"Everyone! Everyone!!" Killian roared.

"Get him! Tear him apart! Melt him!!"

"Die—!!!"

On the deck, the remaining twenty-odd Extremis soldiers, like a pack of enraged Beasts, surged towards Anthony simultaneously from all directions!

They intended to use their scorching high temperatures to roast this blond bastard alive into charcoal!

"No! Homelander! Get out of the way!" Rhodes instinctively shouted.

"Danger!!" Tony also raised his last remaining palm cannon.

Anthony stood at the center of the storm.

He slowly... closed his eyes.

"It's really too noisy. Sometimes I really don't want this super hearing."

He said softly.

The next second, he opened his eyes.

Those clear blue eyes were instantly filled with a fiery crimson!

"Sizzle—!!!!!"

Anthony's eyes shot out death rays! 5000 degrees Celsius!

He began to spin.

He was like an elegant ballerina, slowly turning in a circle where he stood.

Those two Heat Visions, like two indestructible sharp blades, swept across the entire battlefield with him as the center.

Time, it seemed, slowed down.

Tony Stark, through his damaged faceplate, witnessed a scene he would never forget in his life.

An Extremis soldier was leaping high, pouncing towards Anthony.

Heat Vision... swept across his waist.

His upper body still maintained the pouncing posture in the air, but his lower body... had already separated from his torso.

"Thud." "Thud." "Thud."

The seven or eight Extremis soldiers at the very front were all, without exception, cut in half at the waist.

Their upper bodies fell to the ground, still twitching.

"Ah... ah..." A soldier, with only half a body left, looked down at his empty lower half and let out a tragic roar.

"It's not over yet."

Anthony raised his head.

Heat Vision... turned into a cutting machine.

"Sizzle—! Sizzle—! Sizzle—!"

He was like a cold artist, using a paintbrush to... dissect these "human furnaces."

Vertical cuts, horizontal cuts, diagonal cuts.

Arms, thighs, torsos, heads.

In just three seconds, those twenty-odd arrogant Extremis soldiers were all... sliced into pieces.

Three minutes later.

Anthony retracted his Heat Vision, and his eyes returned to their clear blue.

He stood in the center of a pile of... severed limbs, his body spotless.

His Star-Spangled Cape remained pristine.

...

"Ugh..." President Ellis was the first to be overwhelmed. He leaned on the railing and began to vomit violently.

"My... God..." Colonel Rhodes, with a clang, disengaged his Patriot armor and rushed to the President's side, gently patting his back.

Tony Stark stood rooted to the spot, unmoving.

He looked at the scattered "parts" on the ground, then at that smiling face, feeling an unsettling sense of wrongness... a chill ran up his spine.

"Demon... you demon!!"

Only Killian remained, looking at the "artwork" scattered across the ground, his mind clearly on the verge of collapse.

"Oh, you're not dead yet?" Anthony pretended to have just noticed him.

"No... don't come closer!" Killian scrambled backward, tripping over himself.

"Don't you dare come closer!!"

"I... I still have a hostage!!" Killian suddenly remembered something and lunged towards a half-open container.

"Pepper!!" Tony remembered too!

Killian rushed into the container and dragged out a woman.

Pepper Potts!

She looked very weak, and her body was emitting the orange-red glow of Extremis.

"Don't move!!" Killian clamped his hand around Pepper's neck, his hand already starting to glow red.

"Tony..." Pepper said weakly.

"Let her go! Killian! You son of a bitch!!" Tony raised his palm cannon.

"Come at me!!"

"Too late, Tony!" Killian's face was distorted with madness.

"You'll all die! I want her dead! I want you to watch her..."

"Hey."

Anthony's voice suddenly rang in Killian's ear.

Killian's pupils contracted sharply.

"...What? My fuck!"

He realized... he wasn't on the dock anymore.

He realized... Tony and Pepper were... below him?

He... was in the sky!

Anthony, at some unknown moment, had grabbed Killian with a speed beyond human visual limits and lifted him thousands of meters into the night sky.

"Deep breaths, dizziness is normal..." Anthony faced Killian, his smile unchanged.

"Ah—! Let me down! You monster! Let go of me!! You can't kill me!" Killian struggled frantically in mid-air.

"Why can't I?"

"Because... because I am... Ahhh—!!"

Anthony's eyes lit up again.

This time, the Heat Vision didn't cut him open.

Instead...

"Sizzle—!!!"

Two slender Heat Visions precisely pierced through Killian's eyes!

...

Killian's scream stopped abruptly.

His brain, in 0.01 seconds, was completely roasted into protein charcoal by the 5000-degree heat.

Anthony let go.

Killian's corpse, like a rag, tumbled and plummeted back to the dock... onto the oil tanker deck.

Tony Stark finally broke free from his tattered armor.

He rushed to Pepper, and the two embraced tightly.

"Tony... I... I'm so hot... I..." Pepper's body flickered with light.

"It's okay, Pepper, I'm here. I can cure you, I definitely can..."

"Cough cough."

A slight cough interrupted this "moving" reunion.

Anthony slowly descended from the sky.

He landed in front of the two, his Star-Spangled Cape draped perfectly behind him.

"You..." Tony looked at him, his eyes complex. "Thank you for saving her... saving us."

"I'm just saving the World, Tony." Anthony's smile was flawless. "Your little iron cans..."

He casually glanced at the Iron Man wreckage on the deck.

"...didn't hold up, did they?"

"You!" Tony felt his self-esteem greatly insulted.

"As for her..." Anthony's X-ray vision brazenly swept over Pepper Potts's body.

"Extremis... very interesting. But it doesn't seem very stable."

"Don't look at her!!" Tony, like an enraged lion, shielded Pepper.

"Relax, Tony." Anthony retracted his gaze. He knew that Tony himself could handle this virus.

His gaze turned to the "valuable item" still vomiting in the corner.

"Mr. President." Anthony's voice became "gentle."

"Ah... yes! Mr. Homelander!" President Ellis wiped his mouth and stumbled over. "Thank you! Thank you for saving... saving the United States!"

"It's nothing, Mr. President." Anthony patted the President's shoulder.

"I'll take you back to the White House now. The reporters are waiting for you."

"Then... what about them?" The President pointed at Tony and Pepper.

"Oh, Mr. Stark?" Anthony smiled.
