Chapter 30- Sweet~
For the next hour or so, Elio slowly did the 50 push-ups and 50 crunches. It turned out to be harder than he expected. His exhausted body was already not ready for that much stress, but he didn't let himself stop. He was able to enter the same focused state he was in before and push himself again, albeit not as hard this time.
His Blood Energy helped boost all his physical power and keep his mind from breaking down. He wasn't aware of it, as it was all passive and hard to notice.
"Come on, Elio. Don't stop. A few more." Fiona kept encouraging him as she watched from the side. "Keep the straight posture and focus on your technique as I've shown you. I need you to go all the way down and up."
Her words were calm and clear, yet they helped a lot in keeping Elio from giving up.

[Your strength increased by 1 point.]
The moment he finished the exercises, his rune gave him that satisfying notification.
"Whoa! It increased again! My stamina and strength increased." He said. "Is this normal, Fiona? It seems like I'm getting so many points."
"No, it is far from normal. Gaining power is a gradual and rather slow process. Even for people like us. Usually, it would take a day or two to regain the power you gained in the past hour. But, your Blood Energy is so high that it is able to rapidly absorb the changes and turn it into strength."
'Even his energy is already perfectly assimilated with his body. It should've taken a day or two for him to get familiar with it. But, I guess the fact he had so much Blood Energy before he even awakened made his body adapt almost instantly.' She mused. 'Already gained 5 points of power within two hours… Monstrous, utterly monstrous.'
She didn't know if this growth was going to continue or not, but at this rate, Elio was going to become ridiculously strong in a short period of time.
"Mmmm, I kind of feel that I'm a bit stronger now. Like, my muscles have more energy. It's not a lot, though." He said.
"At this rate, you will be very much ready for the test in three months."
'Might even shatter my highest expectations at this rate too.' She mused.
"Can you continue, Elio?" She asked.
"Yes, of course! I'm feeling ok!"
"..." Seeing the excited look on his face, Fiona could only sigh and shake her head. Something told her that her training with him was going to be a very interesting time. Just like every other second she spent with him ever since she found him that night… Elio had kept drawing her eyes toward him without even trying.
Without realizing it, Fiona started simply looking forward to seeing what this mysterious boy would do in the future.

After that, Elio did several other training exercises. Most of them didn't involve any weights as they were more about conditioning his body than actual power training. However, even then, he still gained 3 more points across two more hours of training.
By the time it was completely night, and the sun was gone, Fiona finally ended the training. She could see that Elio had reached his limit and couldn't continue any further, or she might risk injuring him.
So, they called it a night, and Elio left the estate at around 10 PM. He was dragging his tired feet back home.
'That was brutal. I feel so tired I can barely move.' He mused. 'I need to at least buy something to eat on the way back home.'
Sucking a deep breath, Elio continued his path to the convenience store. Getting a light dinner, he reached him soon after and threw himself on the bed with his face buried in the pillow.
"Ugh… I'm so exhausted." He cursed. "I need to eat but… I can't… move…"
Before he could even muster any strength to move, Elio found himself drifting into deep slumber. All the exhaustion from that day just swept his mind, and he was quickly out.
That night, Elio oddly didn't dream. He was simply asleep, with his clothes still on and barely covered with his blanket.
The clock on his wall ticked rhythmically. The window was closed, and the room was completely dark. The atmosphere was eerily quiet; even the cars outside and their occasional noise stopped at some point. Then, the clock itself stopped ticking, and the entire room was submerged in a darkness unlike anything.
Elio didn't feel any of that as he was still completely asleep. If he were awake, every fiber of his being would feel a crippling fear. The feeling of suffocation would've made him stop moving.
Slowly, the window next to his bed opened on its own, letting a dark mist seep in. The mist was thick, almost like it could be grabbed. Crawling on the wall and then on his bed, it got on top of him before it started taking shape. A human shape.
Beautiful, exquisite curves, and the form of the most seductive woman one could imagine.
"Mmmm~" The mist eventually cleared, revealing the most gorgeous woman one could see in their lives. Everything about her was perfect, and her aura exuded a strong seduction that even the purest of hearts couldn't resist.
Her perfect and smooth body was clad in a black dress, barely covering her voluptuous chest and perfect legs.
"Mmmm, you took more time to come back home today, darling~" She whispered as she stared at him, her eyes red and filled with a strong feeling of desire. Everything about her being seemed like a manifestation of desire.
"Did they exhaust you today, too? My sweet boy~" She whispered as she leaned forward, her midnight black hair falling down like a waterfall.
"I missed you today. I missed your innocent look, your beautiful eyes… Your sweet, sweet… blood…" Her tongue slowly ran across Elio's neck. Two sharp fangs protruded from her mouth. "I want you… I want that blood~ Give it to me, darling. I need it all… I need it, but I must not drink it all… Drinking a bit of it is the sweetest form of torture I have ever felt."
Her eyes were slowly getting clouded, losing control of herself as her tongue took a taste of Elio's skin.
Then, she slowly started sinking her fangs deep into him, ready to suck his delicious blood. She had waited the entire day for this moment, and she couldn't contain herself anymore.
Her fangs touched the warm blood as she started sucking it in. However, the moment she tasted the first droplet of blood, her entire being felt a strong shock, as if she had been hit by a train.
"W-What…" She jumped back, her entire body spasming. Her eyes were wide, and her face was flushed.
'What is this energy… S-So much energy… I'm feeling… aaaaaah~'
Every fiber of her being felt a pleasure so deep she couldn't think anymore. Just a mere droplet of blood made her lose her mind. So much so that the veil she put on herself disappeared.
Then, she heard a voice speak.
"Huh? What is happening?"
