Chapter 99- Grandmother (Part 1)
*A week later*
Several days passed since the incident that happened in the forest. Surprisingly, everything seemed to have ended rather underwhelmingly. There were no major repercussions for the fight between Geralt and the Vampire Noble, and for some reason, no trace of the vampire was found again, even after a thorough search of the entire forest by the Vaylor clan.
It was like the earth had opened up and swallowed him, leaving no trace behind. Nobody understood how or why that even happened. But, with so little to work with, they assumed he ran back to his world through some sort of teleportation trick that they didn't know.
The few days after were peaceful and quiet; nothing out of the ordinary happened for a long while, which, for Elio, raised many red flags.
