Chapter 23: Falling Sakura, Slashing Everywhere
The green glow represented the final safe zone of the Eight Inner Gates. The subsequent Seventh and Eighth Gates placed extremely heavy loads on the body; a little carelessness could create wounds that would never heal, or lead to death. The Sixth Gate was considered a boundary.
Might Guy maintained the status of the Sixth Gate and did not continue to escalate. It wasn't because he didn't want to, but because the wound on his chest made him too weak to open the Seventh Gate.
The accelerated flow of Chakra made his blood churn crazily. The wound Yuichi had left became a vent for his life force. Blood kept spilling, and combined with the high-speed movement required to dodge Yuichi's attacks, Guy had lost a significant amount of blood in just a few moments.

"Look at the blood constantly overflowing from the wound," Kaido observed. "Is he increasing his strength by accelerating his blood flow?"
"The tricks used by that ninja seem to put a huge burden on the body!" Big Mom added.
"Weird ability!" Shanks said, fixing his eyes on Yuichi. Through the huge light curtain in the sky, he seemed to look past the sea and directly onto the roof of Naval Headquarters.
He watched Yuichi standing there, holding his sword.
Yuichi's successive slashes had demonstrated one thing: with his terrifying swordsmanship, he was worthy of serving as a Marine Admiral. The slashing speed was so dizzying that it was almost invisible; perhaps even Hawkeye Mihawk didn't possess such speed.
In terms of pure sword speed, the title of "World's Strongest" might be contested. This Marine Admiral candidate was certainly no weaker than Hawkeye. Of course, only a real fight would determine who was stronger.

The green light flashed as Might Guy took the initiative to attack Yuichi for the first time.

Yuichi didn't back down. Although the Zanpakutō in his hand was narrow, in Yuichi's hands, it turned into a shield that seemed capable of blocking anything.
He kept parrying Might Guy's fists. The collision of Haki and Chakra caused a fierce roar. The figures of the two flickered around the roof.
With his Chakra cloak, Might Guy dared to fight the Zanpakutō head-on with his bare hands. Sparks burst out from the impacts, dazzling and scattering.
The figures flashed back and forth, the constant collisions causing astonishing tremors. The roar of combat was continuous.
In the Ninja World, watching Might Guy with the Eight Inner Gates active, the ninjas of Konoha Village were shocked.
The Eight Inner Gates was a Forbidden Technique. It was rumored that when fully opened, the Eight Gates could instantly grant power dozens of times greater than that of a Kage. And now, Konoha's master of Taijutsu, the Blue Beast Might Guy, was displaying this Forbidden Technique.
The power displayed was truly shocking. Yet, Yuichi did not retreat and met Might Guy's attack blow for blow.
That is the Forbidden Technique, the Eight Inner Gates! The caster is Might Guy! And the opponent is fighting him so fiercely with ease.
Are the people in the other world all monsters of this level? How can he be so strong!
The time displayed on the light curtain showed the last twenty seconds.
One punch knocked Yuichi back, and Might Guy also took a few steps back to stabilize himself, panting heavily. More blood dripped from the wound on his chest.
On the other hand, Yuichi looked indifferent, his breathing rhythm steady. He noticed the last twenty seconds on the clock.
There was no time left. It might take minutes to drag the fight out until Might Guy ran out of energy, but Yuichi wouldn't wait.
Might Guy didn't want to continue looking for openings either. It was necessary to unleash the strongest blow possible to defeat Yuichi and claim the golden flag.
In the plaza below, almost all the Chūnin had been captured. Even the Jōnin were wounded; not caught yet, but they wouldn't last long. The only difficult opponent left was Kakashi.
"Aokiji, Kizaru, make sure to catch that guy!" Sengoku ordered.
Hearing this, Kizaru pointed toward the roof. "Don't we need to help Yuichi?"
Sengoku smiled. "Don't worry, he's fine!"
Sengoku was well aware of Yuichi's strength. There were only three people in the entire Marine organization who fully understood how strong that man was: Zephyr, who had left the Marines; Garp; and Sengoku himself.
The three of them had seen Yuichi's terrifying power with their own eyes.
Falling Sakura flowers, slashing everywhere!
That kind of power was likely able to stop even someone at the Yonko level. If the opponent could block that, then even if Kizaru and Aokiji went to help, it would be useless.
Unexpectedly, seeing Sengoku trust Yuichi so much, Kizaru and Aokiji didn't ask further questions, though they remained curious. From their position, they couldn't see the battle on the roof, but everyone outside Marineford could clearly see the duel between Yuichi and Might Guy.
The two stopped and looked at each other silently for two seconds.
Suddenly, Might Guy jumped straight into the sky.
He clenched his hands and placed them at his waist to accumulate power...
