Chapter 39- Grandma (Part 2)
The first period passed normally. Surprisingly, Elio was able to easily focus even though his mind was occupied with a million thoughts. He didn't know if that was some sort of effect from his Blood Energy or not, but he was certain that his mind was a lot clearer than usual, and his ability to think felt faster and way less obstructed than ever before.
That helped keep his level of understanding on par with the rest of the class, even when he had a million other things he was going to do. When the bell rang, Elio immediately stood up and left in a hurry.
"Did you bring your lunch today, too, Miss Fiona?" A student asked with an eager look on his face.
The girl completely ignored him as she stared back at Elio, leaving in a hurry. Her eyes squinted for a split second before she turned to face the boy.
'What is up with him?' Fiona asked herself. She felt off about it, but she couldn't tell why.
"Ummm, Miss Fiona?"
