When she entered the kitchen, her eyes widened in surprise at the sight before her. The table was set beautifully, adorned with her favourite pancakes, steam still rising from the fluffy stacks. Nila walked closer, her heart swelling with appreciation. Just as she turned to find Jaekyeon, he called out to her affectionately.
"Yes, princess?" he replied, a smile on his face.
She felt the comforting warmth of his presence as he hugged her from behind, a safety net in the busy world they navigated together. Turning slightly, Nila looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Did you cook for me?" she asked, genuinely surprised.
Jaekyeon hummed cheerfully, teasing her a little. "Baby, can't I make anything for you?"
Nila chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "No, it's not that. I'm just surprised!" A smile spread across her face as she took in the effort he had put into making her morning special. "Shall we eat?"
"Of course, baby. I've been waiting for you to get ready," he said, gesturing for her to sit down. He leaned in closer, adding, "And one more thing—I'll drop you at the office today, so no worries about being late."
Her heart warmed at his thoughtfulness. Nila nodded, her smile brightening even more. She eagerly filled her plate and took a bite of the pancake. "It's so good! I didn't think you were this good at cooking," she exclaimed, her mouth too full to express perfectly.
Jaekyeon laughed, his eyes twinkling with delight. "Yep, only for you," he replied, a sense of pride in his voice.
As they sat together, sharing laughter and breakfast, Nila felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. These moments, filled with love and care, made all the difference in their bustling lives. And with each pancake she savoured, she knew that no matter how hectic the day would get, her heart would always carry the warmth of mornings spent like this.
After breakfast, Jaekyeon started the car, his heart heavy as he drove. The morning sun poured through the windshield, but it did little to lift the sombre mood between him and Nila. They were both quiet, knowing that today marked the beginning of their separation for work. It felt unreal to think they wouldn't see each other every day, even though they had promised to stay connected.
Nila leaned her head on Jaekyeon's shoulder, seeking comfort in their familiar closeness. There was an unspoken bond between them, something deeper than just a romantic relationship. They had developed a soul connection over time, built on trust and shared dreams.
As they approached her office, Jaekyeon's heart sank further. The reality of their situation loomed over them like a dark cloud. They reached the parking lot, and as Nila prepared to exit the car, a wave of emotion washed over them both. They exchanged a lingering kiss and a warm hug, holding on tightly as if to freeze the moment in time.
"I'll call when I'm free. If you feel sad or lonely, just text me, okay? Don't forget that," Jaekyeon said, trying to sound cheerful despite the knot in his stomach.
"Okay, sir," Nila responded, her tone dripping with playful sarcasm.
Her words made him chuckle, a flicker of light in their otherwise heavy atmosphere. As she waved goodbye and stepped out of the car, a bittersweet smile played on both their lips. Jaekyeon watched her enter the building, the doors closing behind her, before he turned back to his own home.
He came back from dropping her off. he saw that his manager Kim was already in front of his house. He was just in the car for a minute, and after a few minutes he came out " Hey Hyun, when you came here ?" he asked his manager kim"I came here for an hour, but I can't see where you went?" the manager Kim asked jaekyeon.
"I just went out", he said and got inside the house "Oh, okay then, did you prepare your bag and things?" the manager Kim asked jaekyeon. jaekyeon didn't say anything, and silently entered the house.
Once inside, the weight of reality pressed down on him. With a sigh, he started to arrange and pack his belongings. He had a lot to prepare for, but it felt strangely empty without Nila by his side. Just then, his manager Kim helped him load things into the car, bringing him back to the present moment.
Eagerly, he pushed aside the bittersweet feelings, knowing that they would both be okay. Before getting inside, he watched the places where he had a lot of memories. His eyes filled with tears, he got inside the car with a heavy heart.
They started travelling. Jaekyeon looked outside through the window and remembered the memories. Suddenly, his eyes dropped a tear. He tried to hide it, but manager Kim already knew things " Here, take these tissues", he said and handed jaekyeon tissues " Oh, thank you Hyun", he grabbed tissues and said
"What happened? Did you like that place that much ?" the manager kim asked with a mysterious smile. Jaekyeon didn't say anything, just stared outside through the window. "Did you love her that much ?" The manager Kim asked while driving and turned to see Jaekyeon's face.
That question broke the silence in the car, "WHAT? jaekyeon asked his face turned tensed and confused " Nothing" manager Kim said with a smile jaekyeon nodded and stared through the window "Jaekyeon I knew you for a while .
Now if you're bothered by something just let me know maybe I can help you get out of them" manager kim kim said with a caring tone [actually manager Kim was a good person he supported jaekyeon from the beginning of his career.]
"Hyun" jaekyeon started talking "I want to tell you something I tried but I'm scared how you react I know you're a good person you care me more than anyone in the industry you care me like your own brother hyun I just fallin love with a girl" tears started to fall from his eyes "I'm sorry hyun I just keep it secret from you I'm really sorry jaekyeon said and started crying. "We need to talk", the manager Kim said and stopped the car in the parking area "Tell me everything", he said with a furious tone that made jaekyeon hurt more. He is also hurt, which makes him more hurt.
