Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 How Terrifying It Is When a Cursed Spellcaster Goes All Out

With a shrill alarm blaring, Ji father, who had just lain down, was abruptly awakened. A speed-specialized transmuter rushed into Ji father's bedroom in a flurry.

"Mr. Ji! The place is swarming with transmuters. They initially intended to sneak in but were discovered and now they're launching a full-scale assault. They're too powerful; we can't hold them off! You should follow me and leave now!"

"What?" Ji father was both shocked and furious.

Kensen's retaliation was even faster and more brutal than he had imagined! He had just laid out the next plan to target Kensen in Ji Group, and Kensen's counterattack had already arrived!

This guy actually led people to attack his Ji family's villa directly. Wasn't he afraid of provoking a united response from the entire Qingcheng? It was simply outrageous!

"Mr. Ji! Hurry up and leave! If you don't go now, it will be too late!" The speed-specialized transmuter urged.

But in the next second, a cold glint flashed, and a sharp knife protruded from his heart. Kensen, who had been holding a cigar, appeared behind him.

"Little Li!" Ji father's eyes widened in horror, filled with rage.

Once upon a time, a tiny child lay on the road, emaciated and on the verge of starving to death. Passersby came and went, some looked at him, but none stopped to help. Moved by compassion, Ji father handed him a bowl of steaming noodles and watched as the child devoured the noodles he fed him. Ji father decided to adopt the child and raise him by his side. And the child did not disappoint, growing up to become his right-hand man.

Little Li clearly felt his life force draining away with the blood, but he still endured the excruciating pain and turned around forcefully, hugging Ji father from behind.

"Mr. Ji, go quickly!"

Little Li, seriously injured, let out a hysterical roar!

"Don't you fear death?" Kensen was somewhat surprised.

"My life was bought by Mr. Ji with a bowl of noodles; it's not worth much." Little Li gave a sinister smile.

"What a touching master-servant relationship. I, Kensen, respect those with loyalty and righteousness. I'll give you a full burial."

Kensen nodded expressionlessly and then raised his hand with a snap, breaking Little Li's neck.

"Kensen!!!"

Ji father's eyes turned bloodshot, clearly having reached the limit of his rage. He pulled out a black pistol from the drawer beside him and aimed it directly at Kensen, pulling the trigger.

But before the gun could fire, a long, gleaming blade flashed like lightning, and in Ji father's incredulous gaze, his hand holding the gun flew high into the air.

"Using a gun against a transmuter? What a fool are you?" Kensen sneered.

"Guns are only effective against newly transmuted transmuters. Once they reach level 30 or above, guns are no different from toys in front of them.

"For your next life, remember not to oppose me, Kensen. I'm just low-key, not dead."

Kensen raised his knife to finish Ji father off, but at that moment, one of his subordinates rushed over and whispered something in his ear.

"What?" ! "Let them get away? You useless piece of trash!" Kenson slapped the subordinate across the face and put away the knife he had been ready to use on Ji's father.

"Mr. Ji," Kenson smiled. "Congratulations. Your son and that Ye Lin ran fast enough. You can live a little longer."

Since Ji Lingyu and Ye Lin had escaped, Ji's father couldn't be killed for now. Killing him would be equivalent to cutting off Ji Lingyu's weak point.

If you don't uproot the grass, it will grow again when the spring breeze blows.

Kenson didn't want to have someone come back after ten or twenty years to seek revenge on him. If he was going to do it, he would do it thoroughly!

He wanted to use Ji's father to lure these two out and eliminate them all at once.

"Don't even think about it!"

Uncle Ji was no fool. As soon as he saw Ken's reaction, he knew exactly what he was up to. He suddenly charged towards the corner of the wall. His son was his only concern, and he wouldn't allow himself to be the cause of his son's death!

But how could Ken let Uncle Ji have his way? Before he could even reach the corner, Ken delivered a swift hand chop that knocked him unconscious.

"Take them away!"

In less than half an hour, everyone in the Ji family's villa, except for Uncle Ji, had become cold corpses. After tonight, Ken, the underground king, would surely gain even more notoriety.

After testing his combat strength, Ye Lin had just returned to the Ji family's doorstep when he smelled a strong smell of blood.

Ye Lin's pupils dilated. Even if he had hidden in the Ji family, Ken still wouldn't let him go? Was he willing to wipe out the Ji family just to catch him?

Ye Lin seriously suspected that Ken already knew some of his secrets, which was why he was so insane.

This Ken... might not be able to be spared!

Just as Ji Lingyu was about to open the door and go in, Ye Lin stopped him and said meaningfully, "You... better prepare yourself mentally."

"Boss, what are you talking about?" Ji Lingyu didn't notice anything wrong and pushed the door open. As soon as he stepped into the house, he froze in place.

Ye Lin looked over and saw a terrifying scene like a hellish battlefield. The bodies of the Ji family's hired mercenaries and servants were everywhere, with limbs scattered all over the floor. Many of their faces were filled with terror, as if they had encountered the most terrifying evil spirits before their deaths.

"Boss... Boss, did we come to the wrong place? This doesn't look like my home."

Ji Lingyu forced a sickly smile and took a few steps back. He tried to find a negative answer from Ye Lin, but Ye Lin's serious expression told him that this was the Ji family, the place he had lived in for over a decade.

Ji Lingyu rushed in like a madman, wading through the sea of blood and corpses.

"Dad! Dad, where are you?"

Ji Lingyu shouted in terror. He wanted to find his father quickly, but he was also afraid of seeing his father's corpse in this sea of blood and corpses.

When he reached the door of his father's bedroom, Ji Lingyu's heart was in his throat. He pushed the door open with a determined look.

The room was very clean, as if it had been washed. There was only a severed hand holding a gun lying quietly on the table.

Ji Lingyu rushed over and recognized it as his father's hand!

Under the severed hand was a piece of paper, with a message written in blood.

"If you want to save your father, bring Ye Lin to the underground black market to find me. Every six hours, I will cut a piece of flesh from your father."

Ji Lingyu went crazy after reading it.

"Ken! I'll kill you!" Ji Lingyu screamed and was about to go and fight Ken to the death. Only the underground king, Ken, had the ability to kidnap Uncle Ji in the underground black market.

But as soon as he reached the door, Ye Lin kicked him back.

"Get out of the way! Don't stop me!"

Ji Lingyu's eyes were filled with rage as he looked at Ye Lin. Anyone who stopped him from saving Uncle Ji was his enemy now.

Seeing that Ji Lingyu had lost his mind, Ye Lin didn't bother with words and slapped him hard across the face. The slap was so forceful that Ji Lingyu's half of the face swelled up immediately.

"Uncle Ji is still alive because you haven't been caught by Ken. Do you believe me? As soon as you fall into Ken's hands, you and Uncle Ji will die together."

Ji Lingyu gritted his teeth, tears streaming down his face.

"Ah!!!"

He pounded the ground with all his might, as if trying to vent all the anger in his heart.

"What should I do? What can I do?" Ji Lingyu let out a desperate scream, like a trapped beast at the end of its rope. "Find a place to hide and stay safe. Don't get caught. I'll handle everything from here," Ye Lin comforted him.

"Handle... handle it?" Ji Lingyu raised his head in bewilderment.

"Have you forgotten? Once you call someone 'big brother', you're family for life. How could I stand by and do nothing when Uncle Ji is in danger?" Ye Lin said with a smile.

"Big brother..." Ji Lingyu's eyes welled up with tears, a strong sense of guilt filling his heart.

He had been scheming against Ye Lin all along, but Ye Lin treated him with sincerity. How could he not feel guilty?

"Don't cry. I'll bring Uncle Ji back. I'll let Kenson know how terrifying it is when a forbidden spell caster is willing to risk their life!" ?
