Sanji suddenly leaned out of the kitchen, looking at the three idiots swinging on the swing.
"Since you're playing, can you help me get the pile of octopuses I caught yesterday from the fish tank? They're in another tank."
The three were still swaying like fools. "Octopus??"
Sanji nodded. "Hmm... Octopus rice with blanched octopus slices, and a colorful octopus cold dish with ketchup. I want octopus to be the main course for dinner."
"Oh, ho!!!" ヾ(ノ '﹃')ノ "Sanji! Make some takoyaki too!! Orochimaru wants some!" Luffy pointed at Orochimaru, blinking... his clone looked speechless.
"Alright, alright, I'll leave it to you. Go catch the octopus."
Sanji watched the three idiots run off to get tools with doting eyes, shook his head. It's not like he wouldn't make it for them anyway.
It's a good thing Orochimaru had the foresight to separate the edible area from the ornamental area, otherwise there would be nothing left... As Orochimaru said, the existence of the warehouse was the culprit behind them starving nine times in three days.
Facts proved... a locked refrigerator was indeed useless 〒▽〒
Inside the restaurant, Orochimaru and others watched with interest as Usopp, fully armed and holding a shovel, jumped into the aquarium. It looked quite professional.
Usopp unhesitatingly slapped one octopus after another out of the tank, his movements swift and decisive.
Usopp looked at the group of octopuses triumphantly, striking a defiant pose, a victorious smile on his face. Just as Usopp thought victory was in his grasp, something tragic happened—a group of angry octopuses tightly wrapped around him, immobilizing him.
Nami anxiously called out to Luffy.
"Luffy!!! This is bad, Usopp is tangled up by octopuses!"
Luffy, hearing Usopp was trapped, immediately rushed forward, extending his arm into the tank to try and grab him, but due to the interference of the octopuses, he couldn't succeed.
Helpless, Luffy unleashed his Gum-Gum Gatling skill into the pool, and immediately the water in the pool splashed, creating chaos. Usopp, bruised and swollen, was punched out along with the octopuses.
Chopper and Luffy looked at Usopp's face, covered in bumps, and said joyfully, "Great~! He's still alive!"
Usopp instantly revived and stood up, his shark-like face roaring at the two, "What nonsense are you talking about!!! You almost killed me!"
Sanji looked at Usopp speechlessly, his voice full of complaint, "Seriously... So noisy. It's just catching an octopus."
Usopp instantly redirected his anger, pressing his face against Sanji's. "How can you say that! You're the one who told us to catch them!"
Zoro watched the farce below from the crow's nest with a helpless expression, then suddenly spotted something on the sea.
"Hey, something's floating on the sea."
"What, what!! ●)o(●)" The bickering group immediately heard Zoro's words and all crowded at the ship's rail, craning their necks to look out.
"A barrel??? It looks like it has the character for 'treasure' written on it." Usopp strained his eyes to look at the barrel.
"Could it have fallen off a treasure ship!" Luffy excitedly pulled the barrel over.
Soon the barrel stood on the deck, and the three idiots, arm in arm, sang and danced around it, "Treasure~ Treasure~ Gold and silver treasures~"
Nami, Robin, and Orochimaru, hearing the noise, came out of the ship's cabin and looked at the three idiots. "Too bad~ It's filled with preserved food."
Luffy pouted indignantly (◦`~´◦).
"How do you know before we even open it!"
Nami blinked. "Doesn't it say 'Gift to the Sea God' on it? This is called a 'floating barrel,' offered by people to the guardian deity of the sea to pray for a safe voyage."
"'Gift to the Sea God' means an offering to the gods."
"What... Then we got it for nothing," Usopp grumbled dejectedly, squatting on the ground looking pitiful.
Zoro stared at the barrel, his eyes sparkling with excitement, then he jumped down from the crow's nest without hesitation. "Since it's already been retrieved, let's drink it!"
Usopp, hearing this, suddenly looked up, a terrified expression on his face. "Idiot! Doing that will incur divine wrath!!"
"As long as you've prayed, you can still drink it, though," Nami said with a cheerful wave of her hand.
Zoro retorted expressionlessly, "I won't pray to any god."
Nami smiled slightly, "I heard that wine that has been bathed by the waves tastes even more mellow. You just need to drink it all and put new wine in."
Franky, hearing Nami's words, also enthusiastically gathered around, shaking the barrel with them.
Luffy, meanwhile, struck a rather unconventional praying pose towards the sky, muttering, "Thank you, God, for the wine you sent us... We're going to enjoy it now!"
Seeing this scene, Zoro couldn't help but feel speechless. "Who exactly was it that punched God out of Sky Island? If God really exists, you should have been struck down by divine wrath a long time ago."
Orochimaru had absolutely no interest in this, he yawned, only to see the barrel instantly explode, a crimson fire shooting up into the sky, exploding in mid-air, and his expression instantly became serious.
"I hope this is just a prank. Our ship might be targeted next," Robin's expression was uncharacteristically serious.
"Could it be! This is a trap! As soon as we opened the barrel, our position was exposed to others! Chopper, quickly check the surroundings!!!" Usopp shrieked in terror, his voice cracking.
Nami felt the surrounding wind, her expression gradually becoming grave. "Everyone, to your stations! We need to escape to the southeast!! A storm is coming in 5 minutes!"
Everyone immediately sprang into action, no one doubting Nami's words.
Soon, a violent wind blew. Orochimaru and Zoro worked together to secure the sails, but it was a headwind, and the entire sunny's hull was shaking.
"Forget it! Take down the sails! We need to use the paddle wheels, otherwise we'll be blown back!"
The sails were taken down, and two huge wheels suddenly appeared on either side of the sunny, propelling it into an unknown area. Smoke enveloped the surroundings, sending shivers down their spines.
The group menacingly surrounded the trembling cowardly trio. "This is the infamous Devil's Triangle, a mysterious sea where anything and everything strangely disappears. This ghostly domain is haunted, and there are even living skeletons."
"Don't scare him anymore," Sanji lit a match, looking at Usopp, who was hugging Chopper, then glanced at Luffy and Orochimaru. The three's thought processes instantly synchronized.
"Listen, Usopp, it's said that over 100 ships mysteriously disappear here every year." Sanji held the match under his chin.
"And there are also ghost Captains carrying the dead wandering around." The firelight illuminated Sanji's face, and Luffy and Orochimaru stretched their necks, entwining themselves on either side of Sanji. Sanji instantly turned his head, Luffy and Orochimaru stuck out and elongated their tongues. Under the firelight, the three's faces were grim as they stared at Usopp.
Usopp was so scared he turned purple, hugging Chopper, he lay down peacefully, tears like wide noodles streaming down his face.
The three secretly lowered their heads, covering their mouths, their shoulders shaking.
Just then, a huge wooden ship drifted over... A gentle, ethereal chanting sound emanated from the dilapidated wooden ship.
"Yo~ho...ho...ho..."
