Chapter 227 - İki Yüz Yirmi Yedi

Alyon would take his place among the unforgettable figures in the history of the Wild Swamp continent today; this orc, who had previously caused moments of utter silence, had now written history with the voices of the soldiers behind him.

"We are with you!"

This was the answer the grey-haired Alyon received to his question; the emotions he could no longer keep inside were met with the same enthusiasm.

The Grey Hyena Organization had always managed these people under their command with fear and a ridiculous hierarchy that made them feel inferior. Just as they had submitted to this and gotten used to living as if it were the only reality of life, a savage orc whom they barely knew was promising them the things they needed most.

Alyon had heralded the respect they deserved just for being human and a leader who trusted them enough to turn his back comfortably; how could they not scream at the top of their lungs?

"We attack with my move!"

The orc warrior wasn't speaking, he was practically roaring; every time the soldiers behind him stomped their feet with ambition, the metal walls of the last outpost they came to besiege trembled.

The Black Lily Warriors positioned on the Mobile Fortress were captivated by the sounds descending upon their hearts like a nightmare; their self-confidence, which had peaked because four outposts had gathered in one place, had hit rock bottom due to the image of the evolved humans before them.

"Do not fear! These walls were manufactured to withstand the attacks of a third-level soul warrior; even Lord Galeno himself cannot easily destroy them!"

Inside the last outpost, a commander was shouting to fix the morale of the paralyzed units; what he said wasn't a lie either, the Mobile Fortress possessed exactly the features he mentioned.

While four of the five commanders were busy raising the zeal of their warriors, one stood on the walls watching the orc holding his weapon above his head.

"No, this cannot be; how can an ignorant orc succeed in channeling his energy into his weapon?"

The person watched by the commander, who bombarded himself with questions not to believe what his eyes saw, was none other than Alyon.

The cultivation of the commander, seeing the energy accumulating in the hulking orc's massive weapon, was quite low, befitting the place he was responsible for; if he could see where this energy came from, perhaps he would faint right there from excitement.

"Now you have become my warriors; if you grant me your fury, I will offer you whatever I have in my hands!"

Chief's Wrath

A mad flow of energy was streaming from the soldiers—who were frantically hitting the ground with their feet and their shields with the axes in their hands—toward the hulking orc. What accumulated on Abarran's freakish weapon was exactly the result of this passionate loyalty.

Alyon couldn't ignore this generosity; he too was playing his biggest card. Even if he wasn't aware of it himself, he was a born leader; perhaps his feeling of inadequacy was simply because he didn't know what could happen when he integrated with the warriors he took behind him.

"Charge!"

After his war cry that shook the earth and sky, the hulking orc warrior swung the weapon he held above his head ruthlessly downward; the jet-black energy that had been accumulating on the axe for a while was finally set free.

Alyon's attack never touched the ground; instead, it glided toward its target like a crescent moon hanging in the sky. The walls of the Mobile Fortress were more than twenty paces high; someone standing on them could look down on those below with great pride, but right now, an attack that would belittle them was approaching at full speed right before their eyes.

"Run!"

A warrior, whose tongue was untied the moment Alyon's energy attack touched the walls, could utter only a single word; this was likely his last word, just as it was for hundreds of his comrades-in-arms.

If someone had the chance to see both the attack Lord Galeno made on the empty Main Support Headquarters and the one Alyon was making right now, I am sure they would be quite surprised by the similarity between them.

Both had shattered the wall they hit and advanced through the military unit; the attacks, whose effects didn't dissipate, had only ended somewhere far away after destroying the second wall standing directly opposite.

Even if the bushy-haired old man wasn't, the hulking orc was lucky; unlike the attack that passed through the empty headquarters, his would seize the opportunity to show its glory with the blood it spilled.

"Attack! Follow the commander orc!"

"Let no one die! We will go to the Orc Steppes all together!"

Alyon, moving to enter through the breach opened in the walls, had already mounted his power animal and put a distance of five lengths between himself and the soldiers behind him. How could the soldiers under the influence of the Chief's Wrath stand still in the face of this scene?

The sounds coming from behind were ringing in the grey-haired orc's ears; in the face of the condition of his warriors who had assumed a completely different mood, he felt compelled to take responsibility.

Only this time was very different from the other; in the war they waged against the Black Bear, Alyon had wanted to do everything himself, and this would bring about the greatest defeat he experienced in his life, which could be considered short.

Now, however, he was a leader in the true sense; even though he would handle the big part of the job himself again, the situation was indeed completely different. In these moments, he knew there was a bond between him and the crowd running like mad behind him; while feeling their strengthening hand on his back, he could see the invisible threads coming out of him establishing a connection with everyone in some way.

"Make way, you heedless fools!"

The warriors gathered in front of the breach opened in the walls by the giant weapon's attack were waiting to meet their enemies; even though many of their friends died before their eyes, they were obliged to do this not to join them.

Unfortunately, there was a mistake in this calculation; an orc coming accompanied by the screams of his primal instincts, which he had stimulated to the extreme, would crush them.

Alyon, overcoming the futile barricade, had arrived at the center of the established Mobile Fortress in two breaths; surrounded by enemies on four sides, the hulking orc felt himself abnormally calm.

His warriors were not late in following him either; while advancing on the path he opened, they were scattering death around them. The grey-haired orc warrior's technique, while giving power to the units under his command, was breaking the enemy's resistance, causing the needle of the struggle to turn to his side.

"Strike! Break! Shatter! Today is the day you are reborn!"

Despite being in the middle of thousands of enemies, Alyon's voice, blowing like a hurricane, echoed on the metal walls; at the same moments, somewhere far away, another orc also had things to say.

Since entering the Wild Swamp continent, Nafız had been advancing by managing events from the background; unless necessary, she hadn't even reached for her weapons. Actually, the female orc didn't want to break this stance, but those inside the headquarters facing her were a bit different from the outpost guards among whom her friend was spreading terror.

In the support headquarters, warriors with relatively higher cultivation were stationed, and right now, with the confidence given by the walls they stood behind, they didn't hesitate to utter quite bold words.

"Welcome, army of incompetents lined up behind an orc whore!"

The words of someone who had gathered his belongings, fled backward, and hidden between four walls would have no effect on Nafız, but the faces of the soldiers coming with her fell.

Seeing this, Dimitar would want to step forward and speak, but a thin green arm blocking his path prevented him.

"And these call themselves soldiers; come on dear, at best you would be mercenary dogs!"

Seeing the situation in the siege army, the loudmouth continued his provocations without slowing down; the morale of the soldiers, who couldn't respond because of the female orc's prevention, had rapidly hit rock bottom.

"Lift your heads up, you retards!"

Nafız hadn't been riled up by a few tactless fools; her concern was carrying out the action that would ensure she was at the determined place at the hour agreed upon with her friend.

"In a moment, I will open a path for you to enter the fortress and tear apart those running their mouths about you, but before that, I have an important warning!"

These words, coming at the moment they lost their desire to fight, had the effect of a drop of water falling on lips dried by desert heat on the siege units.

"Mark my words: if you want to remain in one piece, do not come within ten steps of me!"
