While walking he feels something coming towards him so he becomes very alert. Then a black shadow suddenly pounced on him so he quickly rolled on the ground. After getting up he saw a big tooth dog standing where he was standing just moments ago. Big tooth dog looks not very happy that his prey escape so pounce on him again but this time nova is prepared so he takes a side step then plunges the dagger into the beast's body. The warm blood splash on his face but without give it any mind he attacks again. Since the big tooth dog was in midair so he can't react in time, After landing on the ground the monster can't balance his body . By taking this enemy's moment of weakness nova attacks again but this time on his throat.
Nova plunges the dagger into the monster's throat and twists it then jumps backwards to dodge the big tooth dog's final attack but still a bit slow so his shoulder gets scratched. He is lucky that is just scratched on but still the force is enough to get him a flesh wound. The big tooth stops moving so he quickly harvest the pair of tooth of the big tooth dog and runs far away from this place. Because the sound of the battle and the smell of blood will attract monsters and his shoulder is hurt so he finds a quiet place and rests for a while. After getting enough rest nova start to move deep into the forest, his shoulder wound closed after the rest and blood stops flowing so he can move his arm but still it hurts, The injury not completely healed it only 70% healed.
He gets 10 points for killing rank 1 awaken beast but he needs 500 points to upgrade his cultivation so it is not possible to upgrade while hunting rank 1 awaken beasts so he needs to kills higher level of beasts. Nova still is very cautious so he provoked the one horn pig and ran further away from the group. Because of low intelligence he started to tail behind nova. He is still in rank 1 so his speed is not match for rank 2 one horn pig . After getting far enough that other pigs can't hear the sound of battle. He suddenly jumped aside, one horn pig couldn't control speed and crashed into a tree.
Nova took this chance and stabbed the poison dagger into the one horn pig's body. Poison took effect immediately, one horn pig starting to foam from the mouth then a few more seconds later one horn pig died. Nova received a system message that he killed one horn pig rank 2 and received 50 points. Nova takes the horn from the one horn pig because there is nothing valuable other than that. lure away then kills them with poison like this he killed around 20 one horn pigs. But he can't do it anymore because first he runs out of poison, he has to coat the dagger with poison every time he kill a one horn pig. The second reason is the remaining one horn pigs are near the leader one horn pig.
Nova decided to stop since he can't kill one horn pig leader now . Nova became speechless after seeing the price of the E rank martial skills start from the 20k to 50k.
