Chapter 51 - “You Said Our Numbers Were Too Different… What About Now?”

Conqueror's Haki poured endlessly from Raifeng.

In an instant—

That overwhelming pressure swept through the ship like a violent current, scouring every corner.

around three hundred pirates were caught in it—every single one.

And then—

You could see it happen.

Pirates who had been shouting and grinning a second ago suddenly went slack.

Their eyes rolled back.

The light drained out of them.

Their minds were crushed under a force they couldn't even understand.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

One pirate dropped.

Then another.

Then another—

Like a chain of dominoes collapsing.

Foam bubbled at their mouths.

Bodies crumpled across the deck.

Not one or two.

Not dozens.

Nearly all of them.

On a ship carrying over three hundred pirates, ninety-nine percent went down—instantly.

Only a tiny handful remained conscious.

Less than five.

And among them—

White Bear Rabiz.

The wind drifted over the ship.

The atmosphere turned… wrong.

Silent.

Dead silent.

Hundreds of bodies lay sprawled across the deck at once, creating a scene so eerie it made the skin crawl.

The most terrifying part?

They all fell in the same moment.

And no one even understood how.

Rabiz stood rigid, face pale, eyes wide with horror.

"W-What… what just happened?!"

"Why did they all collapse?!"

His mind blanked.

His fear swelled—because fear always grows fastest when you can't explain what's happening.

The confident grin on his face hadn't even fully formed before it froze into something ugly and stiff.

"B-Boss…" the four surviving pirates trembled beside him. "What was that?"

"Why did everyone drop?!"

They looked to Rabiz like he was supposed to have answers.

But Rabiz had none.

He didn't know either.

A cold sea breeze slid past.

The survivors shivered, goosebumps rising.

Rabiz's expression told them the truth—

He was just as lost as they were.

"S-So scary…" one pirate whispered, voice breaking.

"What kind of power makes hundreds of people pass out without a sound?"

"I don't… I don't know…"

Their thoughts were a mess.

The situation flipped too fast.

A second ago, they'd been confident their numbers could crush any Marine assault.

Now—

In less than a few seconds—

they were suddenly alone.

Then—

Rabiz's pupils shrank.

A realization stabbed through him.

He whipped his head around, searching the deck.

And he saw him.

At the center of all those fallen bodies—

a small, young figure stood calmly with a katana in hand.

Unshaken.

Unaffected.

And because everyone around him was down, that figure looked impossibly sharp—almost unreal.

"That… that brat…" Rabiz's throat went dry, dread thick in his voice.

Nothing else had changed.

No new enemies.

No reinforcements.

Only that child had boarded this ship.

Which meant—

The only variable was him.

"It's him," Rabiz blurted out, voice shaking.

"Boss… you mean…" the remaining pirates stared, stunned. "This is all… because of that kid?!"

"How is that even possible?!"

But whether they could accept it or not didn't matter anymore.

Their instincts were screaming at them.

They hadn't received a hostage.

They'd received a monster—

A terrifying, unknown monster who had wiped out their crew in an instant.

And by the time they truly understood that…

It was already too late.

Raifeng stepped forward, katana loose at his side.

He walked past the unconscious bodies without hesitation—even stepping on them as he approached Rabiz.

He'd already identified the captain.

He'd already decided the fastest path.

His voice was calm. Almost amused.

"I heard you earlier."

"You were talking about how our numbers were too different."

He stopped within striking distance, looking up at Rabiz.

"So…"

"What about now?"
