The squad ventured into the lawless territory. The captain watched them leave, and then he went back. The squad went deep into the territory and moved through the vast plains.
"We will not go inside any settlement, town, or village. We are not going to attract unwanted attention." Elna announced. The others nodded in response.
Elna took out her map and positioned her arrow in the same way as before. She then took out her compass and tried to find the place where they were supposed to go. She understood and placed the things in her bag.
"Okay…Follow me." She said and began to move.
The others followed, and they picked up pace.
Deris and his men swiftly went through the forest, went further southeast and left the kingdom. They were far away from the border guards. As they reached an overdrop, they stopped. Deris squinted his eyes and saw four horses far away on his right. He understood it was the Cerfisians.
"We will maintain this distance and chase them," Deris ordered, and the Morl Riders continued their chase.
The squad moved through the vast plains, avoiding all the lawless settlements. After some time, a lone farmhouse began to be visible in the distance. They continued their journey in that direction. And after riding for some time, they arrived at the farmhouse.
The farmhouse was relatively old and felt as if it were about to fall. The area inside the fences was empty. There were no animals, not even grass.
They got near the farmhouse and tied their horses. They headed towards the farmhouse and opened the barn door. As they opened it, dust followed, and they covered their faces. When the dust settled, a lady appeared at the other end, sitting on hay, wearing a yellow robe over her white clothes, drinking tea.
'The fourth sky,' Felmer thought.
"I presume you are from Cerfis?" The lady asked.
"Yes…I am Felmer Gorbin…" Felmer was interrupted by the lady.
"The 456th heir of Cerfis." She took a sip of her tea. "I am aware, master Felmer. The third sky informed me. You arrived faster than I expected." She put the cup aside, stood up, and walked up to them. "I am Wetiska Alore. The fourth sky."
The squad looked at her and nodded.
"The third sky spoke highly of you, master Felmer. I am assured that you will easily pass the fourth trial."
"Isn't that supposed to be hard as well?" Felmer asked.
"No…Not for you. If you passed the first three easily, you will pass this as well. Nothing is hard about this one."
"Why?"
"I don't know…You should ask yourselves why it will be easy. I have nothing to hide." She grabbed Felmer's hand and led him outside the barn into the open. "You have to use what you learned in the past three trials, put it all here, and get the fifth and the last rock. This is the last trial."
"Wait…The last? Then why the fifth clue?" Melfer asked.
"There won't be any clue. You will only get the fourth rock. Then you will set off to the last location and obtain the badge." Wetiska explained.
