Roy walked up the steps of Tony's oceanfront mansion, the salty Malibu breeze brushing through his silver hair.
The front doors opened before he knocked.
Tony.
Pepper.
Natasha.
Natasha didn't hesitate—she sprinted forward and wrapped Roy in a tight hug, burying her face in his chest.
Her heartbeat was fast—relieved, vulnerable, full of emotions she had been holding back.
Roy gently held her waist.
Tony raised an eyebrow.
"Well… that's new."
Pepper smirked.
"I think she missed him."
Natasha pulled back, cheeks pink but eyes warm.
Roy Congratulates Tony
Roy looked at Tony casually.
"Congratulations on finally confessing to Pepper."
Tony puffed up like a proud peacock.
"Of course I did! I mean, c'mon, I'm Tony Stark. Charm. Genius. Romance—"
Roy interrupted, deadpan:
"Pepper did most of the work."
Pepper covered her mouth, laughing.
Tony: "HEY—EXCUSE ME—"
Roy: "You panicked and started rambling about strawberries."
Pepper: "He did."
Tony: "WHY do you betray me like this?"
The room filled with laughter.
"You want to know who I really am, right?"
Roy's expression shifted—serious, soft, honest.
"You want to know about me."
Tony, Pepper, and Natasha nodded together.
Roy took a seat on the sofa. They joined him—quiet, attentive.
Roy took a breath.
Roy's True Identity
"My name is… Roy Odinson."
Tony blinked like someone hit him with a frying pan.
"Roy… WHAT?"
Pepper froze.
Natasha's eyes widened.
Roy continued calmly:
"I am the youngest son of Odin. The King of Asgard."
Tony opened and closed his mouth several times—no sound came out.
Natasha whispered, "…that makes you a prince."
Tony raised a finger.
"No. No no no no—hold on. THOR Odinson? LIKE—hammer, lightning, muscles Thor?"
Roy nodded.
Tony leaned back dramatically.
"I am actually friends with royal space gods. That's… that's amazing. I'm amazing."
Pepper elbowed him.
About His Girls
Tony leaned forward.
"What about the girls? Sif? Amora? Lorelei—wait are they also—"
Roy nodded.
"Asgardians."
Tony stared at the ceiling like the universe was pranking him.
"So I'm human. You're Asgardian royalty. My friend group makes no sense."
Pepper: "It really doesn't."
Natasha: "…I knew he wasn't normal."
Roy continued, voice calm.
"I'm adopted."
Tony: "THAT part I guessed."
Roy: "And Odin's first child… is Hela Odinson."
Tony stared blankly.
"…Hela? As in the goddess of death? Your sister?"
Roy nodded.
Tony: "Why does your family tree look like a metal album cover?"
How Strong is Roy?
Tony finally asked the question weighing on him.
"So… how strong are you?"
Roy simply said:
"Strong enough to destroy a universe.
A multiverse.
Anything."
Tony's brain short-circuited.
Pepper covered her mouth.
Natasha quietly inhaled.
Roy continued gently:
"But I won't do such things.
And I… must not change timelines."
Tony frowned.
"Why not? You can save people. Change lives. Fix things."
Pepper nodded softly.
Natasha agreed.
"You could stop tragedies before they start."
Roy looked at all three.
"Then tell me—what do you see behind me?"
Tony, Pepper, and Natasha all stiffened.
Because now they could see them.
Behind Roy—
glowing cosmic chains wrapped around his body, dozens and dozens of them.
Tony whispered, stunned.
"…W-What are those?"
Roy's voice turned quiet.
"Restrictions."
He touched one chain gently.
"Each chain is a life I changed.
Every time I alter someone's destiny… a chain binds me."
Tony swallowed.
"You mean… you saved someone before."
Roy nodded.
"I saved many. Princes. Children of royal families. People in other countries… all suffering, dying, desperate. I healed them. Protected them. Gave them futures."
He looked away, eyes heavy but calm.
"Because of that, destinies change.
Timelines shift.
And the weight becomes mine to carry."
Pepper's eyes shimmered.
Natasha placed a hand on Roy's cheek, softly.
Tony's voice cracked a little.
"Roy… you've been carrying that alone?"
Roy nodded once.
The three fell silent—deep, heavy, emotional silence.
Then Pepper said quietly:
"We won't tell anyone."
Natasha tightened her grip on his hand.
"You are safe with us."
Tony placed a hand on Roy's shoulder, no jokes this time.
"You helped me. You saved my life. You saved countless others… Let us help you too."
Roy smiled faintly.
"Thank you."
He stood up—and Natasha immediately walked to his side.
"Let's go," she said softly.
Roy nodded, wrapping an arm around her waist as they left the mansion.
Tony, Pepper, and Natasha watched him go—forever changed, now understanding the cosmic weight Roy carried… and respecting him more than ever.
