Elio was an average person. Below average, even. He had no redeeming qualities, living alone in a small apartment in the city. He struggled to find money to survive and live his high school life. He was a loner with no friends, and the reason for that was... He believed that there were monsters who had the appearance of humans living amongst them, and those monsters killed humans and ate them.

"Yes, I did. I was also able to increase a few stats because of it, so it was pretty good, if I have to say. I feel a lot more comfortable using energy and manipulating it. It's a lot better than even yesterday."


"Good. The progress shouldn't stagnate much for a while longer, so you will keep training daily on that."


"You will also continue with the second theory book later today. The concepts will get a bit more complex, so you can ask me whenever you get stuck on something." She said. "For now, we will be moving to the next step in training."


"Yes. We have spent the first 9 days building your foundation and making sure you learn the basics. Now, we will be starting the most important parts of the training. How to actually fight."
