Boom!
A gigantic blue figure staggered out of the shattered spatial rift, filled with rage and indignation.
Apocalypse!
The progenitor of the Mutants had been thoroughly tormented in the Mirror Dimension just now. Despite possessing divine power, he was thrashing around like a headless fly.
"Damn witch! I'll tear you to shreds!"
As soon as Apocalypse emerged, before he could even assess the situation, he let out an earth-shattering roar of fury.
His blue armor was tattered, and his face was etched with brutality.
However, his roar was cut short, as if an invisible hand had clamped down on his throat.
The reason?
He saw the widespread devastation, the puddle of flesh that used to be Steve, and the shattered moon.
Most importantly, he saw the small figure floating in mid-air, entirely white and emitting a faint purple glow.
Even though his body was much smaller than his previous form, seemingly only 1.6 meters tall, in Apocalypse's perception, that figure was like a collapsing neutron star.
The terrifying pressure, which made his soul scream, even made the X-genes in his body tremble with fear.
What kind of monster is this?
A hundred times stronger than before—no!
A thousand times! Ten thousand times!
(T/N: 120 million is only a little over 200 times 530,000 but Apocalypse feels a much greater terror.)
Apocalypse's freshly ignited rage was extinguished like a match doused in liquid nitrogen, instantly cooling to nothing.
"Ma... Master?"
His legs uncontrollably gave way, and he plopped down onto his knees amidst the rubble.
The movement was so practiced it was heartbreaking.
Frieza tilted his head slightly, glancing at the subordinate he had just released.
"Oh? Isn't this my Captain Apocalypse?"
Frieza's voice became clearer, more neutral, yet also colder.
"It seems the bald sorcerer's trick is over?"
"Since you're out, just stand there and watch obediently."
Frieza no longer paid attention to Apocalypse, he had more important matters to attend to.
He slowly ascended until his figure was clearly captured by all the cameras. He spread his arms, his pristine white body reflecting a sacred yet eerie glow in the sunlight.
"You Earthlings, listen carefully."
Frieza's voice boomed in everyone's ears across the globe.
"The game is over."
"As you can see, your so-called hope, your so-called heroes, even your last trump card, are nothing but fragile toys before me."
Frieza extended a finger, pointing to the land beneath his feet.
"From this second onward, this Planet is officially renamed—Planet Frieza 001."
"All governments, armies, and organizations are hereby disbanded."
"All resources, land, and population are to be included in Frieza Force's asset registry."
At this point, Frieza's smile abruptly vanished.
Two chilling red beams shot from his eyes.
"If anyone still harbors illusions, if anyone still wishes to be that ridiculous savior, come at me."
"Whether it's rats hiding in the sewers or beasts lurking in the deep mountains, as long as I detect even a hint of resistance..."
Frieza clenched his hand in the air.
The distant Statue of Liberty, the bronze statue symbolizing the U.S. spirit, flew to his side, then twisted and deformed.
Then, with a "boom," it was crushed into a heap of scrap metal by an invisible force.
"Your fate will be the same as this scrap metal, and that idiot with the shield. I will not hesitate, nor will I show any mercy."
"After all..."
Frieza tilted his head, revealing an innocent yet utterly cruel smile.
"The current me only needs to twitch my pinky finger to completely erase you and this Planet from the Universe."
"Do you understand?"
"My slaves?"
Frieza slowly descended, his toes lightly touching a cracked piece of concrete.
His crimson, narrow eyes casually swept over everyone present.
Wherever his gaze fell, whether it was the once arrogant Erik or the supremely intelligent Reed, they instinctively lowered their heads.
Their muscles tensed, as if prey targeted by a natural predator.
"Alright, now it's time to discuss serious matters."
Frieza's voice was clear and neutral but it carried an undeniable, absolute authority.
He extended a finger, elegantly drawing a circle in the air, pointing to the ravaged land.
"Since this Planet has been renamed 'Planet Frieza 001,' the garbage of the old era naturally has no reason to exist."
"I need a clean, tidy, and efficient real estate project, not a dump full of pests."
At this point, Frieza's lips curved slightly upwards as he looked at Apocalypse, who stood by, awaiting orders.
"Captain Apocalypse."
"Your subordinate is here."
Apocalypse shuddered, immediately stepping forward. He knelt on one knee, his blue face filled with reverence and dread.
The indignation from the Mirror Dimension and the shock of witnessing the moon's explosion had completely shattered his pride. Now, he only wanted to be a good dog.
"Minor tasks like clearing illegal structures and stubborn residents shouldn't require me to personally act, should they?"
Frieza looked playfully at the surviving Avengers, whose eyes still held defiance.
"Naturally, I am willing to die for Lord Frieza."
Apocalypse stood up abruptly, and when he turned his head, the reverence in his eyes instantly transformed into brutal killing intent.
He might be an insect before Frieza, but before these Earthlings, he was still the despair-inducing Progenitor of Mutants.
"Frieza Force, heed my command!"
Apocalypse waved his large hand, pointing to the location of Tony, Peter, T'Challa, and others.
"Aside from the X-Men and Fantastic Four who have already sworn allegiance, the remaining stubborn elements..."
"Eradicate them all! Leave no one!"
As the order was given, Erik, Sebastian, Azazel, and others, who had been itching for action, moved instantly.
This was a massacre.
A massacre without any suspense.
Tony still sat slumped in the Anti-Frieza armor, which had already turned into scrap metal.
Looking at the group of villains surrounding him, a bitter smile spread across his lips.
"Jarvis..."
"I'm here, sir."
"Tell me, if I hadn't crawled out of that cave back then, would I not have seen this scene?"
"Sir, that is an uncalculable probability question."
"Heh... True."
