Just then, Vargos—the commander of the Dark Goddess—rose from his place and, as he descended, spoke in a firm voice."Listen. One way or another, I will deliver the news of Umbraxos's death to Lord Killwish. But you all must try to find out as quickly as possible where the second part of that ancient armor is. As long as even a single fragment of that armor still exists, it can be reforged."
Having said this, Vargos began waiting for the arrival of the Dark Goddess.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Victoria was sitting in her room when she suddenly stood up, as if she had just remembered something important.
"What happened, Victoria? Why did you suddenly stand up like that? Is everything alright?" the Truth Fairy asked as she came closer, having been watching a movie on the laptop.
"In the rush, I left my car in that same black market where I caught Cheng and his boss. And if Dad or Mom happen to notice that car, it'll be very difficult to explain why I went to that location," Victoria said anxiously.
"Oh, then let's go back to the chalet and bring your car from there," the Truth Fairy said immediately as she took flight into the air.
"We can go there, but there's one problem," Victoria said as she sat back down on the bed.
"In a human life, there are always problems upon problems. Anyway, tell me, Victoria—what's the problem in going there and bringing your car back here?" the Truth Fairy asked, looking at her.
"Mom and Dad are about to return home, and if they see me going out at this time, they'll ask why I'm leaving when college is off today. And since the renovation of Olivia Tower hasn't even been completed yet, they'll question where I'm going in the first place," Victoria said, then fell silent.
Seeing Victoria troubled, the Truth Fairy said, "Look, Victoria, I don't want to trouble you any further, but if your parents come home and don't see your car in the parking lot, won't they ask the same question—where did your car go?"
After saying this, the Truth Fairy suddenly fell quiet, then continued, "Hey, you could also ask for help from that friend you met in college."
Hearing this, Victoria suddenly remembered Rozer, who was probably at his home right now. She immediately took out her phone and called him."Hello! Rozer, where are you?"
"Oh, Miss Beautiful! How did you suddenly remember me? Weren't you supposed to meet me last night? And then you didn't even show up," Rozer said from the other end, asking teasingly.
"Forget all that. Just tell me where you are right now, and whether you can urgently come to my house with your bike," Victoria said, cutting Rozer off mid-sentence.
"I can come, sure—but where exactly do you need to go? And what happened to your sports car? Don't tell me it broke down somewhere," Rozer said jokingly.
But hearing this, Victoria snapped and said angrily, "Look, just tell me if you can come. I need to go and get my car, which I parked somewhere and forgot."
Hearing this, Rozer replied in astonishment, "Alright, I'm coming. But how can someone forget their car after parking it somewhere? A person might forget their car keys once, but you're the first person I've met who parked her car somewhere and forgot the car itself." Saying this, Rozer started laughing over the phone.
"I'll explain everything to you on the way. Just hurry up and come to my house gate with your bike. Bye," Victoria said, and cut the call.
"What a strange girl she is. She herself doesn't even know what she wants to do. How can anyone forget their car after parking it somewhere? Anyway, what do I care. She's a friend—and friendship has to be honored," Rozer said to himself as these thoughts ran through his mind.
He picked up his bike keys and started heading downstairs, but just then the bracelet tied around his wrist began to glow, and seeing it, he grew uneasy.
However, the very next moment, he removed the bracelet and placed it on the table right there. Taking his bike keys, he set off toward Victoria's house, which was just one house away from his own.
Meanwhile, in Dark Heaven, Virgos saw that the Dark Goddess Aethna was returning along with her Charon guards.
"All hail Her Divine Majesty!" Virgos said, bowing his head before the Dark Goddess.
Dark Goddess Aethna nodded slightly, accepting his greeting. She then ascended and sat upon her throne and said, "Virgos! I just went to meet the commander of the planet Zapto, and he told me that when we attack Earth, his army will stand with us." Saying this, Aethna began to laugh.
"It makes me very happy to see you pleased, Dark Goddess. Very soon, all the planets of this universe will be under our control," Virgos said, and he too began to laugh.
But then Aethna suddenly remembered Umbraxos, and looking at Virgos, she asked, "Enough of all that! Tell me—has Umbraxos returned from Earth yet? By now, he should have come back with that piece of the armor."
Hearing Aethna's question, Virgos fell silent for a moment. Then, gathering himself, he replied, "Dark Goddess, Umbraxos also failed to retrieve that piece, and he was killed by that miraculous girl who calls herself the Secret Admiral. Along with this, that girl also destroyed the piece of the armor."
As he said this, Virgos immediately dropped to his knees before the Dark Goddess, fearing that in her rage Aethna might take his life.
But when Dark Goddess Aethna heard that Umbraxos had failed his mission as well and had been killed by the Secret Admiral, she screamed in fury. Her scream was like a thunderous roar that shook the entire universe, and as her anger erupted, her four man-eating wolves began to howl loudly.
"Forgive me, Your Divine Majesty!" Virgos pleaded, begging for mercy in the face of the Dark Goddess's wrath.
Blazing with anger, Aethna descended from her throne and moved toward Virgos, while her four wolves circled him with eyes that looked ready to devour him. But Aethna did not strike him. Instead, she gestured for him to stand. The moment he received her signal, Virgos immediately rose to his feet.
"Why are you asking forgiveness for Umbraxos's failure? Do you think I am so cruel that I would punish one for another's mistake? In any case, as long as even a single piece of that armor still exists, I have no problem with its destruction. Because from just one piece of the armor, the entire armor can be reforged. And I already knew that Umbraxos was dead.
Do this—go and find out where the second piece of that armor is hidden now, and obtain it before the Secret Admiral does. Until then, I will look for a way to deal with this Secret Admiral," Aethna said in a heavy voice as she looked at Virgos.
Hearing Aethna's words, Virgos left from there, and Aethna once again sat upon her throne, thinking about how she could possibly control the Secret Admiral.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Rozer had arrived outside Victoria's house on his bike.
"Where are you, madam? I'm standing at the gate of your house," Rozer said as he called Victoria.
"Oh, you've arrived already? Alright, I'm coming—just wait for two minutes," Victoria said from the other end and hung up the phone.
Then, looking at the Truth Fairy, Victoria said, "Truth, you stay here. I'll go with Rozer and bring my car back. Till then, relax and watch a movie on the laptop, because I won't take much time."
Saying this, Victoria left her room and went to meet Rozer at the main gate.
"Thanks, Rozer, for coming on such short notice," Victoria said as she sat on Rozer's bike.
"Madam, friends don't say thanks to each other—and anyway, friends are the ones who help in trouble. Now tell me, where do we have to go, and how did you even manage to forget your car?" Rozer asked as he started the bike.
"Just ride—I'll keep guiding you. And why are you acting as if you're doing me such a big favor? You're usually free at home anyway, so in a way, I'm the one helping you by adding some beautiful moments to your boring life. Not everyone gets the chance to ride around with a beautiful girl like me sitting on their bike. So, in a way, you should be the one thanking me," Victoria said, and burst out laughing.
Rozer was a decent boy, and he had grown up playing alongside Victoria since childhood. From those early days, he had liked her, yet he had never been able to express his feelings to her. In a way, Victoria was right—because when Rozer found out that Victoria wanted to go somewhere sitting behind him on his bike, he felt immense happiness in his heart. He only pretended on the outside that he was busy with something very important at home and that Victoria had disturbed him.
"Rozer, can I ask you something, if you don't mind?" Victoria said from the back seat.
Hearing her, Rozer laughed and said, "Victoria, ask whatever you want. Since when did you start being so formal with me?"
At Rozer's words, Victoria fell silent for a moment, then said, "Why doesn't your mom ever come to meet you? And don't you miss her? Because I've never seen a single photograph of her with you, nor have I ever seen you talking to her on the phone."
Hearing Victoria's words, Rozer drifted for a moment into the memories of his past. He remembered how, on a dark night, his mother had brought him to Nancy Aunty's house. Back then, Rozer had been crying uncontrollably, begging his mother to let him stay with her. Yet even then, she had deliberately left him at Nancy Aunty's place. From that moment onward, the bond between Rozer and his mother had never healed, and forever after, anger toward his mother took root in his heart.
Seeing Rozer lost in his thoughts like this, Victoria said, "Look, Rozer, if you don't want to tell me, that's okay. But at least don't stay silent like this. You know how talkative I am—I can't stay quiet without talking."
At Victoria's words, Rozer suddenly snapped out of his thoughts and replied, "It's not like that. It's just that I don't like talking about my mom. Anyway, forget all that. Tell me—how did you end up forgetting your car somewhere? I've been asking you for so long, and you still haven't told me."
Here, Rozer deliberately changed the topic because he didn't want Victoria to think badly of his mother. But by returning to the black market, what new trouble Victoria was about to get trapped in—she had absolutely no idea.
