All three of them shared the same goal and began pushing themselves even harder.
Sometimes they overdid it and hurt themselves, so Yuji would secretly switch Sukuna in to heal everyone with the Reverse Cursed Technique.
So I'm basically the team's healer… Sukuna thought as he mended Fushiguro's wounds.
Seeing the sea-urchin-haired brat freeze up and avoid eye contact made him itch to tease… No, no, hold back—Fushiguro finally lets me out; I've got to treasure this!
Ever since that birthday party the other night, even Fushiguro had silently agreed—so long as no one else noticed, letting Sukuna out for a bit was fine.
Now, when no outsiders were around, Sukuna could stroll out openly.
For Sukuna, the biggest perk was—
He could finally eat with the first- and second-years!
Not in the cafeteria, of course, but in the lounge on the dorm's ground floor.
One noon, the gang sneaked boxed meals back from the cafeteria and lined them up on the table.
Every first- and second-year showed up, squeezing together for the fun of it.
Yuji quickly swapped Sukuna in, and the King, dining with everyone for the first time, excitedly rubbed his palms.
He lifted his chopsticks, about to grab a bite—
—when he felt that familiar white-haired teacher pop up beside their table.
Gojo, who'd teleported in, took one look at the spread and immediately protested.
"How come you're having a party without inviting me?"
Sukuna: …This is just everyday cafeteria grub, not a banquet—why would we inform you?
"You've got no mission today? That free?"
Sukuna asked, slanting his eyes while picking food—
Everyone else was already wolfing it down like it was a contest; if he didn't move, he'd be left with plain rice!
"Ara~ don't sound so grumpy—look what I brought for you~"
Gojo whipped out an exquisitely wrapped box of chocolates and thrust it under Sukuna's nose—
—successfully stroking the foodie's fur the right way.
Sukuna glanced at it, expression satisfied.
Mm, since you're being so sincere, I'll overlook your interruption.
He set down his chopsticks, happily took the box, and started unwrapping it on the spot.
Gojo only ever brought top-shelf goodies; high-end snacks interested Sukuna far more than the meal itself.
These are… liquor-filled chocolates?
Looking at the plump, patterned, cone-shaped pieces, Sukuna hesitated.
Yuji can't drink yet… wait, no boozy smell? Just ordinary filled chocolates?
Relieved, Sukuna figured the white-haired bastard still remembered Yuji was underage.
Without guilt, he tossed one into his mouth and pushed the box to the center for everyone to help themselves.
Then—
His outstretched hand froze mid-air—
Tears burst from his eyes the next instant—!
What the hell—!!
How are these chocolates SPICY!!!
Help!! I'm dying!!—
Sukuna flung the chocolate away and sprinted toward the kitchen—
Waterwaterwaterwaterwater—!!!!!
The whole room gaped at the cyclone of Sukuna's disappearing back, then twitched their eyes toward the teacher trembling with laughter… what the hell did you do this time???
Fushiguro's chopsticks trembled until he finally snapped, face dark, and scolded his family's Three-Year-Old Satoru—
"Yuji still can't drink…"
Gojo raised both hands at once: "There's zero alcohol inside, not a drop!"
Fushiguro: "…?"
Then why is he…?
Gojo cheerfully added: "Just swapped in something else—like a tiny bit… no, make that an entire chunk of chili…"
Everyone: "…"
You might as well have used booze!!—
Aren't you scared Sukuna will beat you to death!!?
Gojo: …What could Three-Year-Old Satoru possibly be guilty of?
He simply wanted to see Sukuna cry—
That night at the birthday party, Sukuna had almost teared up but hadn't; he'd been curious for days!
Today he finally got his chance—thanks to a gag snack some overseas Jujutsu Sorcerer had sent him!
…And so that afternoon, red-eyed Sukuna chased Gojo through the dorm for hours, finally cornering him and pummeling him into submission.
Damn it… said he'd find a way to save Yuji and me—he's trying to send us straight to heaven!
He knows I can't stand spicy food!
The bastard nearly offed me with one bite!
Worried Yuji would suffer if they swapped, Sukuna endured it with Reverse Cursed Technique—he was furious!
No way I'm letting this go! The dorm's too cramped—just wait, there's still tonight!!
So that night, Sukuna rolled up his sleeves for round two… only to find the white-haired menace had vanished by dawn.
Sukuna:???!!!
Fine, Three-Year-Old Satoru—this feud just got serious!—
…As for how Gojo apologized, the mountain of snacks piled in Yuji's room afterward spoke for itself.
But that still wasn't the end—
Sukuna developed PTSD over Gojo's snacks; the next time Gojo came bearing gifts, Sukuna slammed the door and "warmly" invited him in—
—then made him open and taste every single snack.
Gojo stared at the snack mountain: "…"
Would he even survive one bite of each?
That night, whatever inhuman torment Satoru endured could be inferred from how he was carried out of Yuji's room—and the sympathetic looks Yuji gave him ever after.
Everyone shared the same opinion.
—Serves you right!!
—Finally, someone can rein you in!!
—Nice job, Sukuna! Don't go easy on him!~
The tossed-out Gojo clutched his aching heart—and aching stomach—and miserably vanished for two days.
Sukuna felt the air itself grow fresher; in those quiet days, he even found time to coach Yuji on Cursed Techniques.
Yet after only a couple of idle days, he realized the downside.
—No Gojo meant no missions.
No missions meant no cash—he couldn't keep buying his favorite snacks!
So he generously forgave Three-Year-Old Satoru and looked forward to more Grade 1 assignments.
Gojo: …Confirmed, I'm just a brick—put me wherever I'm needed.
Sukuna: No-no, how could you be a brick?
—You're clearly the vault.
—The really huge kind.
And so, between squabbles of two six-year-olds combined, Yuji received a nightly "Grade 1 Curse Tour" package.
A different Grade 1 Curse beat him senseless every night.
Um… could we turn the frequency down a notch?
Give the Grade 1 Curses—and me—a chance to survive, yeah?
