Black Crest Jubilife Breeding House
Seven days passed. New employees arrived one after another.
Leon and Amanda were in charge of recruitment.
Austin, Dai Yui, and Mizuki handled training.
Dai Yui and Mizuki adapted quickly. They already fit into the rhythm of work.
Before the day began, Leon announced the news.
"To help everyone get familiar, we are holding a welcome dinner tonight."
"No forced performances. No self-introductions. We eat. That is all."
Cheers broke out.
The expansion of the Breeding House required coordination. Everyone needed to work smoothly to provide better service for boarded Pokémon.
Another busy day began.
"Mr. Haru, this is your Liepard. Please take it."
Daniella at the front desk handed over the Pokémon with a polite smile.
Haru checked Liepard's new moves on his Pokédex.
"Very good. I am satisfied."
Ding!
[Haru is satisfied with Liepard's breeding. Mission progress 36 out of 100.]
In just seven days, Austin's main mission progress moved fast.
Still, he was not relaxed. He kept thinking about how to help Feebas regain confidence.
The good news. Feebas was eating.
The bad news. It refused to show itself to anyone.
Austin and Feebas had an understanding. He placed the food and left. Feebas only came out when no one was around.
As the Breeding House grew busier, Feebas had fewer chances to appear.
"Feebas, you need to try coming out. I will make sure people stay away from the pond."
Using his authority, Austin asked staff to prevent the viewing of the fish pond by customers. He could not monitor every customer.
Dai Yui offered an idea.
"Why not put caution tape here?"
Mizuki and Dai Yui both tried helping before. Nothing worked.
Austin pondered before saying.
"Let's try. I am running out of ideas."
He quickly made a wooden sign and set up caution tape.
Most customers respected it. Anyone willing to pay for Pokémon care usually loved Pokémon.
…
Business continued to grow.
Mom worked the calculator, the sound sharp and steady.
"I did not expect business to be this good."
Leon laughed.
"Austin's videos on PokéStream helped a lot. Big Brother really had vision."
Austin uploaded videos based on his uncle's suggestion.
Amanda added another reminder.
"The business license is approved. Go to the city center this afternoon to collect it."
After hiring staff, they applied for a Pokémon food business license.
This allowed them to sell Energy Cubes, Poffins, and related products.
Leon clenched his fist.
"Perfect."
Amanda moved fast. Berry trees were already planted in the yard.
After setting the caution tape, Austin stopped pressing Feebas for now.
Seven days passed. Feebas showed no response to communication.
Austin even asked Ryu to try with aura. It failed.
"Forget it. I will record a video first."
He prepared the fourth video.
The third episode had been replaced with Smoked Round Citrus Juice due to Red pushing for updates.
Austin was not worried about others copying it.
The system made it clear. Special effects only worked when he made it.
System magic, he guessed.
Others could copy the taste. Nothing more.
For the video, Austin invited Dai Yui, Mizuki, Incineroar, and others as tasters.
His parents tried it. No special effects triggered.
The drink, adapted from a famous Johto drink, earned strong praise from Red.
It pushed the channel past ten thousand followers.
Red praised Austin for improving the recipe and sharing it for free.
The two made a deal and became friends.
Although they rarely spoke.
Red spent his days battling on Mt. Silver.
Austin focused on the Breeding House.
Busy. Everyone was busy. Busy was good.
He had already received his mission reward: one Pokédex dish and two item lottery tickets.
[Leppa Berry Crisp (Grade A)]: A dessert, crispy outside, soft inside. Puff pastry requires repeated folding, refrigeration, and strict heat control. Consuming it boosts health for 12 hours.

Daily crafting limit: 0/1
Tip: Improve cooking skills before attempting. Don't waste ingredients. You can start with the simplified version.
Austin couldn't handle the full recipe yet.
The simplified version skips the puff pastry and only coats it with egg wash and breadcrumbs.
He checked his cooking skill level.
Cooking Skills (Intermediate): (3,457/10,000)
With more staff, Austin could improve faster.
He used the two lottery tickets: drawing an Everstone and a Muscle Band.
[Everstone]: Prevents Pokémon from evolving.
[Muscle Band]: Boosts physical attack power when equipped.
Everstone was practically useless for Austin. Every Breeding House kept a few on hand. Some Pokémon refused to evolve, and some trainers wanted them to stay the same.
Mizuki's Glameow, for example, carried an Everstone to prevent evolution.
Austin gave the Muscle Band to Metang, who strapped it to his right arm.
The third task of [I really didn't want to be a content creator] had two main objectives:
100,000 followers (27,589/100,000)
Five videos over one million views (3/5)
Mission Rewards: 3 random Pokémon item lottery tickets, 1 random specialty dish, 1 random intermediate skill.
…
Inside the room, Austin set up the camera and adjusted the angle.
"Let's get into today's fourth tutorial. Today we're building the Energy Cube!"
"First, the colors of the Energy Cube."
Five Energy Cubes sat in front of him: red, blue, pink, green, and yellow. All high quality.
"Take note of these five colors. Their meanings shall be explained along the way."
While Austin filmed, his Pokégear buzzed with a message.
[Grandpa]: The tutor we hired for you will arrive tomorrow morning at nine o'clock.
