Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Mavi's Garage

Instead of replying to the text message right away, Mavi simply got in his car, drove straight to the airport, and boarded his private jet.

"I'm on the plane now." After that kiss earlier, Mavi felt that the distance between them had noticeably shortened.

"Okay, safe travels. Let me know when you arrive." Jennifer felt the same way. That kiss had taken a lot of courage—she had been building up to it for quite some time. If she had hesitated even a little more, she might not have gone through with it... After all, it was her first time...

---

After flying back to Moscow from California, Mavi kept his promise and sent Jennifer a message to let her know he had arrived safely. Then, he got into the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph that had come to pick him up, accompanied by three imposing Tiger armored vehicles, and they drove away from the airport in a grand procession.

"Young Master, would you like to go to your house in the suburbs or the one in the city?" Butler Ivan asked him softly.

The house in the suburbs was the estate Mavi had seen on the day he was reborn and transported into this life. As for the city house, he didn't have much memory of it—only that its garage held all the sports cars he had collected and modified.

"Let's go to the one in the city," Mavi replied calmly. He was eager to see just how impressive his garage really was.

"Understood, Young Master," Ivan responded immediately and made the necessary arrangements.

About half an hour later, the convoy of Tiger armored vehicles arrived at an upscale residential area in Moscow. Mavi glanced out the car window and couldn't help but notice that the villas here were even larger than the estate he had purchased in Washington.

These mansions were particularly extravagant—each one was at least 2,000 square meters in size, and that wasn't even counting the gardens.

"I really don't know anything about myself," Mavi thought to himself.

According to Ivan, the people living in this neighborhood were all Russian billionaires. Even if someone had the money, they couldn't just buy a house here—there was an "interview" process before purchasing.

This so-called interview meant that the developers conducted background checks and screenings on potential buyers. If they didn't meet the criteria, they were simply rejected, even if the property remained unsold.

For example, there was once a prospective buyer who was turned down just because he owned an Afghan Shepherd. In other words, the developers were willing to forgo a $2 million deal over a single dog.

That kind of decision-making was just... so typically Russian.

When the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph finally pulled up in front of a grand standalone villa, Ivan turned to Mavi and respectfully said, "Young Master, we've arrived."

Mavi looked up at the villa in front of him and saw that its design and decor were distinctly Russian in style, reminiscent of the architecture in Moscow's Red Square. The roof had been designed into vintage white spires, and intricate palace-style carvings adorned the walls.

As soon as the convoy returned from the airport, the two attendants guarding the entrance immediately opened the wrought-iron gates, allowing the vehicles to enter.

"Take me to the garage," Mavi said, more interested in his collection of luxury cars than the lavish Russian mansion.

"Yes, Young Master." The Rolls-Royce started up again and slowly drove toward the east side of the estate, stopping in an open area.

Mavi frowned slightly—wasn't he supposed to be going to the garage? There wasn't a garage in sight.

But before he could say anything, the car suddenly started moving again—not forward or backward, but downward! It was as if he were in a movie scene, entering a secret underground base.

"Holy shit..." Mavi couldn't help but curse in his mind, completely stunned.

As the concrete ground lowered, a hidden steel fortress was revealed beneath. Bright lights illuminated the space, which was fully stocked with supplies—food, water, medicine, weapons... Even a power generator was installed. It was practically designed for an apocalypse.

In reality, this villa that Mavi's parents had left him was far more elaborate than even a military factory. This underground steel fortress had been custom-built by his parents as a safeguard against possible societal collapse.

Staring at the breathtaking scene straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster, Mavi momentarily forgot that he had come here to check out his garage.

He remembered how, in his past life, a Dubai prince had once shown off his luxurious garage online, filled with Bugattis, Rolls-Royces, and other high-end cars. Mavi had been envious back then.

But now, as he stood inside his own underground garage, he realized that everything he had once admired seemed utterly insignificant.

No wonder news reports often mentioned how many of the world's top billionaires had secret "panic rooms" or bunkers. Now, Mavi fully understood why.

As the Rolls-Royce slowly drove inside, rows of bright white lights illuminated the underground garage one by one. On either side of the vehicle, Mavi saw an impressive lineup of legendary supercars from the 1990s.

Every single car was perfectly preserved.

Each car was also neatly arranged by brand. The first section he passed contained a silver Ferrari 456 GTA, a jet-black Ferrari 355 F1 GTS, and a fiery red Ferrari 360 Modena.

After passing the Ferrari section, Mavi spotted a sleek black Lamborghini Diablo, radiating an imposing aura. Next to it, there was a light blue Bugatti EB110 GT, a bright yellow Porsche 911 GT, a pure white McLaren F1, and a heavily modified Jaguar XJ-220.

Looking around at the luxury cars in his garage, Mavi was certain—this had to be the most extravagant car collection of the 1990s.

Unfortunately, the auto industry wasn't as prosperous at this time, and many supercar brands were struggling with bankruptcy and restructuring—companies like Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Bentley. It would take until around 2004 before they made a strong comeback.

After taking in the sight of his underground garage, Mavi rode the elevator up into the villa. As soon as the doors opened, a fluffy white ball of fur suddenly let out an excited "Awooo!" and rushed toward him.

"Winnie! I haven't seen you in two weeks, and you've already grown so much!" Mavi exclaimed as he looked down at the little polar bear sprawled at his feet.

She had grown rapidly and was now about the size of a medium-sized dog. If it weren't for her round, clumsy appearance, Mavi might have mistaken her for a Samoyed.

Winnie wrapped her front paws around Mavi's leg affectionately, as if she were pouting and saying, "Why did you take so long to come back? I missed you... Awooo!"

Lately, Winnie had been in training, learning how to interact with humans and follow commands. The trainers were also working to correct some of her natural bad habits.
