Chapter 63: Two Hundred Million Berries

Seeing this scene, Doflamingo's grin widened, growing even more arrogant.

"Fuffuffuffu… As expected of the Summoner, Ze. To think you're also one of those with the qualifications of a king. You're worthy to be my partner."

He stood up, the feathers of his pink coat fluttering around him, eyes gleaming as he spoke with imperious confidence.

In the distance, Ze listened to his words and couldn't help curling his lip—this guy was way too full of himself.

  He retracted his Conqueror's Haki.

  Doflamingo did the same.

Then Ze turned back to his ship, carefully stored the Human-Human Fruit, and carried five Dinosaur Fruits out with him.

  Thud!

He tapped his foot lightly against the ground, body springing up into the air before landing neatly on Doflamingo's ship.

  "Fuffuffuffu… welcome, welcome."

"Doffy, did you bring the money?" Ze asked calmly, giving Doflamingo a once-over.

Doflamingo smiled, glancing briefly at the fruits in Ze's arms. Instead of answering directly, he chuckled and asked, "These are the Devil Fruits you mentioned?"

"Mm. Try them if you want—but pay first," Ze replied coolly.

The only flaw with the Dinosaur Fruits was that, unlike real Devil Fruits, their skins lacked the distinctive spiral patterns.

"You little punk! You dare play us for fools?!"

Pica roared, his massive frame stepping forward with a thunderous boom.

"Doffy, your subordinate doesn't seem to understand manners," Ze said, his gaze sharpening.

An instant later, a surge of Conqueror's Haki exploded from his body, enveloping Pica completely.

Pica suddenly felt an overwhelming urge to kneel—the instinctive submission of the weak before a superior will. His face went pale.

"Fuffuffu… Pica, step back," Doflamingo said with a grin, taking a step forward as his own Conqueror's Haki flared out to meet and neutralize Ze's.

Pica's face turned red with humiliation. The fact that he'd nearly knelt to an outsider filled him with shame and anger, and his glare toward Ze grew vicious.

"Torrebol, bring the money," Doflamingo said with a wicked smile.

  "Young master…" Torrebol frowned slightly.

  "Hmm?" Doflamingo's face darkened.

"Yes, sir!" Torrebol bowed quickly, his long, slimy cloak dragging behind him as he headed for the cabin.

"My fruits won't disappoint you," Ze said with a faint smile.

As long as the money came through, everything else was fine.

"Fuffuffuffu… let's hope so," Doflamingo replied, his own grin stretching wider.

Before long, Torrebol returned carrying two large chests.

At Doflamingo's signal, he set them down in front of Ze and flipped them open.

  Click!

Inside were stacks upon stacks of gleaming Berries.

"There's two hundred million here—as a deposit. Once I sell them, you'll get the rest," Doflamingo said evenly.

Right now, the Donquixote Family was in dire need of money. Even this two hundred million had been squeezed out with difficulty.

  "That works," Ze nodded.

He wasn't worried about Doflamingo withholding the rest of the payment. If he really dared to do that, Ze wouldn't hesitate to pay the Donquixote Family a personal visit—to wipe them out completely.

He might not be strong enough yet, but with this two hundred million… that might soon change.

He tossed the five Dinosaur Fruits toward them.

Torrebol extended an arm, which morphed into a sticky brown slime that caught the fruits and drew them back before him.

Doflamingo picked up one of the Dinosaur Fruits and examined it carefully.

Meanwhile, Ze pressed his hand against the two chests of Berries and murmured, "Recharge."

[Ding! Recharge successful. Two hundred million Berries acquired.]

The money inside the boxes vanished instantly.
