Chapter 107 - Chapter 107: Devils Discussion

"Ahem, Ajuka, do you need some private space?"

"Yeah, yeah, after all, it counts as your family matter~"

Sirzechs reminded his friend, while the carefree Serafall merely gave Ajuka a teasing look.

"No need! Official matters are more important."

Ajuka sighed in response. This devil servant was his personal guard, and all information obtained had gone through rigorous investigation.

From ancient times to the present, internal strife within the devil race had never fully ceased. It was impossible not to keep a close watch, even on his blood relative Diodora and the entire Astaroth family.

He and Sirzechs were both striving for the continuation of the devil race. Any further internal conflict was absolutely unacceptable.

Diodora's fondness for playing with nuns or holy maidens—he thought he concealed it well, but in the Underworld's devil organizations, it could not withstand investigation at all.

All of Diodora's followers were reincarnated devils who had once been nuns or holy maidens. If the Underworld hadn't investigated that, it would have meant their heads were filled with garbage.

Ajuka had long known of Diodora's supposedly well-hidden hobby and had not cared much about it at the time.

What he cared more about was that Diodora, this blood relative, was colluding with the Old Satan faction in an attempt to overthrow the Underworld's ruling system. In Ajuka's eyes, Diodora was merely a tool used to help devils probe and gather intelligence on the Old Satan faction.

Now that something had happened, it was likely that Diodora had gone to the human world and run into someone he shouldn't have provoked. After all, constantly abducting Church nuns and holy maidens to toy with them—sooner or later, Diodora was bound to encounter someone he couldn't afford to offend.

Walk by the river long enough, and your shoes will get wet.

Growing somewhat weary of the matter, Ajuka asked the servant, "Where exactly did Diodora go in the human world during these last few days?"

"Reporting to you, my lord, it was… Chiba, Japan. The area that you instructed our informants to pay close attention to."

Bang!

A furious slam echoed as Ajuka struck the table. His face instantly darkened. His irritation transformed into anger and impatience. Even Sirzechs and Serafall, who were merely listening, turned serious and looked at the devil servant.

"This is outrageous! That place is now crawling with otherworldly dragons, plus the daughter of the Emperor of Demise and that 'Center of the World.' The forces there are in complete chaos! We already issued strict warnings to young devils not to go to that area of the human world. What kind of nerve did Diodora have to go there!?"

"A few days ago, a power so immense that even Sirzechs and I felt chilled crossed over this world. I even went to the Pandevilium to ask the First Beelzebub. That otherworldly Feathered Serpent God has already come to the human world!!!"

Ajuka was practically seething. The usually elegant and dignified Satan rarely cursed like this.

He could now be certain that Diodora, that unlucky brat, had definitely encountered someone he absolutely could not provoke. Forget about his body—even his soul would not have survived.

What he initially thought was merely an incident that could be handled calmly had now escalated into a matter of the highest severity because of Diodora.

They had already issued extremely serious warnings to the younger generations and even some elders not to go near the Japan area of the human world. Previously, Tohru had gone berserk and wiped out batch after batch of intruders, forcing all informants to conduct surveillance from several kilometers away.

Chiba, Japan hadn't experienced any major incidents yet, but the power struggles there were far too chaotic, involving both otherworldly and native forces.

Tohru, the Daughter of teh Emperor of Demise, and the legendary Netherworld necromancer—just these two heavyweight figures alone were already enough to draw countless eyes. A few days ago, however, another existence descended there as well: the Feathered Serpent God who suddenly crossed over from another world.

Who was the Feathered Serpent God? That was a supreme powerhouse who had once visited this world back when it was still in ancient times. The legends left behind about this being existed only as one of the Mesopotamian creation gods and supreme deities.

When that being was active across various worlds, none of the devils present today had even been born.

Any faction that knew this being's true origins classified them as an existence that must never be provoked under any circumstances.

The moment Ajuka and Sirzechs sensed Lucoa's cross-world arrival, they were extremely tense.

After confirming that she had landed in the human world, specifically in the land of Japan, they immediately ordered all their informants to retreat several more kilometers. Without orders, no one was allowed to act on their own. Anyone who dared disobey would be severely punished under collective responsibility.

In other words, if you dared to disobey, every existence connected to you would be dragged in as well.

Because of this matter, Ajuka, the current Satan Beelzebub, even made a special trip to the Netherworld's special devil region to consult that lord. Only then did he learn from that individual what kind of existence had arrived in the human world.

"It seems very likely that this young devil from the Astaroth family was eliminated by some of the powerful beings there."

Sirzechs did not particularly care whether this devil, Diodora, was dead or alive. Even Ajuka himself did not pay much attention to this blood relative.

What he was truly worried about was whether Diodora had provoked something he should not have in that place. If he had brought trouble upon the devil race, then even if he were not dead, Ajuka would not let him off lightly.

His younger sister Rias had no bad habits. From childhood to adulthood, she had never caused him any trouble. She simply did not like that person from the Phenex Clan.

Although the inheritance of pure-blooded devils was important, as her older brother, he cared more about his sister's happiness.
