Anisa stepped outside her house, letting the fresh air soothe her mind and give her a sense of freedom. As she walked along the familiar path, her attention was first caught by a few children playing nearby. In that moment, her thoughts drifted to Zayan, remembering how he had always been gentle and affectionate with little children, watching over them with a quiet fondness. đ¶
Moving further, she came across a small food stall selling Nasi Lemak, spicy beef stew, Suya, and other local delicacies. Anisa had never been fond of such spicy street food,it always left her flushed and struggling for breath. She recalled how Zayan, in contrast, enjoyed these spicy treats while she preferred honey-flavored dishes. Today, however, she wanted to break free from the weight of her memories, to reclaim a part of herself lost in the past.
With determination, Anisa bought a plate of the spicy dishes and began eating. Tears welled up in her eyes, streaming down her cheeks as her face turned red from both the heat of the food and the surge of emotion. She sobbed quietly, letting the grief and memories flow through her. Yet, despite it all, she persevered, taking bite after bite, finishing the entire plate. With each mouthful, she felt a strange sense of release, as if she were slowly freeing herself from the shadows of the past. đ
