It had been several days, and during this time, Ba wang had been constantly studying books about ships.
"Sir, I've already designed one," Ba wang said, pulling out several sheets of blueprints.
Jiang Qize took them and gave them a quick look.
He frowned and shook his head.
"This won't do. The materials are already good, but it's still too ordinary—just a bit better than a regular ship.
I want a steel ship. I know that might be difficult, but do your best."
He didn't actually know how ships on Earth were built, so he couldn't offer any useful direction. He could only hope Ba wang would figure something out.
"Steel ships…"
Ba wang furrowed his brows.
Such vessels didn't even exist in this world yet.
But since his master had asked, he would do everything he could.
Jiang Qize's eyes shifted slightly as he opened Ba wang's enhancement interface.

Ba wang's body suddenly stiffened, and a flash of light passed through his eyes—they glowed as bright as lamps. A faint wave emanated from his mind, rippling outward in all directions.

His face was now filled with confidence. In his eyes, it was as if a universe of stars was shining—glimmering with brilliance.
"Good. Don't let me down."
"Ten days, and I'll deliver what you want," Ba wang said with a smile.
"Alright, go ahead." Jiang Qize nodded.
"Yes, sir!"
Ba wang left.
Jiang Qize checked Ba wang's stats.

Jiang Qize's lips curved into a grin.
"Captain…"
Suddenly, Camon's voice came from outside, sounding urgent.
"What is it?"
Jiang Qize stood up, exasperated. Camon was always shouting about something—just like a pig demon who panicked over everything.
"There's a Marine riding a bicycle across the sea heading toward us—it looks like…"
Bang!
Jiang Qize threw open the door and stepped out.
He's here. He's coming—Aokiji.
"Canglong! Accelerate and shake him off!"
Jiang Qize scanned the ocean and immediately spotted Aokiji pedaling across the water on his bicycle about a kilometer away.
The open sea was Aokiji's domain. Fighting here was suicide. Jiang Qize wanted to fight—but if they clashed, Camon and the others would be severely injured, if not dead. There'd be no escaping.
"Rooar!"
Canglong let out a mighty roar, its 150-meter-long body lifting the ship as its enormous tail slammed against the waves.
In an instant, it became a gray blur racing across the sea, widening the gap by five hundred meters in a flash.
