"Oh-ho-ho-ho..."
The laughter echoed under the retro-futuristic domes of the TVA architecture, sounding elegant, yet sending a chill down one's spine.
Frieza hovered in mid-air, a purple light pouring from his fingertips as if it were an endless supply of air.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Each death beam that fell was accompanied by a violent explosion and the collapse of buildings.
This wasn't Earth. There were no damned property deeds and no commercial plazas under his name.
More importantly, this wretched place didn't even have an atmosphere, so he didn't have to worry about accidentally blowing up the planet if he used a little too much force.
"Awesome! This is absolutely awesome!" Frieza roared in his heart.
This feeling of unrestrainedly unleashing his power was as satisfying as finally finding a toilet after holding it in for three days.
On Earth, he had to hold back, afraid of destroying his own backyard.
But here?
This was freedom.
Rumble!
Frieza casually flung a basketball-sized energy ball, hitting a tall tower in the distance.
That building, a symbol of TVA's authority, instantly turned into a cloud of dust, like a sandcastle hit by a wave.
The Time Guards below, who were trying to resist, didn't even have time to scream before they were vaporized along with their beliefs.
[Ding! Detecting extreme panic among TVA members! Fear Points +1000!]
[Ding! Fear Points +2000!]
[Ding! Fear...]
Listening to the system's wonderful prompts, Frieza felt like he absolutely loved this place.
This wasn't a Time Variance Authority, it was clearly his Fear Points ATM.
"Well then, warm-up's over."
Frieza brushed off non-existent dust from his hands, his crimson eyes looking towards the highest point of the city.
There, he sensed a few slightly stronger Ki signatures.
"Time to meet the masters of this place. I hope they can give me a reasonable explanation."
Whoosh!
Frieza transformed into a purple streak of light, instantly breaking through layers of obstacles and smashing through the huge golden gate carved with the Sacred Timeline pattern.
Boom!
The gate shattered, and dust billowed.
This was a hall filled with a mysterious aura, and at the end of the hall sat three figures that looked like mummies.
The Time-Keepers.
Of course, Frieza knew these were just three robot puppets, but that didn't stop him from putting on a show.
"You... you dare to trespass here."
The central Time-Keeper spoke in a mechanical and authoritative voice, though its hand trembled slightly.
"Criminal Frieza! Your actions have severely threatened the stability of the Sacred Timeline!"
"Stop your atrocities immediately! Accept your punishment obediently! This is your only way out!"
Another Time-Keeper echoed, trying to intimidate the monster with verbal pressure.
However—
"Oh my..."
Frieza slowly descended before them, his expensive suit still spotless.
He tilted his head, looking at the three puppets with the gaze one would reserve for an imbecile.
"The Sacred Timeline?"
Frieza sneered, sticking out his pinky finger to pick his ear.
"What does that invisible, intangible nonsense have to do with me?"
"As for you..."
Frieza's expression suddenly turned cold, and a terrifying murderous aura instantly swept through the entire hall.
"My skyscraper was blown up, my hotel collapsed, and my assets shrunk by seventy percent."
"As guardians of time, since you claim to have planned everything, why didn't you plan for the safety of my property?"
Time-Keepers: ???
The three puppets exchanged bewildered glances, their CPUs practically burning out.
What kind of logic was this?
The Battle of New York was something you experienced yourself, what does it have to do with us?
"This... this has nothing to do with the Sacred Timeline. That was predetermined fate." The central Time-Keeper forcefully argued.
"Moreover, if you destroy this place, the timeline will collapse. Countless time branches will appear."
"At that time, a more terrifying conqueror—Kang—will emerge to destroy everything."
It tried to use the hidden big boss to scare Frieza. Unfortunately, it had picked the wrong person.
"Kang?"
Frieza raised an eyebrow, a disdainful cold smile present on his lips.
"You mean that guy who wears tasteless purple and green clothes?"
"Instead of worrying about him..."
Frieza slowly raised his right hand, and at the tip of his index finger, a dark purple energy orb, only the size of a ping-pong ball but exuding a suffocating aura of destruction, was forming.
Death Ball!
"You should worry about yourselves first."
"After all, I am in a very bad mood right now."
Feeling the terrifying energy contained within that small ball, enough to wipe out everything, the Time-Keepers panicked.
"No! Stop! You can't do this!"
"This is a desecration of the rules! You will destroy everything!"
"Please... we can talk!"
Watching these three figures, who had just been so arrogant, now begging like dogs, Frieza's perverse pleasure was greatly satisfied.
"Talk?"
Frieza's smile grew brighter, and more cruel.
"Too late."
"Since this broken place can't even protect my money, there's no need for it to exist."
Before his words finished, Frieza flicked his finger.
The dark purple Death Ball, like a leisurely death sprite, floated towards the floor.
At the same time.
Frieza quickly pulled out the stolen Time Twister from his pocket and pressed a few buttons on it rapidly.
"Location: The Void."
"I need to go pick up my troublesome employees. After all, hiring people is quite a hassle."
Buzz!
An orange light portal opened behind him.
Frieza didn't even glance at the three despairing Time-Keepers. He turned, and stepped into the portal.
The instant he disappeared, the Death Ball touched the ground.
There was no sound as sound could not keep up with the speed of destruction.
An intensely dazzling white light instantly engulfed the entire hall, followed by the entire TVA headquarters, and finally, the entire space independent of time.
Sacred Timeline? Time Variance Authority?
In the face of the absolute power of the Emperor of the Universe, all turned into the most basic dust in the universe.
