Chapter 12 – Three That Cannot Coexist
Three attributes at once???!
Am I not supposed to get only one? Why did I receive three? And why do they all share the same name? What does this even mean...
I could accept the idea of three attributes and find a solid excuse for it.. like my 80% Luck, which alone attracts unique things like attributes.. but..
For all those attributes to have the exact same name? It truly feels strange.. and then?
Monali said that attributes are divided into General ones that any number of people can possess.. or Special ones that only one person possesses, granted upon ascending each rank.. but what about that last Unique attribute?
Is it what Monali also mentioned under the name of "Random Attributes"?? Yes.. it must be a random attribute that doesn't follow the ranking system.. but again.. why do they all share the same name?
There is no explanation or alert in the system.. only the name: "The Seer."
I could ask Monali... no, that wouldn't be a wise move. It's not that I don't trust her, but
Since we are in a world with such a variety of attributes, why wouldn't there be someone with an attribute to read minds? Yes, I might have some kind of fortification against that, but what about my followers?

Working hours have ended.. they refused to let today be a full holiday for celebration.. as soon as the party ended, everyone went back to their tasks.
Since those hours.. no significant change has occurred.. I haven't explored the new space yet.. and it was decided by consensus that Monali, Suman, and I would go in the morning to do so.. while Jo would stay behind for emergencies.
One could say that among everyone.. Jo and Monali are our only defensive and offensive forces. From any angle you look at it, this represents a problem..
Power is the measure.. without it, you are either a rat to be preyed upon or a cow to be milked..

"What a beautiful morning." I looked toward Monali and smiled.. she looked like she had stepped out of a magical book with a radiant glow.. while Suman looked like anyone else.. and he was carrying a bag with water and food for the journey.
Step by step.. we walked toward the unknown.. the forest began to deepen.. the sun started to disappear behind the tall trees.. the soil began to grow thicker.. as if we were walking on concrete from which vegetables sprouted.

I didn't actually know what these stones were. I'm seeing them for the first time, yet I know them now.. because of that attribute.
Hahaha.. it's a very suitable attribute for someone who loves searching for loot and exploration.
Well, there's no harm in carrying some of those stones back to the camp.. I approached with quiet steps and picked up a few... they were warm.. not hot.. but pleasantly warm, not burning the hand or causing discomfort.

-"What?" Monali replied with a look of surprise.. "But My Lord, did you earn Accumulation just from the presence of a red stone?"
"Yes.. you look like someone who didn't know that??"
-"My Lord.. seeing the Accumulation of these things..."

-"It is impossible, My Lord.."
"Why is it impossible? I've already earned 200 Accumulation points.. and another 200 from what's called the First Discovery."
-"This.... is beyond my knowledge, My Lord.. what I know.... is that everything in the heavens and earth possesses Accumulation.. but... anything with an Accumulation of less than 5,000.. its Accumulation cannot be harvested.."

Wait a second... the Special Seer.. it's for me alone? Right.. so when it activated, I actually started seeing the Accumulation of these things that have less Accumulation than what is usually recognizable?
So... have I become the Harvester of Accumulation that no one else can harvest?

"Hey Monali.. do the small stones in the space, the flowers, and the trees.. do they all possess Accumulation?"

The space that was opened for me shouldn't have taken all this time.. but.

It was enough to make me roam every inch of the place searching for things that grant them. Yes, most things had a negligible Accumulation.. but I have already come to possess this large amount.
I don't know if it's enough to pass the First Rank or not..
But? Am I in the First Rank? I haven't been notified that I've entered the Rank yet. How do I know that?

Finally.. light appeared from behind the trees.. it began to trickle through and increase with every step we took to exit the depth of the forest.

A medium-sized lake the color of the sky, surrounded by dozens of types of flowers.. dozens of musical sounds of singing birds emanate from it... and on the other side of it.. an open green space facing the sky with an indescribably magnificent appearance..
